The squad needs trimmed with a minimum of 5 players being moved on? Who do we think guys?

2- Katic (possibly on loan or descent offer)
3- Middleton
4- Jones
5- Barker (not up to it)

Martin all about opinions. Simpson an excellent ch. much better that katic.
I remember on here the amount off people who never wanted him in rangers jersey when he sold jerseys at Kilmarnock, also Motherwell and Hamilton
Hopefully he can become a top player for us, needs to learn to pass and control the ball imo.

Easier said than done to get rid of players now no longer up to the required standard as the club strives to progress each season. And they are sometimes on good money at Rangers as well.
I like Edmondson.
And Katic is needing 6 months to a season out on loan to eliminate the deficienies in his game.

I wouldn't sell him but he needs game time.

I'd keep Katic, he's a warrior, great in the air. He will improve, definitely a player there.

Most recent recruits have taken time to settle at Ibrox - Goldson, Tav, Barasic to name a few who would not have been with us last season if a decision had been made based on their contribution after 6 months.

Give the players a break, trust the manager and be, I’ve in every player who is lucky enough to be chosen to wear our colours.

A few like Middleton don’t seem to have what it takes but the manager and coaching staff see players every day in training.

For me I would be looking to maximise what we could get for the following players although if Goldson doesn't sign a new contract Wilson and Gerrard have a difficult decision to make:
1.Edmunson
2. Barker, I struggle to see what Gerrard sees in him)
3. Jones,
4. Middleton ( I think he has potential but whether he will ever be of a quality that is good enough for us I doubt. Would be tempted to use him as part of a deal for McCann)
5. Itten (He is right down there with Sebo in my book. He is a big strong lad but he just doesn't look suited to our league. For a big guy he lacks aggression) .
6. Katic on loan unless we are faced to sell Goldson
7. Hagi ( think we could get good money if rumours are to believed and for me he is a luxury player. )
