Anyone watched much of GVB’s team while he managed Feyenoord? Heard and read few times that only downside is he’s not had a plan b if games not going his way, of true hopefully time out the game has gave him new ideas as it’s been our downfall the last 4 years through warbs Pedro and the latest Gerrard if he’s appointed the teams we play in Scotland come with 1 game plan and that’s not to leave there own half more than 4 times in a game😂 just wondering if anyone had seen his past games as manager!

Well, that would be the same philosophy as Gerrard, no plan B and leave the substitutions far to late. I'm sure GVB is a step up to Gerrard. GVB has a huge advantage, he played in Scotland with the famous and knows what Rangers are about. Gerrard didn't. That's of course if GVB gets the job.

SG was on 2 million a year here with no plan B

I think the time GVB has spent around Man City and Pep will hopefully have given him a few ideas.

God sake guys, gio's not even appointed our manager yet and he's getting criticised👎If it is gio who gets the gig as our new manager give the guy time and your backing and wait and see how things unfold🤔.

Bluebell, I've read he prefers the dynamic 4-3-3 formation with the 4-2-3-1 his next. He has also tried 5-3-2 and 3-5-2 in other games depending on the opponents so I think he is willing to experiment, not like Gerrard and adapt his tactics to the opponent which for me is a breath of fresh air.

SGL that Wasn’t criticising him I am asking as I read about some his management style in the daily rebel and if appointed was curious to no if the plan b bit was correct, as this has been the case for so long with past managers now as mouldy boots said having a plan b and seeing it implemented in games would be a breath of fresh air. No matter who the manager is they will have my backing while they manage our great club. Good to see Mcciness saying he would love the job he turned down think he knows he will go to Stevenage or something and be stuck down there for years to come.
