Seems very strange that gers have released so many youth players especialy with the lowland league team. i did originally think our under 18s would play the lowland league. I get that if gers don't think there good enough we need to cut our losses and bring through the next age group.

Your last sentence hits the nail on the head.
No point in paying / extending contracts if players if the management don't they are going to make it.
Fingers crossed they go on and have a decent career elsewhere.

Three and mph. 10 youth players got released. that's a lot including Dickson that was well thought of by gers and young combes who was supposobly the next best thing. just seems a little strange.

Coombes and I'm sure a few others didn't sign contracts as far as I'm aware.
Good luck to them wherever they end up, maybe one day the will remember where they learned the basics and come back, bigger and better.

Finlayson soldd to st mirren. Mulholland says we made big money for both youths with potential for more payments
Mebube kinnear blew it. Dickson too.
