Totally agree. Was talking to a guy from Ayr, reckons he has been offered massive signing on fee and 20 k a week by couple top six England clubs.
Signed a significant boot deal with Adidas last week and has a new big boy agent.

I said a while ago about Wilson going to Man City, that's what i heard as the boy is from Ayr, hope we can get him signed by all accounts better than Gilmour.

We've had strikers at that age before, scoring 60-70 goals a season and never making it with us. I've seen kids go south for big wages only to finish up at Scunthorpe or such like. By all means sign the boy and try to help him make it to the top, but if his demands are outwith our range, then so be it. It's always a gamble at that age. Some are all the player they will ever be at 16, some develop late, it's the coaches' experience in predicting these things that's important.
