Just read that SG is now outing polster for not taking one for the team. Aye very good. have a look in the mirror.

1.) 13 Mar 2020 09:36:19
and why not he should have done, running around like a headless chicken, saying that there was a couple of abysmal performances out there last night, some drastic changes need addressing at the end of the season.

2.) 13 Mar 2020 10:15:14
Truebluesotrue the reason managers don't usualy do that is because it should be done behind closed doors instead of sg through them under the bus all the time, polsters confidence now probley low which is not needed when confidence is aready very low.

3.) 13 Mar 2020 11:06:22
100% agree with Gerrard, that last goal has changed our chances massively.

4.) 13 Mar 2020 11:24:21
Remember when he did the same thing about Tavernier v Young Boys?

Oh, wait a minute, he doesn't do that with his clique.

5.) 13 Mar 2020 11:25:41
No wonder this team doesn't play for Gerrard. He slates them all the time. He's not a good man manager or tactician.

If even 4lads are failing to back him you know the game is up.

6.) 13 Mar 2020 12:11:22
Have to agree that comments and the reprimanding of individual players should be behind closed doors. (unless it is to praise them of course) .

How would Stevie feel if D. King publicly announced that Stevie had his backing but up till now his recent performance has been absolutely abysmal and is now getting a bit sick o him.

I know if my gaffer told me I am the worse employee on his books then asked me to do him a favour and turn out an item for him personally, I know what I would reply.

7.) 13 Mar 2020 12:35:56
Let’s be honest. Gerrard is right!

He should have brought him down! Arfield and Kent both done it earlier on game, I don’t see anyone giving them a hard time for getting booked!

8.) 13 Mar 2020 13:56:45
Ok he should have took a booking but he isn't helped at back post when he has 2 players to choose from cause goldson has had to do midfields job closing down at the edge of the box. No top manager would do this to a player in polster position. And SG wouldn't through tav or goldson under the bus like that.

9.) 13 Mar 2020 14:43:39
Well out of order. Why does he back goldson week in week out. Look at his hamilton blunder. Worst yet. What gerrard say. he's strong character.

10.) 13 Mar 2020 16:12:49
dont think polster really could do much about it, guy was gone. and i'm not comfortable with our manager slagging the guy off for that in the press, or for that matter demanding in public that our players "take one for the team"

with that suit comes responsibilities. gerrard isn't living up to them at moment.

11.) 13 Mar 2020 16:17:45
slaughter players in dressing room yes but keep it in house don’t hang them out to dry for scumbag mhedia

also if you’re going to dig folk out, be consistent. he’s done it to niko polster and others but tav goldson cple others also at fault for loosing big goals but they are bulletproof

call it what you want - it’s double standards.

12.) 13 Mar 2020 19:08:50
Get a grip of yourselves. Absolute sweetie wives. Yous all wanted poulster in instead of Tav. He was poor at the weekend and had a massive part to play in their 3rd. The difference between him and Tav is night and day. Saying gerrard never criticises his favourites is a bit hypocritical as you lot constantly blame the players you don’t like for every single mistake or poor performance.

13.) 13 Mar 2020 20:02:51
eezyeez, catch yourself on we were never in that game it was boys against men 😡😡😡😡😡😡.

14.) 13 Mar 2020 22:34:54
@EverySaturday It's not about us, it's about Gerrard. He's the manager, not us. What he says about his players matters a damn more than what we do.

15.) 14 Mar 2020 10:22:04
I'm not a fan of the chucking players under the bus. I watched sven Goran eriksen on monday in the sky studio before the leicester game talking about the same subject. Saying he would never.

16.) 14 Mar 2020 10:25:42
Sorry hit button early. Basically said stuff like that he would bring player into his office or have s eord in dressing room sfter gsme. He would never do it to media as it has s detrimental effect on players confidence and performsnce.

17.) 14 Mar 2020 16:37:45
Well for someone who thinks it matters not a jot what they have to say, you always have a lot to say for yourself. More often than not moaning and complaining or is you’re posts all James Tavernier’s fault?

13 Jan 2020 19:55:32
We are supposed to have offered Tyrese Campbell a long term deal?

Anyone hear anything?

