So I hadn't seen the Goldson interview. I must be seeing something different to everyone else. Boy was clearly upset and extremely honest. I actually applaud his honesty. To me he was angry and said it how it is. Perhaps some of his team mates be less than happy but all of them need to wake up and quickly. On the plus side, we've lost one league game in over 50 games I think?

Allthefives, I don't disagree. For me a lot of the problems stem from the fact that our team lacks leadership and has done for many years. Tavernier is not and never will be a Leader. Problem is that our new signings this summer were poor, we brought in players have never won anything and in the case of Lundstrum, someone that has always been fighting relegation and there isn't a leader in the squad other than Davis who is now at the end of his career.

How can the game be over at half-time? The guy is a rocket. Give yourself a shake. Man up and be counted. Liverpool 0 AC Milan 3 comes to mind in a Champions League Final. Was that game over? 45 mins is a life time in football. Leagues have been won and lost in 45 mins. Negri scored 5 i think in 90 mins. Tav is never a captain. The blood sweat and tears you mention doesn't exist in our team and probably hasn't for a long long time. Halliday maybe had it but didn't have the talent to back it up. If you all think the interview is the biggest problem then so be it. His words maybe could have been better but he said exactly what I was thinking at half time. Not a chance were getting back into this. I'd bet money the toys were out the pram in the dressing room at half time and captain quiet did nowt. Blame your captain as he should summon blood and guts response.

I think he confirmed he's not a true leader. I can't imagine some of our previous captains (Gough, Bazza, or even big Lee McCulloch) rolling over in a semi final at HT because we are down by 2 goals. Wrong mindset and from what I read a lot of his interview sounded like finger pointing. When he goes our gain will be another clubs loss. 2 goals is absolutely nothing especially when you're league leaders and the most successful club in football history. Pathetic from Goldson.

Change of topic. Does anyone on here also follow what used to be Junior football and is now the West of Scotland Football League. My wee local team recently knocked Stranraer out the Scottish Cup. There's loads of teams that imo can easily compete with Football league teams and indeed have bigger crowds and greater potential. Now they have a route to the SFL we may see some big changes over the next decade. Teams like Auchinleck, Pollock, Kilwinning, Irvine Meadow, Darvel and loads more could step up. Should Scottish football embrace this potential and increase our league structure? What do you think?

Some of these clubs like Auchinleck don't want to be professional as it would effect their gate money. They are happy being the Kings of the league and going to the 4th tier of Scottish football takes it away from them.

There’s many junior teams could compete in better leagues but I doubt they want too, as financial transparency is required. I’m not saying there’s anything untoward happening but at junior level you can get away with deals being a little bit more juicy so to speak.

I'm sure a lot of the East junior teams jumped ship - Boness, Kelty, Binnyrigg - first and that's why they are playing against Rangers B team
Also I'm sure when it was first mooted mist of the West junior sides refused and stayed loyal to the juniors.

I remember that hill on the pitch at Bellsdale Park in Beith, you could've ski'd down it in the Winter. I remember a Scottish Cup Tie many years ago, Arthur Montford and Scotsport filmed the game against Fauldhouse United as the Senior game they had planned was cancelled due to the weather, I' sure that was the 1st Junior game to be televised.
