It's easy to put all the blame at Murtys door, but let's also take a look at jimmy Nichols input or lack thereof, he was supposed to be there to help and advise the inexperienced manager, well if so then he should be off as well, Cowdenbeath to Glasgow rangers? He is equally accountable for that shambles today.

Jimmy Nichol is an experienced No 2 who is held in the highest of regard. Murty said at the very start he is his own man. He picks and chooses the formation (which he changed yesterday for our biggest game) and it went wrong. There is no blame to be laid at the feet of Jimmy Nichol, he is there toto assist Murty whether Murty listens to him or not is another thing.

Copland, MacKay gave Wallace no cover whatsoever and was part of the problem and the number of times Wallace ended up in no man's land because he went on a run and got caught out because he had no midfield cover was frightening. We should have been sorting out our defence and bringing in someone better than what we had for the wing positions.

I hope Lustig is not suspended for the Old Firm game because I fancy our chances with Murphy running at him.
Nothing about Celtic today got me particularly worried and tbh it’s been a long time coming since I’ve felt that leading up to an Old Firm game. Tierney and Forrest are the obvious threats, but we’ve got our own also.

Have West Ham lost their last 10 games against Liverpool? McInnes has a shocking record against Rodgers probably the worst in the league, he has also lost 3 against Murty. Even going back a few seasons when Delia was in charge Aberdeen kept losing big games when it looked like they might have challenged a truly awful Celtic team. His team under him does seem to have a major issue with big games. When was the last time Aberdeen lost 10 games in a row to Celtic?

I thought Aberdeen played well from highlights just couldn't finish any chance they had. Murphy and windass will tear celtic defense apart if they play like that at Ibrox. I do expect celtic to move up the gears in games now they are out of Europe. Should be a very close game.

Don't let any of the Tims kid you - they are still unsure of their team. Looking back the sheep was probably the best opponent for them to get a result from. McInnes is fast gaining a reputation for assuming the position for his pal, Brenda. This dhim team is pretty hopeless tbh. I lost count of the number of times they gave possession away, especially peanut head. The problem being the sheep are too useless to capitalise on their mistakes. Also Simunovoc, Ajer and Lustig are real scares

What Murty needed more than anything as a no2 was experience. Jimmy ticks every box and has previous management experience and is a well respected no2 with Northern Ireland. He knows the demands and expectations of the club and is a rangers man. I really hope Murty is a success though I have my doubts and if he isn’t then O’Neil assistant will have had half a season to assess squad etc. This surely makes O’Neil massive favourite if Murty gamble doesn’t pay off.

One of the reasons people on here moan is the way the club is/ has been run and the seemingly random appointments. Nichol might well be a decent enough coach but he's not the most exciting appointment is he? I think we have the basis of a decent team but we've got got a good few duffers in the squad. 3 years after King taking control, we should be in a much better position on and off the park.

No i'm not, but i'm not going to sit here and chastise the board for making an effort. I will however vent and give an opinion with a constructive solution instead of be a little moaning cry baby. i'm not excited by Jimmy Nichol, but he deserves a fair chance. I clearly said Air your concerns, which is the same as vent or critique etc.
Just do it in a better matter with some constructive emphasis in their instead of just moaning for the sake of it.
For me the board have done a good job since they take over and its clearly a marathon not a sprint to get us to where we belong. Which I can accept, obviously you cant.
I sit in BR2 with my kids but most of the time i'm upgraded to hospitality through my contacts since you asked.

Bates was unbelievably good, just ahead of the rest of the back line (including the goalie) . Danny Wilson showed he is a very good player and I hope he can stay fit as he should be one of the first picks. The slating of Alves is grossly unfair imo. You could see the disappointment in his face when he realised he couldn't continue. Big time players love to play in this fixture so why would he feign injury. It is ridiculous to suggest that On another point the mhanky, self proclaimed bfitw, showed their class by booing young McCrorie as he recovered from bleeding all over their midden. It was so bad he had to change his shirt. Class as always!
