This mornings thoughts:

For me we bring in our Goldson replacement in Jan. Goldson leaves end of season at latest.

Tav stays on the bench for some time, provided Patterson keeps up his energy levels and improves.

Bassey holds onto LB same as above.

Aribo keeps his position in front 3

Roofe and Morelos get more time together.

The sooner Kent is back the better because Wright is NOT the answer. The kid can improve but he frustrates out me. Far too light weight and spends more time complaining than playing.

Lundstram gets more game time giving SD some rest. He is improving more and more.

Bassey is nowhere near bornas level. So borna needs to play. Ryan kent has been honkin every single game so unless he improves massively he doesn't deserve a start.

Unless something changes in our offer to Goldson he will leave and fair play to him if he gets his premiership move. We will have CB lined up to replace him.
Does Tav play over Patterson - Yes
Does Borna play over Shirley - Yes
Does Davis play over Lundstrum - Yes
I’d play Patterson, Bassey and Lundstrum against weaker opponents and rest the above. Tav, Borna and Davis all would start in an old firm game for me.
We miss Kent of last year and apart from spells against Hibs Wright hasn’t taken his chances. Kent will come back sharper and tear opponents apart again.

I agree he should be first and Shirleys not currently as good as Barasic. But Barasic, like Tav, is bringing no energy to the play.

If anyone watched Hibs game and still thinks Patterson should start before Tav they have an issue. Patterson is miles away from the standard of delivery Tav provides. I understand Patterson needs game time to develop.

Borna is top class, really top drawer had a bit of lost form same as most of our squad. He’s an epl level left back. Maybe not world class as I previously thought and said but definitely top class.
Also we don’t have the money for goldson replacement hence not spending a penny for 2 windows now.

Kent has been honking yes but on his game he is the best in that position and Bassey has been playing better than barasic this season.

Are you kidding unbeliever? How many good deliveries can you count from tav this season? Folk go on about hos assists but he's going to get some when he throws 20 to 30 hopeful crosses into the box every game. Patterson put a few great balls in sun, his cross for roofes goal was a peach, flahed a couple of low ones across goal as well should have been converted. Far better variety from patrerson than the lump over everyone's head from tav so far this season.