1.) 14 Jan 2020 10:47:27
Well he is a free agent in the summer so can sign on a bosman i have heard that both us and celtic have offered the player a deal.

2.) 14 Jan 2020 13:18:40
appears to be a decent prospect, and maybe more than decent. hopefully he will sign up, seeing how well joe aribo has done.

3.) 14 Jan 2020 16:17:47
Struth have heard he has bags of potential but extremely lazy. This from Stoke ST holder.

25 Dec 2019 23:59:38
Reading (dunno if its it's TRUE) we have been in contact with Olivier Giroud? Please no.

1.) 26 Dec 2019 09:27:52
Please no? You having some sort of a laugh mate?

2.) 26 Dec 2019 09:56:17
He would be an incredible signing!

3.) 26 Dec 2019 10:41:43
This story was dong some rounds couple of weeks ago, did not post as I feel absolutely not a chance. Heard it from same source who said we wanted foden which is not happening.
My source believes we will make one major loan signing in line with Defoe signing of last year.

4.) 26 Dec 2019 10:41:52
If he's willing to drop 90k a week then its possible. also would he be happy 3rd choice striker haha.

5.) 26 Dec 2019 12:21:25
Giroud would tear through this league like wet tissue paper. Please no is the daftest comment ever.

6.) 26 Dec 2019 13:23:03
There is not a chance he will be moving to Scotland. He wants to be in the french team at the euros.

7.) 26 Dec 2019 14:42:59
Sorry guys. he's slower than a week in the jail and would demand a
HUGE salary. What is actually wrong with some people on here? Man we need saleable assets not a journeyman. Come on guys get a grip.

8.) 26 Dec 2019 14:48:12
@ Wagman how is it the daftest comment ever?

@C of Ibrox. Are you having a laugh? he's 33. We already have Defoe.

9.) 26 Dec 2019 15:54:12
Dont think it's a daft comment. I wouldn't want him either. We only play eith one striker why would we want to sign a striker who doesn't score?

10.) 26 Dec 2019 15:57:31
He would be some signing that's for sure.

11.) 26 Dec 2019 17:40:52
And drop Morelos? Or Morelos leaves and play either a 33 or 34/ 35 old striker?

12.) 27 Dec 2019 05:53:01
Well I think it’s a daft comment 33 or not we want to stop them 9 in a row and he would score goals up here even if it’s only for 6 month loan.

13.) 27 Dec 2019 07:33:25
Do we really need to debate if we need a World Cup winner or not? Herewego55, he has scored plenty and all at the highest level (not against Celtic tho lol) .

14.) 27 Dec 2019 09:47:47
Do you think he fits our system better than morelos? doesn't matter if he was a world cup winner, we've had flops before eho hsvr won world cups, doesn't mean he will be a success! doesn't have the legs to play in our system and woulfnt get s gsme in front of morelos.

15.) 27 Dec 2019 10:34:25
He's big and strong with a style of play that is similar to Morelos. A player like him won't be thinking 2nd or 3rd place striker. He would fancy his chances of being number 1. What if Morelos or Defoe gets injured? I honestly think we will sign a striker in January. Won't be him tho unfortunately. It's a non starter and that's from my big source that is close to the first team, Stevie Ger!

16.) 27 Dec 2019 13:39:53
That the thing he doesn't for our system. We need youth, not someone that age. Guys our long term plan has got to buy players cheap and sell them on for more.

17.) 27 Dec 2019 15:14:11
We're not interested in giroud, SG says so. Not so sure about not signing someone because they're too old. Davis, Defoe? If someone can improve the team/ squad I don't think age matters that much.

18.) 27 Dec 2019 16:11:35
good in the air with all the crosses we get plus think it would only be to end of season loan not high wages remember Chelsea ban lifted so they will buy and he needs to pay. maybe buff going to chelsea.

19.) 28 Dec 2019 16:48:19
So would some on here be happy if morelos went in jan n we got giroud? Bye bye lesgue if that was to happen🤷‍♂️.

