For me I'd say that's our strongest sqaud available in a 4312 formation
Playing that way I think it reduces our midfield from having to support the forwards as they can be a unit in midfield now. it does pose a question where it leaves, Wright, hagi and aribo as there all direct replacements for Kent in the 1 behind the strikers. i know we've played 433 but we've had problem positions in right forward, centre attack midfield and Kent getting marked out of the game at left forward. for me change to 4312 formation solves all these problems without having to buy new players. thoughts.

We need many strings to our bow DD1980 Celtic at least gave us space to attack as they attacked. We need to think about the other teams with 11 behind the ball (they worry me more than Celtic) . Two up top might not be the answer for every game.

I think we have to have different types of players so we can adapt our play and use different tactics and formations to suit. I completely agree with your assessement of the 4312 and the midfield playing as unit, I think that helped aribo. It was a very successful gameplan and long overdue. 👍.

I think he’s beginning to think out of the box, Stevie has said quite a few times how he got the team or tactics wrong, I think they have practiced this formula all week and allowed them to interchange at times, the two nines were fantastic for me.
