Lets talk Aribo. No slagging off just opinions folks. i'm not picking on him just looking at ways he could step up to the next level. I watch every game so I've seen Aribo many times. His quality is there fall all to see, his touch, close control and running power are fantastic. he's only scored a couple of goals this year and on Thur night playing in the attacking 3 could of got a hatrick. At 6 2 he should be better in the air also doesn't win many 1 on 1 in air battles in midfield if you watch closely. So I would have big Roy Mackay work on him if he can improve in these areas he will add to his many talents. Just looking for football folks/ coaches out there with a professional eye that can see where he can improve as obviously i'm no more than avid fan.

TJBB, I think strikers/ goalscorers are instinctive and look immediately for the goals.
Someone who has come through years of Academy work being coached as a provider rather than a goalscorer, is 99 times out of 100 looking to make a pass.
Hard to coach that out of someone these days. However as you say, if he is been given a more forward role Mackay will work on him.
For me he should be scoring 10-15 a season.

I think he's got great feet and is a very intelligent player but lacks physical ability. Still think he's worth holding on to mind you unless we get a bid of 10-15m.

Aribo is a wonderful talent who should always be looking to improve.
Same as all our players.
Especially with the arrival of new coaches with new ideas.

Sometimes think he holds onto the ball to long and slows us down.

I honestly think he’s outstanding and will play in the EPL. If I was to give him some feedback (and I’m not in any way qualified to do so) it was be for him to be more direct a times. I feel he always looks to slow down the game and retain possession, things which are important during certain points of the game but at others he could just beat a guy and shot. Honestly, he’s a massive asset in my opinion.

I just hope we get the money we deserve John, I’m not sure on his contract situation?

He's one of the players that's done well this season.

Not only play in it, I think he could really excel in that company. The slower pace and more time on ball would suit him to a T.

Dado contract up May 23. We can’t do a Goldston and let it run down. I’d hope for 10 million and a sell on clause.

Yeah agreed John, I’s like to keep him to the summer but I guess we’ll see if a big bid comes in during the January window.

John problem is some people on here will be expecting 20/ 30 million.

Agree storm, last Sunday we did not have a player worth more than 5 million according to many.
