Here's a wee question for everyone on here 👍Most of us have favourite english teams.
So who's your favourite english team and why did you start following them 🤔.

Man Utd
My dad was a big fan of them and I grew up watching and supporting them and the whole Sir Alex connection probably had a lot to do with it too for me.

Good question SGL. Its Sheffield Wednesday for me. I started liking them after Chris Woods joined them from us. I absolutely loved Chris Woods when he was with us and was crying as a young lad when my dad told me we had sold him🤣 I then remember Wednesday being involved in a Cup Final against Arsenal that went to a replay and that was me a fan. They had a great team back then with Woods, Waddle, Chris Bart Williams, Carlton Palmer, Paul Warhurst and David Hirst. Great team to watch back then. My fondness for them got stronger when about 10 years ago we played them at Hillsbrough in pre season and we took over most of the stadium. I loved the atmosphere in Hillsbrough and I've been back a few times since. I do like Liverpool as well but if they played each other I'm supporting Wednesday all day long.

Mines is newcastle utd followed by leeds utd as i have family in both places 👍 It's always been newcastle utd first and foremost for me however, like i said because of family and a lot of geordie friends down there and also when KK went there as a player, that's how long i've been following the mags as my favourite english team 👍.

Westham, starting following them due to playing champ man when I was a lot younger. They’re team at the time consisted of a number of flare players like Joe Cole, Trevor Sinclair, Freddy Kanote, Di Canio and the icing on the cake, our very own Defoe. I ended up watching out for they’re results and watching match of the day. Again, it’s probably not so much supporting other than enjoying watching them snd looking out for they’re results.

I've always liked Leeds utd since we played them in the CL. Was at ibrox that night and it was still the best night I've witnessed as a fan. Plus I always liked the fact they had a lot of brilliant scots in their team. But to be honest I hardly watch an EPL game anymore as Rangers is all that matters now. Between working 48 hours a week (sometimes more) and spending time with my 2 young kids I've not got much time to watch anything other than Rangers.

Arsenal, Liked them back to the time they won the league against a dominant Liverpool. I remember watching, think it was live on tv on a Friday night when Michael Thomas clinched it at the death. Then a few years later doing the Ibrox tour and hearing about the history my two clubs had sealed it for me.

AFC Bournemouth, I worked in that area for 12 years and went regularly to watch them. Watched some good players develop with them, Efan Ekoku, Gavin Peacock, Jamie Rednapp, Jermain Defoe, Eddie Howe, Nathan Ake.

I'm the same, Paul. My dad played professionally i'm the 50's and early 60's so I like to see his old team's do well. I had a wee thing for Leeds when I was young but really couldn't care less now.

Cambiger, my late dad's favourite english team was the arsenal and he made friends down there by going to highbury when we played them in friendlies year about back in the day 👍Rangers and Arsenal do have connections and go back a helluva long way to the bill struth and herbert chapman years, as the 2 managers were also very friendly 👍🇬🇧.
