Apologies for the negativity of posts, however this is the most downhearted I've felt in years regarding the squad (obviously not speaking of financial mess) . Even being down the leagues I felt positive about chance of a fresh start. Everyone could clearly see our defence was the biggest issue needing sorted and we're still saying we need wide players and a st despite those we've made. Manager doesn't appear to have a clear strategy after 9 months to plan and we've been humiliated again just over a year after joy of a euro final. Perhaps it's just the effects of years of neglect that's taken it's toll and I hope to be proved badly wrong in the weeks ahead. We'll see.

I see Barasic will be okay for Sunday. I thought he'd be out for a couple of months after the extent of that 'injury' against PSV.

Maybe he will be fit on Sunday as he did the sensible thing and didn't make it worse on the night?
