Apparently theo Walcott on the radar a free agent
Would be a great addition.

1.) 04 Jun 2021 17:01:28
Theo walcott has signed a permanent deal with southampton Bandwarmy! I believe after his loan spell from everton finished at the end of the season there, a 2 year deal was given to him from southampton, on a permanent deal, as he was a free agent 🤔.

2.) 04 Jun 2021 17:06:29
Thought he was staying at Southampton.

3.) 04 Jun 2021 18:59:29
Tbh I think he’s vastly
Over rated he’s just fast. Bad final ball not a great
Scoring return or assists. I wouldn’t want him at rangers tbf bjt yes he signed a full time deal at Southampton anyway.

4.) 04 Jun 2021 19:29:59
I agree inweetrust over rated and a rubbish hair do seriously though Kevin nisbet should be signed if wee are signing a forward.

5.) 05 Jun 2021 04:44:38
💯 agree SW 👍🏼 Kenny Miller, Billy Dodds, ally
Mccoist, or nacho Novo, cannigia, latapy (to an extent) all came from Other spfl clubs and were a great
Success. Look at Ryan Jack also, big gough, davie Robertson. Andy goram and many more I've likely forgotten, his return of goals is great but I especially like his assists numbers and also I feel he puts in a real hard shift for the team. I don’t feel this is a shankland and Sykes I think this is a John mcginn moment and we will regret not putting our hands in our pocket if we don’t do it now. £3m is fair I’d pay th money and be done with it before he heads south or to celtic 👍🏼.

6.) 05 Jun 2021 04:46:22
Josh king would also be worth a look but perhaps his wages would out with our reach. He was released by Everton yesterday, route with £20m move to Man Utd last year.

7.) 05 Jun 2021 11:23:42
Not sure about Josh King. He is getting on a bit and if he was any good then Everton wouldn't have released him! I would rather see us spending money bringing in a young player from the lower English Leagues or signing Nisbet, (it certainly looks like we missed a good young player there) . We need more home grown talent in our ranks and in that respect Ferguson would be an obvious target for me, especially if we are to sell Kamara or Hagi since it is unlikely that either Arfield or Davis will be able to play every game next season.

8.) 05 Jun 2021 12:42:45
Arfield will likely play old firm matches and also back up kamara and aribo at times. Davo will play all of the important games being rested in cup games and lower league teams and prob Livingston. We need a suitable replacement though for Davis.

9.) 05 Jun 2021 17:29:07
Forgot about probably the best coming from a fellow pl club being kris boyd. footballing and goalscoring instance within 18 yarder must be up there with best in buisness. the rest of his game was crap tho.

Outside ibrox celebrating just about acceptable
Why go into city centre especially wi kids
C.V. rules n general common sense
Am I living on a different planet?

Bandwarmy

1.) 17 May 2021 07:34:45
Because there is a certain element of our support (if you can call them that) who are incapable of seeing the bigger picture. To class Saturday as celebrating was ridiculous - that was rioting in Scotland's biggest city on a Saturday afternoon/ evening, nothing more nothing less. My 14yr nephew was in town on Saturday with 2 pals (not connected to the "celebrations") and ended up being assaulted by some moron running about assaulting anyone that appeared to get in his way. Not to mention the forced closure of the hospitality businesses in and around George Square who lost thousands probably. But, these are the same people who hang on to orange walks - claiming it's "our day". Most of the clowns wouldn't even know the history behind the walks.

2.) 17 May 2021 09:08:44
You can't blame Rangers fans for the hospitality industry considering Glasgow has been placed back in level 3 restrictions. 🤦 This is because of the rising cases in PollockShields where the Indian variant is prevalent. An area the SNP government and others encouraged people to go to the other day to help stop a deportation of alleged illegal immigrants.
And how many SNP ministers or Glasgow CC members did you hear speaking out about another illegal gathering yesterday in George Square.
No one condones the action of some Rangers fans - but they are not responsible for all of Scotland's ills concerning CV.

3.) 17 May 2021 09:38:55
Sadly we have a number of so called supporters that will always cause trouble in a situation like we had on Sayrday and I suspect that they are joined by friends who are not necessarily Rangers fans but are simply out to cause trouble. This has always been the case and we are not the only Club in Scotland with a problem. Yes, the Club needs to take action against those that were arrested and ban them from attending Ibrox however the SNP Government needs to also take a good look at itself. They have so far been seen to condone marches supporting the Palestinians, which quite frankly has nothing whatsoever to do with Scotland. They are happy to allow marches supporting Irish Republicanism, but anything to do with Rangers and they go over the top. What happened could have and should have been avoided but sadly I suspect that the SNP knew there would be issues that would simply play into their hands and the Neanderthals that caused the problems are too lacking in intelligence to see this!

4.) 17 May 2021 10:04:08
MPH, level 3 means places can still open for non-alcoholic drink and meals indoors and alcohol and meals outdoors. I can blame those fans for the closure of all the hospitality around George Square. How were they supposed to operate their outside areas given what was going on all around them. And who would want to go eat inside for the same reason?