24 May 2019 23:06:23
Greg Stewart apparently signed a 2 year deal. Useful addition I guess.

1.) 25 May 2019 02:22:50
Baffling addition more like nowhere near good enough even as a sqoad player Gerrard spoke of quality over quantity this summer and the sign8ngs have been underwhelming to put it mildly even players we are linked with are not going to be game changers need to buck our ideas up drastically if we are to challenge.

2.) 25 May 2019 07:13:26
Mate we play in Scotland no Spain. Who do you want to attract? We can't spend lots of money on big singings. It's going to be Loan deals or free transfers. If we do spend it will be a couple of mil tops. That's where we are I'm afraid.

3.) 25 May 2019 08:03:11
Nothing like giving players a chance to prove themselves.

4.) 25 May 2019 08:59:00
Who do you think we should be signing stiv65?

5.) 25 May 2019 09:22:56
Totally agreed, don’t see the point signing stewart pointless and useless signing even on a free.

6.) 25 May 2019 09:31:01
You mean the same greg stewart that has caused us all sorts of problems stiv65? Check out our record against aberdeen and killie this season👍. Granted he won't be an immediate first 11 pick but he'll be a very useful squad player, much better than our current squad players and a proven spl player👍.

7.) 25 May 2019 10:23:40
So is Jones. Loan him back to Killie.

8.) 25 May 2019 10:49:46
Don't usually disagree with u coldo but I do this one. I don't get the Stewart signing he's not better than candeais etc. We should only be using the budget this year on players to improve the starting 11. This means the guys pused out end up filling the squad and the rest of the deadwood go out the door.

9.) 25 May 2019 11:36:46
Here is a little stat that may change your minds re G Stewart. This season when Greg Stewart has played Centre Forward on 14 occasions he has 8 goals and 5 assits. Aberdeen are playing the boy out in the wing, where he is not effective. Now compare that to our other squad striker big lafferty.

10.) 25 May 2019 12:09:50
Most of us on here do realise we need a new left back. I've got no doubt, just like i've said before that barisic is talented, but lacks the heart, for the endeavour of our league. The 2 left backs i think we should go for are max lowe of derby county, currently on loan at the sheep, or kilmarnock left back greg taylor. what's our thoughts on this,
fellow bears?

11.) 25 May 2019 12:09:51
Keep saying guys wait till window opens that’s when to judge never know might be another Kamara amongst the frees.

12.) 25 May 2019 12:11:13
FB I would agree that in an ideal world we should bring in players that improve the starting 11 and then those pushed out make up the squad. But we don't have the cash to do that. Yes we can go and get 3 or 4 for the starting 11 but we need a squad and players like stewart jones hastie are better squad players than what we currently have👍.

13.) 25 May 2019 12:34:08
Stewart will prove his worth. Definitely better than Lafferty. Every time he played he gave us problems so cut the guy some slack.

Regarding Barasic. He looked really good for Oesek (spelling) but looks out his depth at Rangers. He seems to switch off in games and that's an issue. Personally I would sell him as well as Grezda.

14.) 25 May 2019 12:41:27
Stewart is a Rangers Supporter and with a full pre season under his belt and at a level of fitness that Rangers demand I predict he will be a player that can unlock difficult Scottish defences, Me personally was a bit nervous when he was against us he more often than not beat his man and got his cross in or shot away. He is also very experienced. He comes across as the cheeky chappy type and will add to the dressing room. They are building a team that live and breath Rangers and will empty the tank as SG would say every time they put the top on. Not like the over paid junk the other side of town.

15.) 25 May 2019 13:37:39
Stiv65, ever thought it possible that we can't sign anything other than frees right now for one simple reason - the transfer window isn't even open yet? The guys we've signed will help make up a squad of 25-26, of which about 18 are already in place. That means there are more to come and these will be the players we all know we need.

16.) 25 May 2019 15:15:57
Give the guy a chance to bed in then bet he fly's off the blocs. Gerrard sees something in him.

17.) 25 May 2019 15:39:01
Here's a stat, Lawrence Shankand is a free agent and has scored 50 goals in 61 games. **** Greg Stewart, this lad is the best striker in Scotland.

18.) 25 May 2019 15:49:00
but shanks has never scored in spl.

some people.

