Considering it's only been a few days Gio and Roy have been working with the players, just think what they can achieve when they actually get down to work!? What a difference!
As I have said, and a few others on here, these players have always had the ability, but for some reason, it wasn't working. This title winning team of ours doesn't suddenly become a poor team, there was obviously something else going on. How can a team that was so poor on Sunday, and struggled all season, all of a sudden look like a different side all together last night? It's no coincidence!
Now, time for me to put my tin hat on. As you know, I haven't been one of the Gerrard knockers who have had a real go at him since he left. I will always be grateful for him securing us 55 and stopping the tims getting the 10, that's a given. But, here it is! Was Gerrard to blame for us going off the boil? Was there a fall out between him and some players? Was his heart not in it from the start of the season, and this was reflected in the players application? Or am I over thinking this?
Anyway, superb last night, and it's onwards and upwards. 👏 🇬🇧 👍.

Clearly something wasn’t right, we may never know for sure what it was but the fact of the matter is Alfie ran more last night than he has all season for SG. Gio played him in his correct position (in the box) and he scored 2 poachers goals. The team put body’s on the line last night for Gio. Excited for rest of the season now.

I hate to see strikers dropping deep to receive the ball, Morelos was far better positioned last night which resulted in 2 goals. So why could Gerrard not see this? Great all round performance last night, the same or possibly more on Sunday please.

We all Thank SG for changing the Club Structure, winning 55 and recovering our Rep in Europe.

We kind of expected change

We are however expecting/ wanting a new team in place ASAP we will not accept any interim or low level manager and Tav and the Senior players will be talking to the Chairmen and Stuart today.

No idea how much truth there is in this but sounds about right.

Bronckhurst and nakaay both speak spanish, can only be good fiormorelos judging by his performance last night - he was played in a strikers position scored 2 and had a smile on his face at the end if the match, it was not right between him and gerrard for a long time and the way the players played last night seems they were happy to see the back of him - hopefully we are getting back in track, get a few good performances in the next few matches ready to put the ange mob back in their box 🇬🇧🇬🇧.
