Would like to know what folk would think of a move for Barry Douglas. Don't think he would start over Borna so he might chose to move elsewhere with less competition but nonetheless a very good option to have at left back in my opinion. He's a big gers man and would allow Bassey to get some minutes out on loan as I don't think Gerrard fully trusts him right now especially after his cup game vs St Mirren. I know finances might be a bit tight as we try to start turning a profit yearly so can imagine some folk might want the money from his wages spent elsewhere but to be fair he is a free agent and I would take the punt.

We are supposed to be looking at the young German left back whose also out of contract for cover for that position, apparently we have been following his progress for a year now so can't see Douglas getting offered a contract anytime soon unless things change then you just never know but its definitely not looking likely.

it’s a fast paced game, inside and out, players are recycled and replaced every single day, of course new guys are needed, unless you believe nobody’s going anywhere? Highly unlikely imo
If they Like the boy then I think it’s a good call.

Hardly young at 28, from a footballing point of view. More like entering his prime. Was decent for Leicester tho.

28 is still young compared to most of our first team squad nowadays do you realise how many of our players are over 30 some mid to late 30s even touching 40 but age is just a number when you have class.
