Not convinced the boy is up to it coop, maybe he will improve now, constantly changing the team isn’t good d for new players to integrate into their environment and blend in, he hasn’t really had a chance to do that yet, jurors out.

It's a difficult one, SGL.
We're hoping Gio gets the best out of the full squad.
Bacuna certainly showed what he was capable of in the 4-2 victory against Ross County. But the problem with a demanding club like Rangers is that you are only as good as your last game.
Also difficult to get a run in the team in the middle when you are up against Jack, Davis, Kamara, Aribo etc.
And at Rangers you need to be able to turn it on when called upon whether starting a game or coming on as a sub.

Hopefully Gio gets us playing with pace and directness and get our ST scoring goals. This tippy tappy infront of teams is a bore. Get teams playing on the back foot with direct attacking play and plenty pace in behind.

I posted this on the discussion page but cjnovo hits the nail on the head, gerrards 433 is possession based playing infront of teams wheras gio's 433 is direct attacking play. Two very different styles but gio's style could be much more suited to fredo but may not suit the likes of aribo or lundstrum.

Will be interesting to see Paul. Not only his middle three but his front 3. It’s exciting to see what he does and which players will flourish under Gio. I’d like to see Alfie banging the goals in again and perhaps not dropping deep so often. I personally think Alfie’s link up play with the wide players is superb.

No, apparently 4-4-2 is back out of fashion because Gio plays this "new guy" formation of 4-3-3 that none of us have heard of before 🤔🤭🤔
Looking forward to seeing it in action with the players he has at his disposal.
