Any truth in the Rumour on Lawrence Shankland. Seems a strange game to miss out on for Hearts. I really hope so as we need a boost.
1.) 29 Aug 2024 20:30:09
That would be the cherry on top of a awful transfer window.
2.) 29 Aug 2024 20:33:20
He's not a boost for me.
3.) 29 Aug 2024 20:33:39
He is injured came off on Saturday.
4.) 29 Aug 2024 20:34:22
He's carrying an injury.
5.) 29 Aug 2024 20:35:32
Amen to that, I have been checking RR, every 10 mins in hope, let’s see who comes.
6.) 29 Aug 2024 20:35:43
We would’ve signed him by now I feel. Although if we do it’s a definite last option panic buy.
7.) 29 Aug 2024 20:38:24
Maybe because Shankland is injured mate, really wouldn't be happy if he signed, we need dcm att/ mid cb before him.
8.) 29 Aug 2024 20:38:36
Hes injured.
9.) 29 Aug 2024 20:48:25
Anyone making this rumour up surely knows he is injured just utter nonsense.
10.) 29 Aug 2024 22:30:30
Shankland is horrendous, I would rather sign Erik Bo Anderson.
11.) 29 Aug 2024 23:49:02
Why would we sit with 3 4.5m+ strikers when we need so many other areas strengthened first?
12.) 30 Aug 2024 10:03:12
Shankland now meets criteria of our signing policy, over priced and injured.

How pathetic! In the Daily Record this Wednesday the Sports Writers claimed that Malmo were next level to anything Rangers have faced this year. Their 6 Sports Writers all predicted the outcome and 4 were wins for Malmo and 2 draws. Fast forward to Friday's Daily Record and something strange has happened! Malmo are declared a Mickey Mouse team who would become whipping boys for any opposition in the Europa League. And they say there is no bias against the Rangers! Those same Sports Writers all predicted that Celtic would easily beat Slovan Bratislava, and not one of them went against Scotland in the recent European Championship, predicting Scotland to beat Germany, Switzerland and Hungary. Now and again there's nothing wrong with bias towards the Scottish Clubs but may I ask what happened to Rangers? If it wasn't for us those same Sports Writers would not have been out of Scotland whereas following Rangers in Europe would take them to many countries while assuming the Role of a Sports Writer on very decent pay.

Good idea from John Gilligan today to reach out to Dave King asking him to conduct his business in private and stop publicly ripping our club apart. As a club this should be a time for recovery and everyone must get onboard and get behind the club.
Disharmony with the world watching on isn't a good look. Tough decisions will have to be made at Boardroom level and the Season Ticket Holders deserve better. King can be a positive force if he puts his weight behind the club. He has business contacts who I am sure would be looking to invest in our great club and return it to it's rightful place.

Just catching up on all the current situation rumours on the Rangers CEO. It looks to me as though Dave King could do a lot of damage if he does not get the role. We should all wish John Bennett well and hopefully he stays onside as he has bankrolled a lot of signings during what has been a turbulent time. Dave King has excellent business contact's and as our major shareholder he has the Future of the Club at heart. This is really important for the future of our club. Can Dave King unite the shareholders? Let's hope so although I fear there will be a few people removed from the building. It's not all doom and gloom with the return to Ibrox and the fact that some of our signings look decent. John Bennett's failing was trusting others, King will keep a close watch on all departments to ensure that everyone has 100% buy in to making Rangers the best in Scotland and challenging in Europe. For the Supporters sake please let's get this right.

It's time for all bluenoses to get behind Phil Clement and the team. We are allowing ourselves to be dragged into the mire by buying in to all the negativity. I must admit I am Dissapointed by the delay in the work to Ibrox and by finding out the wages that some of our very average players are on. For Tavenier to be upset by being confronted with the truth as he purchases a Million Pound Town House, really it's time to Man Up or Man Out. Celtic are not World beaters and are setting an extremely low bar. If some of the acquisitions we have made can show their capabilities we won't be far away. I admit that I get depressed when seeing the other mob above us in the league so starting at Tannadice on Sunday let's show the fans that we are moving in the right direction. Aye Ready.

Watched the Republic of Ireland versus England game last night and I had to laugh at the Commentator apologising for the chanting. The abuse was directed at our Royal Family and our Armed forces. I wonder if the English realise that we have to listen to this every week. It's amazing that they hate everything about the United Kingdom and yet they flock to get here.

We MUST all get behind him. He has done a lot to help with lowering the average age, lowering the wage bill and moving on the deadwood. It will take time but we should still be able to beat the rest of the Scottish Premiership Clubs and solely focus on the Celtic games.

Let's hope that serious money men come forward and restore Rangers place as the top side in Scotland.
