Great news young Patterson makes the scotland squad the one I don’t understand is greg Taylor as we already have 2 left backs in the squad it’s a waste of space IMO.

Was thinking this as well, only can think that one of Tierney or Robertson may play on the left hand side of a midfield, leaving Taylor as left back cover, surely that is the only logical explanation for selecting him.

Good news for Patterson and will be a good experience for the boy and make him hungry for more. I wander what will happen with him playing for us next season.

If you’d watch Scotland guys u will know we play a back 3 with tierney on the left and the interli k with each other superbly going forward one sits one goes. Even if robbo got injured I think Taylor would come in rather than move tierney. He’s our best centre back tbh even though he’s a left back. Wet are very weak in central defence so we play 3 to cover for that weakness.

IGWT I know where he plays KT but if Robertson gets injured KT should play there as Taylor not good enough it’s that simple KT is better at left back then he is at LCB and he also plays better for Scotland than Ar does.

I’d agree he plays better for Scotland than robbo, I think Taylor’s not a bad player. It’s a hard one as we’re so poor at centre back he does a great job for us. Don’t think there’s a right or wrong decision.

Taylors not a bad player, but with Teirney and Robertson already there I believe it's an old pals act, boy won't get near the park.