19.) 25 May 2019 15:56:42
Daisy yore any team can buy any player at any time they just need to wait till window to register the player.

20.) 25 May 2019 17:45:48
Greg Stewart is worth a punt Two year deal for FREE Certainly can be a useful addition as a squad player Just needs toget more goals to his game and play consistently! Gerrard can get the best of this lad and what better he is a die hard Rangers player!

I can see Gerrard is going to go for a couple of quality players that will be first team. players but we also need to go for depth in the squad! Rangers will be getting rid of at least 7 players this year!

21.) 25 May 2019 18:53:08
Greg Stewart is a good signing on a free and will do a job when called upon in certain games and has proved he can in the SPL.

22.) 25 May 2019 18:57:48
We mostly all agree a new left back
That can play domestically is essential
Back up center back is a must
I would like to see, a, right back that can defend not tav
A captain that steps up every game
A striker who can score and stay on the field for ninety minutes
Offload all the dead wood.

23.) 26 May 2019 12:10:23
I think his signings so far have been positive.
Young players who know the league and have been playing well last season for worse teams.
Jones has scored a few against Celtic and Rangers and is a better impact player than Middleton.
Stewart is good in the 10 and is great back up for Arfield with double figures goals and assists last season in the league.
Hastie has explosive turn of pace and is a good finisher, he either looks the part and is good addition in pre season or goes out on loan to Motherwell potentially and does damage against everyone else apart from us in league.
Davis proved his worth in final cpl of months and us another shrew acquisition.
These guys were all FREE or development fee signings with low risk attached.
Wait till the actual transfer window opens and see who we get I’m sure there’s another 2-3 good signings to follow and i'm positive about who they might be.

24.) 26 May 2019 12:47:39
I keep hearing things like oh who do I want us to sign then and it's SPL we play in and not Spain if that is attitude amount our fans who think Greg Stewart is the answer then it shows how much mediocrity some of our fans are willing to accept I'm not saying we can spend millions and millions but I expect a better calibre of player than Greg Stewart and Jake Hastie np disrespect to those players but we need game changers or we will never seriously challenge even players we are being linked with is very underwhelming ie boy from Oldham John Souter forget about how he they might become in future it's about here and now to stop other lot winning 10 in a row our recruitment needs to be lot better because for every Kamara and Ryan Kent there's been Grezda Barisic McCauley so we need to get quality in not mediocre players who will just fill a squad number.

07 Jul 2020 22:34:31
I see Stoke are supposedly in for Turnbull of Motherwell. Personally i'd have him any day over Lewis Ferguson.

Thoughts Bears?

1.) 07 Jul 2020 22:59:24
He's a different style of midfielder to what lewis ferguson is As1974!

2.) 08 Jul 2020 00:24:05
Meaning what?

3.) 08 Jul 2020 06:52:35
Meaning if you signed david turnbull it wouldn't mean we couldn't/ shouldn't sign lewis ferguson, as like i said they're both different types of midfielders, so having him anyday over ferguson wouldn't come into it mate. Hope that clears it up for you and what i was meaning 🤔.

4.) 08 Jul 2020 11:27:30
Well I'd imagine we wouldn't sign both so my point BEING I would sign Turnbull before Ferguson any day of the week. That clear it up?

5.) 08 Jul 2020 11:54:21
As 1978

Are you going to play turnball a head of Hagi I can’t believe I am saying this but SGL is 100% correct 2 different players and positions altogether.

6.) 08 Jul 2020 12:03:47
Turnbull would be an excellent signing. Far better than docherty.

7.) 08 Jul 2020 12:45:57
KJ its AS1974.

Hagi hasn't proved himself yet so why not?
Turnbull has proved he can cut it in our league. I think he's a great wee player who's Scottish and a Bluenose.
I don't rate Ferguson. People are getting caught up with the name and I wouldn't buy anything from they SS.

8.) 08 Jul 2020 13:00:07
As1974,i work beside one of the motherwell youth coaches and not that this matters, david turnbull ain't a bluenose, he's a motherwell fan! I totally agree with KJA9 why are us 2 agreeing mate? 😂, hagi is for me a far better player than turnbull and turnbull does like to play roughly where hagi does. So that's why imo anyway, we don't need to go for turnbull and use our budget in much other needed areas of our team!

