Taking into account that malmo of course are a bit in front of us in match fitness, we still made some individual errors definitely looked tired and weary, but we will get up to speed and we'll still get through imo 🙏What i will say and i noticed it in the 2 goals we lost tonight, that we badly miss ryan jack who's easily the best rangers midfielder at covering our full backs superbly and filling the space,
especially when tav is out of position and he was for their first goal tonight and unfortunately again for him, gave away the ball for their 2nd goal 😞A fit jacko always plays for me as we're a much better/ balanced midfield, when he's playing and gerrard obviously thinks this also 👌I honestly don't think we would have lost the first goal tonight, if a fit jacko was playing 🤔He's still for me the first name down in our midfield when he's fit 🤔.

I’m a big Ryan Jack fan and I agree SGL he does offer that cover but it’s hard to argue with Kamara and Davis being our best pairing given the number of games they played together. For me we badly missed Kamara for his ball winning qualities and composure on the ball. For me Lundstrum is probably better in a more advanced role and is new to team so still trying to learn how we play I’m hopeful he will come good.

Morelos was also a big miss, as hard as Itten tried and he didn’t play badly he just doesn’t occupy defenders like Morelos does.

Davis goal huge still in the tie!

Agree 100% coops. Jack provides great cover sitting in front of the defence. Chances are at least one of the goals would have been prevented had he been playing.

100% SGL. I think Lundstram will be his replacement in time but would be great to have him available. We looked rusty and the two goals were howlers. Sometimes these mistakes can be a useful reminder that we aren't worldbeaters and can help us refocus and work on our failings. Backing us to learn from it and go through.

Who cares who's in front of us. its scoreline that count and this is a competitive cl game and we were shocking.
