Feel sorry for Simpson to an extent booked shortly into both games but came out making good progress imho he's OK in Gerrard we trust. 🇬🇧🇬🇧🇬🇧🇬🇧🇬🇧🍾🍾🍾🍾🍾🥰😍😘🤩🥳.

i also think he will come good however he wwent to ground far too easy and was turned inside out. his positional play is no where near Helander but experience will sort him out over time.

I actually thought Simpson had a decent game last night considering he hasn't played much football this year.
Gerrard himself said that Simpson and Wright were bought for next season but it was ideal to bring them in early to get them bedded into the ethos of the side.
Simpson himself has been rushed into action in recent weeks due to injuries to Helander and Balogun.

Other than couple minor mistakes in last 2 games I thought Simpsons did well especialy tied with early bookings aswell.
