Maybe I'm just a sore loser when we concede goals 'cause I feel we should no need a goalie unless for penalties shootouts, it's the defence job to stop the attempts on goal.

John I think mcglaughlan should and will start however I know your good self and others are comfortable with mcglaughlan being no 1 choice and I totally respect that however I’d like an upgrade on our goalkeeper
McGregor in obvious decline in my opinion and I don’t think mcglaughlan is the answer.

Bgate I wanted a keeper signed but we haven’t done that because McGregor didn’t retire I think he should have but it’s a toss up between these days both have faults.

Why are so many of our fans against McLaughlin, McGregor is a good shot stopper, no doubt, but, JM has more to his game, he controls his area for a start, and this takes pressure off our defenders, how many goals did we lose last season because Allan didn't come for a cross.

McGregor gets the plaudits because of his spectacular saves but I’d be interested to see stats on how many save he is forced to make compared to McLaughlin.

IMO McLaughlin controls the box better by coming out and taking the ball in the air and is better with his feet ~ therefore reducing the number of shooting chances that are created by the opposition.

Can’t think of any keeper within a sensible price range that has it all so we have to make choices.

For me, McLaughlin is a worthy no 1.
