My main point regarding lewis ferguson however is we won't spend £3million-£4million on him, as his talent doesn't warrant that price scale pal and that's my honest opinion! He's not good enough to hold down a regular berth in our midfield 🤔I have no doubt we won't sign ferguson for this sort of dough and i trust wholeheartedly that steven gerrard/ ross wilson and co,

My choice is the man utd young midfielder who's currently on loan at notts forest 🤔He goes by the name of james garner and miles ahead of ferguson of the sheep 👍 Every time i've watched ferguson against us he's been woeful and that's the god's honest truth! Whereas garner has been terrific for forest, in the 5 or so times i've seen him and he's highly rated down in england with various clubs 👌.

Remeber we laughed when Celtic never coughed up and extra couple of quid for John McGinn and a know the stat police won’t like this but Ferguson’s is well ahead in almost every department at the same stage in his career! Fear this could be our McGinn! Ferguson’s a young lad who’s suits our style and has bags of ability and plenty room to progress like Kamara, Jack etc all have under our coaches! would love to see him at the Gers BTW I’m no saying he’s a cert to match where McGinn has gotten to but the potential is there 👍🏻.

Sir Walter I’m like you and think Ferguson would be a good signing for us - SG will develop him into a player that will hopefully have many good years with us if he was to sign / he’s only 21 and 2.5-3 isn’t a huge amount when you consider some of the players we have and their valuations - can only see him getting better with better coaching and better players around him - would guess at worst if if didn’t work out we would get close to what we spend anyway on him though I would expect it to work out - he will bring some goals and dig and would eventually get into our team and arfield and Davis can only play on so long and I can’t see Kamara or aribo staying on another couple of seasons so we will always be needing new midfielders - also jack and his injuries and look at the improvement in many of our midfielders once they come to Rangers, Ferguson would also improve.

Airfield and Davis are at the wrong end of their careers and whilst Lewis is far from the finished article he is well respected by most football people, he has proved that he can do well in the ASAP all and will benefit from the same coaching that transformed Kamara - if our manager rates him.
