Dont look into the defeat too much it's only and friendly to get minutes into the players legs the only thing that matters is the spl points and the champions league group stage 👌.

RangersFC, why get minutes into Middleton, Jones and Barkers legs if they're potentially not good enough for the 1st team. Doesn't make sense. They didn't even do enough if they were even in the shop window. Unless of course Gerrard still has plans for them.

You can't sell unfit players BIGIKS.
Rangers need to be savvy and make sure all players on the books are fit for the new season whether they are part of the plans or not.

I never got the chance to see the game as I was travelling, but after reading some comments, you would think we'd already thrown in the towel before the season has even started. It was a friendly, that's all! I hate getting beat too, but some perspective is needed by some on here. I do agree that players like Middleton, Barker, Jones and some others will never make the grade, but If the manager wants them out, he has got to give them game time in the hope someone comes in for them. Relax, enjoy the summer, and watch us go when the real stuff starts.
Also, I've just seen that Coldo has been banned! He may not be everyone's cup of tea, and I've had my disagreements with him myself, but it's disappointing to see anyone get themselves into a situation where the Eds feel the need to ban them. I hope he understands why he was banned, and If Ed allows him back, we can see a bit more humility from him.

Well said BIGIKS, the question must be asked, why did we lose? Are the players less fit that tranmere? Did they care less? Or did it just not matter to anyone. We were all slevering at the mouth when the Real Madrid game was announced, does that game matter? If we lose 7-0 will they all be saying its just a friendly it matters not? Once upon a time Rangers never played friendlies now some find it acceptable to lose to crap lower league English teams.

We had no helander barisic kamara Jack morelos. Mixed the 2 11s up so we never had what anyone could class as close to our strongest team out there. No need to panic it's about building the fitness up.

Just waiting for the “sack the rookie manager” brigade to hit full speed.

Not happy with the performance but the result is irrelevant in the first few pre season friendlies.

Get everyone match fit and find a settled 1st squad - any wins at this stage are a bonus.
