Morning Bears. Disappointed that we lost last night, especially the nature of their equaliser and then missing two penalties. However, I think we need to calm down. Using words like 'disgrace' to describe the result is a bit over the top. We are league champions and won title #55, stopping them from claiming their tainted 10iar. Perhaps we secured the title too early and that the team eased off after knowing we won the league? We are still unbeaten in the league and had a great Europa League run again. I would have liked the double but if I had been told at the beginning of the season that we'd be league champions but nothing else, then I'd have happily taken that. Injuries to Jack, Arfield and Tavernier haven't helped and Davis has been asked to do an awful lot with his ageing legs. Let's see the season out unbeaten and allow Gerrard to refresh the squad and go for #56!

I agree DOIGER, as i was as disappointed as any other bear, but its cup football and unfortunately we didn't perform nowhere near our best 😞Fair play to st. johnstone and they got their gameplan spot on,
although again bad game management on our part, as we should have been seeing the game through, when tav put us 1-0 up, in the dying embers of the game 🤔Big mistake in my eyes anyway in taking morelos off! He was having a very good second half!

With celtic out the way in both cups we will never have a clearer run to a treble. And we absolutely no 2 ways about it bottled both cups. And yes it is a disgrace.

It’s a complete disgrace to be knocked out both cups yes they league was the one that matters but after beating Celtic we should be winning that game yesterday at home.
How can there be a free header in the 3min of injury in our 6 yard box


Our records in cups is horrendous and when players say they will learn from it we have been hearing that for 3 years.

1 trophy allbeit a great one from 9 attempts isn't acceptable. Knocked out of the league Cup this year by StMirren, knocked out of The Scottish Cup this year by St Johnstone at home in the manner we did is unacceptable, being unable to professionally see a number of games late late on from a winning position isn't acceptable. Gerrard said he was at fault for the st mirren exit and would learn and said it again after last night so he obviously hasnt. Being knocked out in the quarter finals of the Scottish Cup for the 3rd year in a row isn't acceptable. Not a great record. The league win saved a lot of difficult questions from being asked I think.

Not having Arfield or Jack in the middle of the park really effects us. Aribo isn't the type to put in the graft in, and when him and Kamara play together but go missing for periods of the match. This isn't something that's just appeared but somehow SG keeps going back to this combination. Hagi isn't good enough and my granny is faster than him. Why wasn't Scott Wright given a chance infront of Hagi? That's 2 motm performances he's had and then dropped to the bench. People talk about SG for all these big jobs in England but in truth he's nowhere near ready for Spurs yet.

Fans have a right to be disappointed, no point playing it down because we won the league, its not good enough. SG stood there and did nothing to change it. It was clear our plan A wasn't working from the first 20 minutes. He has to learn to adapt our tactics and formation👍.

Naw it’s not a disgrace. We can’t just turn up n expect to win every game. That’s a shocking attitude. At Johnstone deserved and good luck to them. Anybody asked at the start of the season would they take the season we’ve had would’ve snapped you’re hand of. Get a grip man. Anybody shout disgrace n bad mouthing Gerrard need my a reality check m. Penalties is a lottery, as u all heard big shagger say 2 weeks ago. Our muscles in midfield and somebody should’ve picked up the keeper a dunno what happened there. But I’m not bothered this morning. Agree with that sweep, roofe was standing with his hands folded behind his back as he wasn’t interested I predicted he’d miss the penalty. What I would ask is why when it’s 0-0 in such a tight game have we got a £35k a week striker sitting on his arse. Should he not have been put on? Or itten for his physique? I’d have put Defoe on for hagi and put Morelos to hagis position to try outmuscle their stubborn back line. Or itten for his height at the back post.
