Morning Champion Bears hope everyone is well. Read that Jordan Jones is set to return to base. Can he be trusted to change his selfish ways or do we kick him to the kerb. Imho as a footballer I think he adds something, but as a selfish individual he needs pasted and taught some manners. I can forgive his stupid sending off but he is childish a bit with little concern for his privileged position. Thoughts please Bears. Happy Rangers Day folks. 💙.

I’m sorry but Jones just ain’t and never has been good enough and will be sold this summer. I watched Sunderland’s play off game, they needed a goal or were out, Jones was on the bench, they’re manger used all of his 5 subs yet kept Jones on the bench. To me that says a lot, he wasn’t even considered good enough to help Sunderland reach the 1st division play off final (and believe me the overall standard of football in the game wasn’t that great) . Looking at his overall appearances at Sunderland, the majority of them were as a sub, couldn’t force his way into their starting eleven. We need players of a higher quality than Jones.

Ger 1978, he did well for Sunderland while on loan, my mates a Sunderland fan and says the fans were loving him and want Sunderland to sign him. you said you watched 1 game and he never played and your making your judgement on that lol. I personaly say we keep him but think he bay more suited for our European style of fast counter attacks rather than 11 men behind the ball in the spl. keep him for 6 month and let him prove himself I say.

I had high hopes for Jordan Jones and I was all for giving him another chance after his reckless tackle against Celtic and was pleased for him when he scored for us earlier in the season, everyone can make mistakes and deserves a second chance but with the C.V. breach he’s proved that he has the wrong attitude to play for us and we would be better of getting him off the wage bill.

He's a decent player but his attitude always comes into question and off field antics. I've never met him but if it's true about his personality then he will be sold. You never know maybe his wee loan spell away would have got him thinking about what he's missing and he might change his ways. Being a Rangers fan it must have hurt him watching his team win 55 and he was on loan playing no part.

No Davie, I’m not basing my opinion on watching one game, please try to understand the point I was making. I actually kept an eye on how he was doing on loan (as I did with Barker and Edmundson too, as well as all our younger players that are on loan) He made 21 appearances in total, scoring 3 times, not exactly a great record. The majority of his appearances were from the bench, suggesting that (although your pal may of liked him) the Sunderland manager couldn’t of considered him vital to the team. The point I was making about the play off game was that Sunderland used 16 players during the game and none of them were Jones, considering that for the last 40 mins they needed a goal and still their manager didn’t feel it was right to put him on then obviously he couldn’t of rated him that highly.
To me Jones is your typical ‘badge kisser’. Says the kind of things that fans like to hear and occasionally does something like score a bit of a worldy. However he never seems to impress his managers enough to get a regular start and constantly seems to get himself mixed up in off field nonsense. Simply he isn’t good enough as a player or professional enough as a person.

Personal experience here. When Jordan Jones was at Killie had the flat directly below me. Selfish is only one of the many words I would use. No respect for anyone.
