An early season of woe continues.
Helander out until at least December.
We've already had a stop / start pre-season due to the Euro's and Copa America.
Add in injuries, CV and suspensions and it's not been the ideal preparation as we've been knocked out the CL qualifiers and struggled for consistency of performance in the SPFL.
But strangely enough we are still top? I don't know if that says more about our competition than our own form?
And tonight we probably face our toughest test of the season so far. Lyon. Who aren't exactly ripping up the French league this early either. But have a few quality
So for all the plaudits the Rangers players received last season for delivering 55, it's now time for them to stand up and be counted in the quest to get the Europa League campaign off to a flyer.
Especially all those players who have aspirations to be playing at a higher level and crave a move elsewhere.
The spine of the team needs to lead by example - McGregor, Goldson, Davis and Morelos.
Supported by the players round about them - Tav, Kamara, Roofe and Kent.
It might even be an opportunity for others like Wright and Sakala to show their worth.
So now it's prediction time!
I fancy Rangers to rise to the occasion and for us to blow them away under the lights of Ibrox and an atmosphere that these type of nights bring.
In Gerrard We Trust.
So it's 3-1 to Rangers. Morelos with a double and Roofe to grab the other.

I would take any draw to be honest.
My worry is that there are players who want to be somewhere else and maybe won't hit the crazy heights of last season.
A bit like the other lot fail failing for 10.

If player's want to be somewhere else, surely if they play really well and get noticed by other clubs that is their best chance of getting their desired move.

Just biding their time will not help theirs or our clubs desires.
