According to football insider rangers have apparently tabled a 4 million bid for Oli McBurnie

Broxi17

1.) 13 May 2018 16:20:43
Does anybody think he is worth taking a punt at that price.

2.) 13 May 2018 16:30:19
If we had McBurnie Cummings Morelos and Marriot I’d be happy with that strike force but ultimately it’s the defence we should be concentrating on first

3.) 13 May 2018 16:42:38
Is he not out of contract anyway

4.) 13 May 2018 16:49:15
I’m sure the article says he still has one year left in his current deal.

5.) 13 May 2018 18:17:42
Broxi17, are you for real? Have you seen Cummings and Morelos play this season? They like most of the team are deadwood Gerrard will get shot of! If our aim is to battle it out with Aberdeen and Hibs next season then yeah keep them!

6.) 13 May 2018 18:33:54
Morelos has been one of our better players this season his strength and link up play is excellent, granted he has missed a fair few sitters but he’s scored 18 goals in his first season without a pre season break and he’s still only 21, and with the right coaching he will only get better. As for Cummings he’s not really had a string of games to showcase what he can do and still managed 6 goals and I believe him and McBurnie could form a good partnership given their friendship.

7.) 13 May 2018 18:38:30
Listen bears season over and let's get this behind us can't wait till next season there will be many players wanting to play for Steven thay will all show him respect and play for him

8.) 13 May 2018 18:57:32
I agree with you Ronnie

9.) 13 May 2018 19:04:11
Some People seem to want to keep everyone still lol

10.) 13 May 2018 19:14:23
Final year of contract for relegated side who loaned Jim out? Not sure he would cost more than £2m but we won’t pay it unless we get a few quite for Alfredo

11.) 13 May 2018 19:50:08
I looked it up and he's out of contract I believe end of May. Development fee if anything I think. Let's get used to players being linked with us daily now until season starts.

12.) 13 May 2018 20:06:30
He is under contract with Swansea until June 2019

13.) 13 May 2018 20:14:29
I too think Morelos is a great prospect. grossley over criticised . confidence short plus I think Pena was his pal and he respected millar with those two out the picture he struggled for support

14.) 13 May 2018 20:31:06
Sorry I’m just not buying it, I have said for months that Morelos is guff and that team needs overhauled!

15.) 13 May 2018 20:57:15
Morelos can go for me

16.) 13 May 2018 21:50:51
I agree with Broxi17 😄

17.) 13 May 2018 23:00:28
Mcburnie out of contract according to transfermarket

18.) 13 May 2018 23:08:17
Mcburnie not worth 4 mil. Hopefully we keep Morelos and Cummings and get a powerful striker in there with them.

19.) 13 May 2018 23:12:37
Definitely not worth 4 mil

20.) 13 May 2018 23:16:45
He's out of contract in summer mate so don't know why we would pay 4m for him

21.) 14 May 2018 07:30:57
June 2019

06 May 2018 22:10:36
EstConsultancy tweeted this an hour ago and are usually bang on with their info
Folk actually wanting David Murray back involved at Ibrox. Downright mental with no chance of happening.

Investment being sought and still a bit away from any sort of announcement.

Broxi17

1.) 06 May 2018 23:03:13
Good cause if David Murray returned I wouldn't

2.) 07 May 2018 00:25:52
I take it you never enjoyed 9 in a row and all the fantastic players he brought to the club?

3.) 07 May 2018 00:36:17
It’s not david murray!

4.) 07 May 2018 00:46:14
Im not sure Davd Murray would be legally allowed to return to Rangers. I think the SFA would have something to say about that.

5.) 07 May 2018 02:32:18
We’re in the mess because of him.

I don’t want him back near the place.

If you think for one minute selling Rangers for £1 was him treating us with a modicum of respect you’re deluded.

It’s honesty, clarity, passion from now on we need. Not those with an ego bigger than his bank balance.

I loved and lived 9 in a row but he jumped ship just like the others that are called rats.