9.) 08 Jul 2020 16:23:00
Coops, who’s his big team?

10.) 08 Jul 2020 17:00:23
I've only been told he's a motherwell supporter bankie! Obviously you think turnbull supports another team? 🤔 Certainly not the info i've been given mate!

06 Jul 2020 10:32:06
Well lads the season starts in little over 4 weeks. Its simple. SG wins the league and becomes a Rangers legend. If not his time is up. He won't get another crack.

1.) 06 Jul 2020 12:45:06
As1974 I agree with you this has to be last chance saloon, let's not forget our brothers across the sea want to be first to 55 also so it is imperative that we win.

12 Mar 2020 21:51:14
Pretty much what I expected.

Kamara, davis and Aribo should not be near our team.

On Sun we must start Hagi and Kamberi.

Morelos is overweight, slow and not interested. Needs benched.

I'd also play JJ on Sunday and drop Kent.

The pen decision was terrible. They are a good side but we are poor. Very poor.

1.) 12 Mar 2020 21:55:33
Kamberi is bang average and can’t hold the ball up

We have 4 centre half’s who are all as bad as each other and zero creativity outside of Kent who is still flattering to deceive and Hagi who does not have the pace and why he failed in Italy and came from Belgian league

Unfortunately we don’t have too much going for us.

2.) 12 Mar 2020 21:59:23
Was a stonewall penalty, not even a shred of doubt 👍ksmara was our best player till he went off, far more like it from him. Sgree with davis, wee mans legs are gone now.

3.) 12 Mar 2020 22:00:17
I thought we did well in the second half against a 100m team. Also thought Kamara played well, was calm and assured. Kamberi amd Hagi against the tims and we'll win.

4.) 12 Mar 2020 22:02:42
Well done for getting us this far. We've punched above our weight the whole tournament.

5.) 12 Mar 2020 22:18:58
As1974 Not s true assessment! This team have spent over 100m over two seasons

FYI The Germanteams in all European competitions have done better than any other country inc. Spain, England and Italy

Bayern have destroyed both Chelsea and Tottenham When I say destroyed that's an understatement and then you have RB Leipzig beating Totteham easily

Baring in mind Bayer Leverkusen beat both Dortmund and Atletico Madrid Ih and did the latter not just put out Liverpool the cup holders and arguably the best club team in the world

Done great to get into last 16
We will improve for next year We will weed out some of the players!

6.) 12 Mar 2020 22:32:18
I couldn't believe I was watching a Rangers team in that 1st half, no interest, 3rd to every ball, yes, were that slow, no invention, couldn't pass a ball, and so on. SG must freshen that team up for Sunday, Kamberi must start ahead of Morelos, who is so far off the pace at this time, he's in Asda Govan, when he should be in the Box.

On Sunday, start with Kamberi, Jones and Haji, and please play Kent on the Right side of the pitch, he was much better in the 2nd half in that position similar to Ross County. As for the 2nd leg next week, time to maybe play as above, and put a couple of our boys on the bench, and maybe get them on for some game time if possible.

7.) 12 Mar 2020 22:36:06
100m one player seeker. hsvertz will go for about that in the summer. Punching to get this far. Wont matter anyway next week eont get played, will cancelled tuesday.

8.) 12 Mar 2020 23:01:37
Jaws, herewego55 and seeker. Great to see some sensible posts on here. We were beaten by the better team and i'm glad at least you guys seen what I did. Kamara did well tonight and just because he is an easy target just now some people don't give credit where it is due. Kamberi held the ball uo well when he came on. Not sure we were watching the same game gharrower.

We've punched above our weight so far in this tournament and I think its been a job well done. No shame in being beaten by a team like that.

9.) 12 Mar 2020 23:31:21
Kamara was more than decent tonight. Showed how much we need Jack in midfield. Good to see young Edmundson get his goal, should do his confidence and development the world of good.

10.) 12 Mar 2020 23:48:40
How can people say Morelos is not interested he held the ball up well tonight it’s not his fault if he gets no service Davis was poor Kent shadow of the player he was.

