Not entirely rangers related but here goes.

World class managers have tried and failed to fill Ferguson's shoes as Manchester United manager.

Many class managers have failed in jobs for example Walter at Everton.

These failings don't seem to make other managers lose there class so I will stick up for my compatriot Ole Gunnar Solskjær.

He was very successful with Molde on a shoestring budget and unfortunately for him it hasn't worked out but imo I think he could go elsewhere and be a real success.

Ole has been a great servant to Man Utd but realistically Pep, Klopp, and Tuchel are world class managers currently plying their trade in the EPL.
Do you see Man Utd appointing a new manager before the end of the season?

That's the problem he done well with molde in a low key league with low key players who would have probably had massive respect for him and his authority.
Now he's managing one of the biggest sides in the world in the biggest league in the world managing players with massive egos, that's where he comes up short IMO.
Nice guys finish last so to speak.

Agreed jzer they bring in players who egos are massive it’s not to bad if you have 1/ 2 in a team but 5/ 6 you have a relly big problem then you have the likes of ronaldo coming in basicly trying to be manager n telling him what to do 😂 he should of made him play with the youth team to put him in his place.

Ogs has been flung under a bus by players same as they done with Jose.

Shouldn't have got the job and surrounded by egos
He's on a hiding to nothing and he doesn't deserve that.

I feel for Solskjær. He is at a Team that has an inflated opinion of their own importance, a bit like a number of their players. The result against Liverpool says more about the players than anything else. Sir Alex was a great manager for them but then he would have been exceptional at any Club.

The problem is there are too many stars who don't want to work hard for the team. The stats show they run the least in the PL, they need to work harder without the ball, they don't have that type of player so they will finish outside the top 4, they will need to probably score 2 goals every game to get a result.