6.) 07 May 2018 04:45:06
Clueless and terrible statement

7.) 07 May 2018 01:07:55
I for one can’t forgive Murray for what he done to our club and supporters! ’ It’s unforgivable 🇬🇧🇬🇧🇬🇧

8.) 07 May 2018 05:29:56
And do u not think that it's hurting him just as much as it did with us David Murray will want the best for the club and yes Craig white duped him but if he wanted us away that much then why should he be interested in getting back involved with the club am all for it and remember the good auld days well thay will be back

9.) 07 May 2018 06:42:09
David Murray sold the club to white then our problems started, If Murray sold you a car and you didn't tax the car its not Murrays fault for selling the car in the first place!

10.) 07 May 2018 06:42:11
Est consultancy, if you’ve read it, says that he has no idea what the press conference is about then rants about Murray. No facts whatsoever.

11.) 07 May 2018 08:14:29
David Murray is one of the biggest chancers to have walked through the Ibrox doors.
He duped Craig Whyte, another total chancer.
Would chase Murray from anything to do with our great club

12.) 07 May 2018 08:21:14
I would welcome D Murray bk in a heart beat defo

13.) 07 May 2018 09:06:26
Smodge

Whyte did not dupe Murray. The Rangers board at the time warned Murray against selling to Whyte and said that they didn’t think Whyte had the necessary funds. Murray ignored this and sold to Whyte regardless despite promising the Rangers support he would only sell to a person with the clubs interests at heart. Murray also used the banks money to fund the signings and was the biggest benefactor of the infamous EBTs. Cannot believe some people still want him back after the damage this man done to the club.

14.) 07 May 2018 09:45:34
I would wecome david murray back as long as he splashed and let stevie spend his cash

15.) 07 May 2018 10:34:55
Disagree with you bindo, fair enough he sold to whyte and his legacy has been tarnished for that, but he didn't know what whyte was going to do, he was only due the bank 20+ million which is peanuts compared to the amount he's put in through the years. The reason he sold to whyte for £1 was on the terms that he clears the bank debt. And the ebts were not illegal when he done them, he didn't hide what he was doing, someone years later decides that it is illegal to do ebts. But at the time it was just a loophole that he used. I guarantee he deeply regrets selling to whyte and if he wants to come back and put money in to help take us back to the top then i would be delighted. He got criticism for the faults he done. But i tell you what, he deserves credit for the amount of good times he brought to our club.

16.) 07 May 2018 11:29:48
David murray new exactly what he was doing when he sold it to whyite he was desperate to get out of there with the pressure of the ebts. and let me tell you a we rumour that is 100% truth. murray has still got debt all over ibrox with adventures he started to take cash and never followed threw on them and the tax man was in a few weeks ago and it isn't good news am afraid will give finer details in dew course. if david murrey has any balls or soul he will donate 50 mill from his 150million net worth as he sold glasgow rangers down the river for a quid

17.) 07 May 2018 13:14:58
Bindo you are 100% correct he new what whyte did to everything he got involved in and ignored every warning

04 May 2018 20:01:00
I work with a scouser who is a massive Liverpool fan who recently travelled from Scotland to Liverpool to take in the champions league semi with Roma and he is raving about a young midfielder on their books called harry Wilson and thinks that there is a big possibility that Gerrard will bring him in on loan.

Broxi17

1.) 04 May 2018 21:09:45
Been playing well at Hull this season on loan, looks decent

2.) 04 May 2018 23:00:27
Can see Gerrard looking to bring in jack Robinson from qpr. Came through the ranks at Liverpool and looked like making it there but suffered a couple of serious injuries. Ended up at qpr and has come through a full season this season. Out of contract in the summer. A natural left back but has been used as a left sided centre back this year and qpr fans have been raving about him (read their forums ) . Sheffield United apparently sniffing about but expect he would favour joining up with stevie g. Would be an upgrade on John at left back purely for his superior defensive abilities.

3.) 05 May 2018 12:34:05
Anyone heard anything on Thomas Isherwood, young CB who is meant to be on trial at Ibrox. Played for Bayern Munich 11 and contract ends this summer. Also would love Martin Skrtl to join SG again.

4.) 05 May 2018 12:52:44
Very good young Swedish player with lots of potential, identified by mark Allen and his team.

14 Apr 2018 18:07:26
A fellow bear at work informed me that Harry forrester has signed a new deal with us. Can anyone tell me if there's any truth in this as I'm a bit sceptical.