5.) 17 May 2021 10:37:30
Wasted words Struth

There is a clear group here who obviously enjoyed everything about the weekend and have spent 3 days gently support the **** who have damaged our club across the world

Hospitals were inundated on Saturday and Sunday,

This man here has defended it every time, along with his usual members.

6.) 17 May 2021 11:54:04
SNP condemed what happening in Pollokshields and told everyone to leave repeatedly. There is a difference in allowing peaceful protest (couple hundred people all wearing masks and socially distanced) and 15k bams intent on getting as smashed as possible and causing a riot. I don't see how stamping on someone's head or smashing a bottle in someones face is about quietly celebrating football. As for Palestine it is as relevant as Ireland. I would be extatic if all Irish matches on all sides were banned.

7.) 17 May 2021 13:45:49
Humza told people to get down to PollockShields 🤷.

8.) 17 May 2021 15:41:15
Huey, SNP encouraged people to overturn the rule of law.

16 May 2021 11:05:51
Utterly disgusted with events from city centre yesterday
Supposed to be a day of celebration yet some uneducated morons behave in such a manner
Shameful and not real gers fans as this doesn't represent our club
Anyone caught should have book thrown at them and a life ban not that these clowns probably ever go to ibrox anyway
Shameful and disappointing doesn't even cover it.

Bandwarmy

1.) 16 May 2021 11:20:00
Shocking behaviour, my 14 year old was wanting to go into city centre but not for the celebrations just for a day out with his friends, so glad I told him no cause I knew something would happen we seem to have a lot of **** that follow us but have never set foot in ibrox.

2.) 16 May 2021 12:12:59
how do we know they have never set foot in Ibrox or that they are not 'real' Rangers fans?
I am afraid that that type of person has always followed us, well in my 60 years as a fan they have, I don't think anyone has a solution. We can't say identify them and ban them and on the other hand say they never set foot in Ibrox that shows we have no answer.

3.) 16 May 2021 12:43:47
Was never going to be anything different mate, I said during the week this was a disaster waiting to happen, I was attacked by the usual , a blind man with a eye patch on each eye could see what was planned, AND THE UNION BEARS PLANNED IT,

They should be hounded out the door ASAP, right this minute,

4.) 16 May 2021 13:56:29
TT have you any proof it was UB that casued the trouble

I don’t like UB but you can’t blame them for the trouble unless you have proof of it and you probably don’t.

5.) 16 May 2021 14:25:39
Best I’ve seen so far on u tube. Four bears saying how they gave two Celtic fans a right kicking for turning up in their green football jerseys.
Said it was obvious to them that the two only wanted to antagonise the rangers party. Got what they deserved.
Pity the two lads were wearing Northern Ireland football tops with DAVIS on the back.

For those suggesting we should sell tav
Can someone explain I'm bewildered by such nonsense
Just captained us to the title n goals n assists off the scale
My missing something?

Bandwarmy

1.) 26 Apr 2021 18:14:30
He will be losing value due to age, we most likely need to sell an asset or two to raise money, his stock will be higher than it's ever been so can fish for a bigger fee and have a very promising player to fill in before we sign anyone else that needs games to maximise his potential.

I'm not in the definitely sell Tav camp but I can see where people are coming from.

2.) 26 Apr 2021 20:07:47
Hes had a good season this season so is value will be at its highest and with his age now is best time to sell. Every corner he hits doesn't go past 1st man. His defending is still very questionable, He's our weakest link in defence. We have a better younger player in Patterson.

3.) 26 Apr 2021 20:26:10
Nothing like bit of loyalty eh.

4.) 26 Apr 2021 20:42:57
What's loyalty got to do with it? You asked a question and got two answers.

5.) 26 Apr 2021 20:59:17
His age he only 28fs.

6.) 26 Apr 2021 21:13:07
Paterson has to play, would make good business sense to sell tav. Wright is better than hagi. So if it meant keeping key players like kamara and kent then tav and hagi can go. 👍.

7.) 26 Apr 2021 21:14:07
I think it is now time to put Tav into midfield as we did with Ricksen. I know it has been mooted before but our alternative right backs were not the greatest at the time. This would give us more goals, pace and ball carrying in that area. We really do miss either a fit Jack or Arfield for that dig. It would also allow Patterson to develop.

8.) 26 Apr 2021 21:42:13
If we need to sell in summer then Tav would be obvious choice because of age for getting a good transfer fee and if he stays he will stop the progress of Patterson long term.

9.) 27 Apr 2021 00:17:48
of course it would make sense to sell if a very good offer came in for tav, patterson ain't going to hang around waiting if his agents put offers to him i woulnt think, and Tav may really fancy a return to english football, especially a london club in epl

not to say i want him sold, i just see the obvious benefits to both sides, and he is certainly not a great defender. nor a midfielder, which is an awful idea.

10.) 27 Apr 2021 08:40:38
Tav's only problem for me, is that he thinks he should take every set piece, free kicks, corners, penalty's, we have other accomplished guys on the park capable of putting better crosses or efforts on goal. Good player for us, but we have a ready made replacement in Patterson, Tav has said himself, he wouldn't mind playing further forward, so we'll see what happens.
