Well lads its Groundhog Day again - shipping goals at back like the basic schooolboy/ BB defending of yore! In fact our BB defending was marginally better and if we lost a goal like that the defenders would be fighting in dressing room through anger at not marking of individuals.
Dundee Utd could have driven their team bus through the channel that was left at our six yd box with the usual ball watching brigade - times have not changed since Goldson and Phillips and Barasic / Tavs did the very same routinely - got to say canny understand how if Butland is watching his area that the communications is not there to pick up a bloody man when he moves towards our goal. ? Propper caught on heels once more and all back four looking to where ball is coming from and not caring where it ends up!
If I was any part of coaching staff they would be watching this clip on repeat for several hours until it sank into their thick skulls - we lose similar goals continuously and this sickens me to the core. No one marshalls the defence or even does the basic of having a quick glance over your shoulder to see blindside - EFFIN BASICS LADS -TALK TO EACH OTHER ! We are a laughing stock there and never mind Kyogo only needing couple feet of space to punish anyone.
that's not even an issue here when their centre has the width of Argyll Street to run into unchallenged. PC take note and sort it out and none of yer flannel to explain it away - these are basic errors committed on a routine basis -rant over!

Got to say that Dowell should never be near a match squad- the boy has shown nothing over his tenure at Ibrox and needs moved on ASAP - our youth deserve that jersey - one of Gers poorest ever signings I feel - and we will win zip if we need to rely on him moving forward?.

BF there have been too many to count poorest signings over the years. not meant as a defence of Dowell because I share your concerns.
@Fork I think that is down to the OF rivalry. can you imagine us losing the league and playing young lads; fans would go mental. I also think the gap between B team and first team is too great which is why we are looking to get a team in the lower leagues. If it was Beale's decision I think that withdrawing from Poland league was a mistake. regular football against the adults in that division would bring them on. the B team games against U21 sides doesn't do that. In the LL league we could have kept trying to see if promotion was a possibility to make the opposition quality even better. We should buy a feeder club even down south to put our youth in and develop them there until they reach 1st team or to sell.

First time poster so go easy on me. If it was me I’d have sterling LB until yilmaz is fit then the new Dutch lad (no even going to try spell his name) RB for a while to see what he’s made of. Then midfield 3 bajrami, Barron and Dio with front 3 of jefte, Danilo, cerny.
Danilo can’t rot on the bench forever after yesterday’s performance from dessers so why not give him game time and change it so we aren’t subject to what we witnessed yesterday. Also jefte LW elimates defensive frailties and he looks better at attacking anyway. Just my opinion.

Kasanwijro can play either RB or CB and Bajrami you would expect to play as a number 10 or LW.
Sterling might be an option at LB until Yilmaz returns from injury.
We really need to sign an experienced midfielder who is available on a free transfer, and a previous poster mentioned Davy Klassen, or Denis Praet, as we need a player to control the tempo of the game.

Copland - yeah we need players to control the game. But going by what I’ve seen of klassen and praet I thought they were more on the attacking side of midfield. A big problem we have now is that we are so open there due to clements structure, tactics and by all accounts a style of play that we still don’t see. Midfield is an issue as we are very lightweight in there just seem to get bullied and overrun in there. Sterling in there was a good idea for physicality but he has to play in back 4 now for me.
Maybe it’s time to go 3-5-2 for security and get 2 forwards up there but can’t see clement changing to that now. FA might be an option to look where u mentioned klassen and praet but different style of player but FA is always a gamble cause players who don’t have a club usually don’t have one for a reason.

I have to admit the fact we now have so called fans hounding players and the manager abusing them doesn't sit well at all with me. We stuck together through thick and thin over the last decade and while we are all massively disappointed and angry at another loss at them we need to stick together and back the team and manager.

This seems to have come from Derek Ferguson who for some reason seems to have become the latest go to ex Rangers player who in fact knows absolutely hee haw about the club.

WSL - the teams failure goes back many a moon prior to Clement and Koppen - its the failure of our hierarchical structure which has caused the demise of our team/ club/ squad - Good businesses are led from the TOP and that's what we have been lacking for at least a decade - TRUE BUSINESS MEN AT THE HELM (not just guys who wear the club tie or are Rangers mean supposedly - REAL FOOTBALL BUSINESSMEN WITH BIG CLUB EXPERIENCE AND TRACK RECORDS! - unfortunately someone has to TRY and fix the mess left by years of neglect so let's toe it into those who are here at present who are running rudderless - REALITY NEEDS TO BITE - money needs spent at top structure to give fruits below eventually (wish I had that magic wand)

WSL - No credit then for the likes of Barron and Jefte who if they keep progressing look like pretty good buys and could net good sell on- just a downer on the guy I feel - cup half full or half empty I need to ask? I agree that there have been some signings who have not hit ground running but same as Gio and Bealeball before him regarding numerous iffy players signed- look at the market we are shopping in nowadays - and the amount of EXPECTED IMMEDIATE SUCCESS most fans are piling on this team at present - I personally would like more Scottish identity to the team/ squad but look at costs we are being quoted for young players - that's obviously why we are trying the so called cheaper/ foreign market.

Clementimes and Ger78 both bang on - far too many on here see a change of manager as the ideal magical fix - we have been broken from the top of the tree down for many years which has been crux of the failings and this is unfortunately the climax of all these years of mis-management - another manager will have same players-same or less finances and same unbelievable financial gulf - SOME TRUE REALISM IS ORDER OF THE DAY- I FOR ONE don't WANT THE MANAGERIAL MERRYGOROUND TO BE OUR NORM.

There would be nothing wrong in getting Shankland in as a third striker assuming we move Dessers on - I don't care about debate is he better or worse than Danillo or Igamane ? - he would be a fine compliment in my eyes to a front squad who will undoubtably have injuries as season progresses.

WSL please read comment fully - Tav is not solely to blame for poor return from corners and agreed his delivery can be good ( damn horrendous at times too - but Tav diciples prob don't see that) - But who in our team attacks the ball with gusto when any delivery is on the money (think I mentioned we are easily dominated so that means those in the box and not those taking the dead ball)? We are just as static attacking a corner as we are when defending a corner too if truth be told?.

Mystar - had tenner on big Amo at 16/ 1 for 1st goal vs them when his goal won us 2003 Scottish Cup final and big man was in tears at the end as think that was his last game - those were the days? - last CH Scoring 1st for me was big Katic - oh how times have changed.

Totally agree lads - Prob 80% of the time our deliveries from corners are peeesh (ma baw Tavs) - a wee while ago we tried many inswingers at front post with pace which seemed to be the way to go. put keeper under pressure and attack balls in air very simple in theory but super difficult for us it seems to do - our goals vs corners ratio is horrendous and we need to capitalise on these set plays - it makes me ask do we really work on these at training as it looks dubious? Oh for a Gough or Amo or Butcher type who would bully defenders and attack crosses and give us several goals a season from corners/ set plays - we look second best and easily dominated when in opposition box most of the time?.