Broxi17

1.) 14 Apr 2018 18:23:13
maybe as a greenkeeper! 😆

2.) 14 Apr 2018 20:58:10
Aye. Why wouldn't we offer him a new deal?
Really?

3.) 15 Apr 2018 04:12:10
I worry the way the posts are going here!

4.) 15 Apr 2018 08:54:22
Have a think about that 😂😂

5.) 15 Apr 2018 10:07:28
Harry signed a new deal when Warburton was in charge that runs until end of next season. Think Rangers will try and get money for him but will terminate his contract if not sold in the summer. Same with Hodson Dodoo and MOH

6.) 15 Apr 2018 11:17:58
The only deal he will be signing anytime soon is another year of SKY HD.

7.) 15 Apr 2018 12:04:18
Halarious TJBB . 😳

8.) 15 Apr 2018 12:58:05
None of us know gers true financial standpoint but if we're starting from point we're truly potless then for good/ bad Clarke has to be man irrespective of family ties which is stupid argument.

9.) 15 Apr 2018 18:36:58
MBW its only a stupid argument from one side, he would probably knock us back for HIS family reasons would you have played for them, I wouldn't.

14 Apr 2018 08:46:17
According to the sun former Ajax manager marcel kaizer is keen to talk to gers about managerial position

Broxi17

1.) 14 Apr 2018 10:29:40
Id be keen to speak to them as well if i was needing a regular shift.

2.) 14 Apr 2018 11:20:55
Indeed bigcliff - only time 'interest' is shown by anyone is when they are out of work! Was the same with the unwashed.
Tells you something

3.) 14 Apr 2018 11:52:05
Are you seriously complaint about people out of work being the only ones claiming interest?! There's an obvious reason for that. Managers under contract can't go around touting for other jobs!

4.) 14 Apr 2018 16:30:57
MikeGer fair do's mate, however did it not cross your mind they are all out of work for a reason?

5.) 14 Apr 2018 23:40:28
Heard a wee rumour that talks are ongoing with Stewart Petrie. Done wonders with Montrose this season.

6.) 15 Apr 2018 00:06:17
@bil72 Just because it hasn't worked out at a club for a manager doesn't mean that manager is not a good manager. Walter smith was sacked by Everton.

7.) 15 Apr 2018 13:30:46
Walter was not a journeyman manager. A lot of the guys mentioned on here have had numerous clubs, and are again out of work. There is a pattern and o think what we should be looking at is someone who can build over 5 years +

Considering we have been linked with just about every former teammate of the gaffers I’m surprised that there’s been no mention of Steven Caulker given how well he has Performed since his arrival at Dundee. Surely he’s an improvement on Martin and co?

Broxi17

1.) 19 May 2018 10:52:24
Heard he's away to replace Boyata at the tims

2.) 19 May 2018 11:03:16
I agree Broxi17 He's an English international and can get him at a snip He'd be worth a punt for sure given that other we have been linked with don't have a c. v. of his calibre yet would cost us an arm and leg!

He has had issues but so did Gazza and he was class!
Scotland is a good place for Caulker to play his football and I'm sure there are sound people that would keep him grounded!

3.) 19 May 2018 11:44:44
I heard from a Tim who has a son playing at Dundee that caulker went to Dundee to prove himself before making a move to Celtic all part of the deal between Dundee and the unwashed at the time with Bain

I don’t think he would come to us.

4.) 19 May 2018 15:45:55
Did Dundee not turn down 2million for him from Rosenberg?

05 May 2018 13:51:58
If Chelsea were to request musonda to return to Stamford bridge due to lack of playing time with Celtic, which I have seen quoted online, do you think there would be a place for him with us?
I know there may be a bit of controversy given that he has featured for Celtic but surely the days of players not being able to turn out for our club due to playing for our arch rivals are long gone, Miller Presley Johnson just a few examples.
The lad has enormous potential and i would love to see them spitting feathers if he were to showcase his talent with us rather than sit on a bench at parkhead.

Broxi17

04 May 2018 21:47:32
What do you guys think of Ryan Babel? Went of the radar after leaving Liverpool but has revived his career at Besiktas and played well in the Champions league this season helping his team Qualify from their group. Not really a rumour just interested in others opinions given his links with Gerrard.

