Just registered with Forum. First post. From very good contact. awaiting full script of events on Tuesday but overwhelming consensus of Barton being 'hated' within dressing room from very early stage. Hopefully more to follow.

As many have said before me, I'd have been more annoyed if their wasn't a reaction by the players after the old firm game. But if things have been said by Barton that degrades the boys who've got us back into the SPFL like has been rumoured and he has infact went face to face with Warburton then he's out of line and should be punished accordingly.
He did himself no favours with his comments in the summer about being head and shoulder above anyone in Scotland. Last Saturday he was poor and in truth he's not kicked a ball for us all season.
Hopefully tomorrow we get some closure on this and we can move on. Togetherness in the squad is crucial with the tough fixtures we've got coming up.

Willie McKay who is Bartons agent is going into meeting with Joey Barton and MW. Now if it's a disciplinary meeting you take a lawyer, not your agent. You only take your agent if you are negotiating in or out? Work it out for yourselves.

ed from the same source that I originally gave the info we would be signing Barton (before anyone and was soundly ridiculed! ) I am told the situation was that the squad were asked what went wrong at parkhead, Halliday responded by saying that "it just didn't happen and things didn't come together" Barton responded by stating that was bollocks and named a few players including himself as basically being "shit" which didn't go down well and the retort was " we beat them without you last year" now this is a one sided picture of events and I am a big Halliday fan but only repeating what I was told same as I did when I said he was signing. Training ground and dressing bust ups happen and are not always a bad thing. What I would say though is that in my opinion the managers tactics need questioning albeit in the correct manner and timing and also that the results since the scots cup semi final speak for themselves.

Mabey barton was in the right? The star's aligned for the cup. multiple factors and a severe off day meant that rangers advanced. Loosing to hibs proved that. The start to the season proved it further. Can any rangers fan stand up and honestly say from thier heart that the cup result hasn't given the dressing room ambition beyond thier talent? Cue fighting and finger pointing when it sets in.
FACT. The hat has told his team they would win the title and they deserve it and are good enough. What does he expect to happen when you brainwash numpties and it doesn't go to plan. they kick off. Haliday's alleged statement was classic "we were good enough last time before you joined".
Hearts walked the championship at one attempt, lost some good players and finished third in the spl. I'll leave the rest to your imagination.

I'm a 52 year old season ticket holder. Admittedly, I've not always been a season ticket holder due to shift work and finances. However I've been to many games over many years and saw the great, the good and the not so good players who have played for this great club. I honestly cannot recall seeing any player as poor as Pena.
I've got to acknowledge the fact that he has represented his country but based on his performances for Rangers, he simply does not look a footballer. His head is always down looking at his feet, his touch and general awareness is nowhere near the standard of a professional football player, least of all a Glasgow Rangers player. It's baffling. If Pedro is to succeed, he will need to immediately remove Pena from the squad.

OTT to be fair his 2nd goal against St J showed he can read the game, get into position and be deadly with good service. He nearly set up a few on Sunday aswell in the first half, he's being a scapegoat, he will be in the top 5 scorers in the SPL at the end of the season.

Pena is too hit and miss and unfortunately that has been the story of his career, apart from the obvious in that we played a terrible game on Sunday I think we need to give Herrera a chance up front and before I here that he is too slow and no good he is the only. big striker we have and with him occupying a defender or two it might give Morelos a chance to shine again as the false nine isn't working for him, Herrera has hardly had a chance he has only played about 300 mins in 9 games I think for 2 goals and one assist and we had miller in for ten games and 700 and odd minutes for 1 goal and 2 assists so I reckon herrera is worth a few complete games then if no good then back to the bench but let's give him a chance as he has a strikers eye and I would rather see chances fall to him than that dumpling Windass.

Having watched pena in a few matches I have yet to see him control the ball with his first touch, it always bounces away from him, which is astonishing for an international player. He was put there to replace miller who was off form, but surely pedro must see that he is not the answer, morelos needs support and fast.

I thought supporters paid their money to support their team. I do. If I ever stop going to Ibrox, it will be nothing to do with the manager, the team or my genuine support for the Gers. it will be because of the whining, moaning, groaning 'attendees' who are quite frankly doing my nut in.

I find it very unfortunate, given the journey we've been on, that all news from the club is about Joey Barton, an overrated, under performing footballer who has been a resounding disappointment in every respect. He is not the foundation for development and growth of our club. We are better than that.

I believe Warburton deserves to be supported by board and fans. We are facing a different challenge and doing ok with several disappointments. then the harsh reality of well beaten by celtic distorts rational thinking. However I am now wishing to hear something different from our manager who overloads with 'work harder' and 'learning'. needs to reassess formation and tactics. that will allow us to see the learning. I'm kinda feeling no significant changes equals no learning.

Football must be the only business where you can sign a contract, fail to perform, break the rules yet potentially walk away with compensation up to the full amount of a contract. We're in wrong business guys. Be rid of JB and test the regulations around compensation. I'm happy to pay cash up front for my season ticket as part of the club's overall accounting but that's for the club. not an individual who has failed the club in every sense.