11.) 13 Mar 2020 05:18:52
Morelos held the ball up well? Is that the level we are at? He looks 5 yards slow. One goal since the turn of the year. There no way I'd play him on Sunday. Or Kent. I know last night we played better opposition but there's no fight in that team. Wtf has happened to Davis? Looks like a rabbit caught in the headlights. Kamberi, Jones and Hagi must start upfront on Sunday. I know we won't change formation. Would also bring in youth in that MF.

06 Mar 2020 18:31:51
I honestly still can't believe that people want SG as our manager.
If it was anyone else he'd be gone.

Positives-improved in Europe

Negatives. Domestic Performances and results recently been shocking, 95% of signings are woeful, hasn't a clue about tactics and won't give people a chance. Especially younger guys and he hasn't won anything.

Now that's facts not just my opinion.

So please can anyone give me a valid reason why he should stay?

1.) 06 Mar 2020 18:50:51
But he's Stevie G.

2.) 06 Mar 2020 18:44:14
People might not be able to give you a valid reason, but honestly you don't have to post the same thing on here everyday. Everyone knows your views on the manager, but we don't need it on a daily basis. I'm bored coming on to read the exact same thing, 7 days a week.

3.) 06 Mar 2020 18:47:28
I've just posted that I have been as fed up as the next guy with SG, but I reckon that with his history, experience and standing in the game, this could really be his "beginning" as a manager. This has been a real wake up for him and those around him, sometimes that's the best way to regroup and start afresh. We'll know by Sunday teatime I guess.

4.) 06 Mar 2020 19:58:06
@Orangetinetec I don't post the same thing on here every day. I asked the question. It's clear you can't answer. Time to take you orangetinted specs off and face facts.

@bimotable. This will be a real wake up? Haha man. He will put out the same team on Sunday with Tav as captain and he's hoping for a different outcome.

5.) 06 Mar 2020 19:58:46
Im an SG fan. Unashamedly! I can 100% assure everyone that says that "if it was anyone else he would be gone" that I don't give a monkeys about his previous standing in the game. I concentrate on the fact that he has improved us. End of story. No matter what way you look at it he has improved us.

6.) 06 Mar 2020 19:59:07
As1974 we get it Every days the same no doubt he’s made mistakes but our form pre break buys him time it’s 80% player issue how can Kent be pursued due to loan form was almost unanimous we get him £7M! Not Gerrards fault he’s been woeful he’s playing him where he was in his loan spell Helander is that his fault he got injured is it his fault the man child been banned 14 times so far this season!14 games without your top scorer did Gerrard cause Goldston to fail to clear his lines
Jack in and out injured managers fault? These are facts not opinions You always seem to try and twists things to suit your argument
Where he has been culpable is loyalty to certain players but listen you and the usual suspects will never ever change your opinions.

Because pre Dubai everything was going along great.
Narrowly beat in the League Cup by the Tims in a game we really should have won.
One point behind the Tims with a game in hand.
Last 32 of Europe for the first time in years.
Post Dubai?
Let down by numerous individual player error.
Into the last 16 of Europe for the first time in years.
Yes, tactically he's been caught out a couple of times.
But we don't have a God Given right to win every game. The Self Entitlement from some on here is embarrassing!
95% of your post is woeful, that's a fact not an opinion. 👍
So please can anyone give me a valid reason why you should keep on posting the same nonsense?
In Gerrard We Trust!

8.) 06 Mar 2020 21:00:17
@Moc bear. He has improved us. Let me tell you with the money he's spent yes he's improved us. a little but no where near as much as he should have. Means nothing. wining trophies improves us.

@Blue blue seas. I am twisting nothing! We have been woeful for months. Kent is no where near worth. 7m and we shouldn't be spending that one 1 player. The rest of your statements are excuses.

@lastly MrTupac. Narrowly beaten? That it? Pathetic. Yes I said he's done well in Europe but making Tav our captain and playing him week in week out is shocking. Without ElBuffalos goals we would be a lot worse off but now that's also stopped.

Until people realise that SG won't take us forward I am going to refrain from posting. Waste of time. If yous want to stick with a bunch of stubborn bottle merchants then be my guest.