Broxi17

1.) 04 May 2018 23:40:07
I’d like to think that we can build a new generation of bears in the coming years that will write themselves into our history without signing a load of ex-cronies, that said, if Stevie wants them here then I’m behind them 100%. I’m also hopeful that he will be brave enough to get some of our own young guns in there from the off. (Stephen Kelly, atakayi etc. ) 🤜🏻✍🏻👌🏻🤘🏻

24 Apr 2018 22:52:58
What's all this talk of supporters not renewing their season tickets? Whatever happened to we don't do walking away.
Have a word with yourselves and remember we should be supporting our team through thick and thin!

Broxi17

1.) 25 Apr 2018 07:32:52
Yeh that was ally who said that, then he walked away

2.) 25 Apr 2018 07:54:03
£700 and never being offered a move despite requesting it for 4 years running.

I'm not renewing

3.) 25 Apr 2018 08:03:32
Loyalty goes both ways, respect is earned not automatic.
SDM let the club and supporters down. Short-term glory for long-term misery.
Since SDM walked away (imo he did, for £1.00) it has been crook and swindler after crook and swindler.
Whyte? . well we know what rhymes with that, 'nuff said.
The Yank, a successful businessman, made the best offer but it went to Green (That was a great bit of business by the admins) Mind you, some supporters would not have him as he was not a Rangers Man That worked out well for the club.
Ally did not walk away, he was removed. Great player, not so good manager.

The only ones who have been constant are the supporters.

4.) 25 Apr 2018 20:01:38
As far as I am aware ez if you spot a seat vacant that you want and request it it's not a prob? . too many people forget what supporting a football team is all about . hi s and lows. true support is wgats needed not glory hunters

Prediction for Sunday 2-1 rangers and Murphy to score first goal

Broxi17

1.) 09 Mar 2018 13:35:24
3-1, Docherty, Cummings double! Come on!

2.) 09 Mar 2018 13:39:37
Think there will be goals can see us sneaking a 3-2! Fancy windass and morelos double

3.) 09 Mar 2018 14:03:19
Jzer, i agree with you mate,3-2 to the famous, with jamie murphy scoring the 1st goal!

4.) 09 Mar 2018 14:11:41
I'll take a win in any format. If cummings can score winner in 90 th minute and do the joker in front of Scott Brown I'd be over the moon. Onwards

5.) 09 Mar 2018 14:40:11
3-0 . Celtic will be rabbit in headlights. No more than what the fans deserve in my opinion.

6.) 09 Mar 2018 14:51:15
That would be immense mate, if jason cummings scored the winner, and then went right up to that reprobate scott brown and done the joker smile with his hand over his face, right in front of broony the loony! The full stadium would be in stitches! Well at least 45,000 would!

7.) 09 Mar 2018 21:45:20
I fancy both teams to score and a Rangers win. 6/1
Might even double it with the Hivs v Jambos tonight.

8.) 09 Mar 2018 21:46:15
Really hope Jamie Murphy makes it just a pity Lustig can't play Murphy would have tore him apart.

9.) 09 Mar 2018 23:00:48
I understand the need for fans to be giving vent to their excitement re the better shape our team is in before this game. rabble rousing is all part of the football supporter experience but we have still been shipping goals and have had two draws in our last nine against them (which included a record 5-1 reverse at home! )

I've been reading this site long enough to know if we don't get a result Sunday all those now calling the shots will simply disappear from the site (at least for a while! ) . or be coming out with the Murty isn't experienced enough . we need another manager line etc (as happened after our recent home reverse v Hibs) .

{Ed033's Note - Rangers better win then!

the team will wear the new strip for the Europa cup 1st qualifying round which starts on the 12th of July no less. Hopefully we’re drawn against Linfield if possible lol. As for when the strip is available to the fans I’m led to believe it will be a couple weeks after the first qualifying round 🇬🇧🇬🇧🇬🇧

Bare minimum is finishing a close second to Celtic and 2 good cup runs and maybe a couple of old firm wins. That would be progress on this season and then we can push on from there the following season and win the league
