Excellent result and performance with Morelos back to his old self. Perhaps the SG saga of him planning to leave did drag on and affect the morale of players. SG leaving could end up being the best thing that could have happened for the team. Some potentially tough opponents in the play-off, including maybe AC Milan and Borussia Dortmund. Great start for GVB.

I thought Kent looked massively improved and more hungry than I've seen off him all season. He faded out the game in 2nd half so subbing him was right choice but fair play to him 👏. Alfie pulled his socks up and got stuck in like we know he can. Kamara was immense, only word to describe him last night. Thought aribo played well in that number 10 role. If only he had his shooting boots on 😅. Bassey was, for me, MOTM. Thought the boy done excellent. And then there's the old team. Mcgregor. just Wow! He showed us last night he has still got a bit left in the tank. Thought Davis started the game off slow but grew into the game. My only thing from last night was, I thought hagi looked nervous for some reason. Anyway, last 32. Bring on whoever 🔴⚪🔵.