9.) 06 Mar 2020 21:58:04
I think the issue here is poor signings. A more experienced manager would have put together a strong team with £20m at his disposal, a team suited to the Scottish game. Ejaria, Ojo, Barker, Jones, pollster, etc etc then we have the ageing players, defoe, Davis etc great players in their time but money would have been better spent on younger prospects with resale value rather than going all out for instant success which has backfired and not materialised. On reflection this has been a huge mistake and has put the club in a difficult position. Now one has to ask who is responsible for this.

10.) 07 Mar 2020 01:49:13
The muppet, that's exactly what happened mate, gerrard brought in players to win league playing football the way its played in england and europe, but scottish football is neither, scottish football is kick and run, no style not much skill, gerrard needs to heed that and bring in a handfull of scottish premier league player, players that because us problems,

1974 . last 16 of europa . there’s one reason.

Here is a question that I would like to ask.

Who was the last player to come out of our academy and went in to our first team and get a regular start?

1.) 01 Mar 2020 16:54:23
Lewis McLeod probably.

2.) 01 Mar 2020 17:02:17
As long time because none have been good enough.

3.) 01 Mar 2020 17:08:38
That's my point SGL. points having the Hummel Centre.

4.) 01 Mar 2020 17:21:35
So John your not saying not one player in that academy is good enough for our squad? Find it incredibly hard to believe.

5.) 01 Mar 2020 17:35:24
1974 u never said squad. Regukar start. mccrorie? Bar paterson is there anybody currently capable of taking anybodys place. Please don't say young coombes. Imagine him as a long striker. Would get ragdolled all over the country.

6.) 01 Mar 2020 17:37:13
difficult to blood youngsters when the fans want to win every game. it helps if you have a settled team that wins stuff.

7.) 01 Mar 2020 17:55:23
I think Kai Kennedy should at least be on the bench. He can come on be creative and I'm sure would show some passion. Also maybe even Mabude. Would good for them to be on the bench instead of Ojo or Stewart possibly. Even if they were to get 15-20 mins in a game.

8.) 01 Mar 2020 18:19:56
Paul it doesn't matter if its first team or squad our youth aren't getting a chance just like many more. I actually thought SG would have resigned today if I'm honest. He can't take the team any further imo.

9.) 01 Mar 2020 18:34:51
As yes a very sad indictment. I do believe going forward there are four or five who should make it. Kelly, Robbie mccrorie, maxwell Paterson mb, Kennedy.
We r very good 14-16 age group, but don’t know how the will develop.

@Ibrox Storm. Both great players? Not a chance.
McKenna is brutal. I do like LF but they will demand crazy money.

EB he's been poor, like a lot of them since Parkhead. If the reports are true that he's lost the dressing room then he should walk.

As much as I love Morelos and god knows where we would be without his goals but he will never get rid of that petulance. It keeps costing him in games. For example needless booking and getting suspended. The now he's trying to hard to score and starting to come on to the wing to get the ball. The other night against Braga he looked a yard short. I hope he gets his touch back soon as we need him big time!

DOIGER I think that's a great post. I said only a couple of days ago our academy is a waste of time and money. No wonder these guys want to leave. They don't get a chance. Who was the last player that came through our young ranks with any real potential that got a regular game? Barry Mckay maybe?

Thing is we don't promote within. When was the last player through or youth set up to the first team?
We can't keep buying. Its not the answer nor do we have the £££.
The manager I would TRY and get is Sean Dyce. (Very underrated) l Pie in the sky maybe but we can't go for these rookie managers anymore. We need someone that knows the game. I've always said that SG, for the time being is out his depth.

@Berkshire. Hand behind his back? What about Hagi? SG has had more money than any other manager in recent times. Problem with SG is he sticks with the same dross that underperformes. That will ultimately get you the sack. I'm not buying this "He won't get the bullet" stuff. If the fans turn then the board has to act. Other than a few great runs in Europe he's not done a very good job IMO. Gives guys a chance like Jones, Murphy, Doherty etc. We badly need another Forward, Creative and Solid DM and a RB. Change the captaincy for a start.
