I was reading an article ed01 that said Liverpool deliberately only sell 26000 season tickets. This is so they can maximise match day takings and selling the rest of the tickets individually. It was just to ask what would be the price of a league game ticket against Everton?

{Ed001's Note - I have no idea how much tickets cost, I have never had to pay for one yet. Always been people at the club to get me them. Your manager has got me a few in the past, back when he was a youngster. So I don't know what the pricing is at all or how much it has ever been.}

Just checked on Liverpools site for an adult ticket it varies from £40-£60 depending on what stand your in.

{Ed001's Note - sounds about right. I do remember a lot of protests and FSG being forced to back down when they tried to hoof ticket prices right up a few years back.}

Great words on Kenny Ed

This will hurt a few but

Kenny is another who comes from my street

North Glasgow could have fielded a team to take on anyone in the world imho,

A legend.

{Ed001's Note - the whole reason Liverpool initially recruited from Scotland was because Houlding wanted to create the best team in England, so he wanted the best players. Can't imagine anyone doing that now!}

That’s probably due to football tourists, not something we benefit greatly from in the SPFL. If it wasn’t for season ticket holders, we would struggle to max out the stadium against a Hamilton in a wet winters night.

Trying to get a ticket for Liverpool matches even with the tickets that go on sale is horrendous I have been trying for a few years now for my son who is Liverpool daft.

{Ed001's Note - you do really need to know someone. Or join the scheme they have and wait your turn. A number of tickets are given to various supporters clubs, they sometimes have left overs for some games. Worth checking them out on FB if he is a Liverpool fan. I know a guy who used to get tickets quite regularly from an Irish supporters group, as they got more than they needed.}

I joined the scheme a few years ago and managed to sign up for the league cup games. Managed to get to the cup games against Chelsea and Arsenal. Very difficult to get tickets even when your a member have only managed to attend 2 other matches in that time Swansea in the league and WBA in FA cup.

{Ed001's Note - it is very difficult. The club do not help much to be honest.}
