Just because a player is signed in the last two weeks of a four week window doesn't make it a rush buy . Sometimes it takes time to get deals done. Next two games are against Fraserburgh which the B team would be confident of winning and Man Utd which any signing would be ineligible to play in any way.

Seen a few news articles stating that Philippe Clement is still the Belgium FA front runner for there managers role. Wonder if this is true when they will make a call on there new manager.

Clement is determined to get us back where we belong. I trust him still but he needs backed. These 2 windows are vital as we have seen we don't have the depth. That's why we've struggled away cause the unfortunate rotations and bans. These players are adapting to playing this many games. A lot of them look absolutely dead on feet after 60 mins but they'll adapt. Look how the elite top level players of Newcastle bombed with the extra games despite being far better players. It's about building the experience in a young squad. These results are actually vital experience for the players, feeling the pain of defeat and bouncing back. Success will come if we're a little more patient. I think it'll come sooner than most think too.

The manager is only as good as the players he has, Martinez was manager of Belgium and now Portugal at good times re available talent, even then many would say he didn't achieve all he should have with that Belgium team.

he got Wigan to the FA cup final and kept them in EPL for 3 seasons so can't be that bad.

We should be looking to sign our loan player Cerny, never seen Chukwuemeka for a couple of seasons and only seen him once or twice for Villa, but he'll be out of our wage bracket and prefer loaning a winger that we can sign after his loan.

King is not good enough at the moment, If he was he would be starting every week, the lad has been around the first team for a while now and never really held down a starting position. Think he hasn’t lived up to his potential and would benefit from a loan spell where he could get first team football.

Agree Fork - would take a loan option only as we can prob source better/ younger with sell on value come summer window - but if we end up scraping the barrel then give King a run with hopefully the broken and bruised CHs coming in to support when fit and available - we have been hit hard in that area re Balogun/ Soapy/ Kasinwirjo/ Sterling etc - we have been crying out for a true solid leader in there for years?.

Rfc55 I agree and have said that numerous times lately, King isn’t good enough, he will have a decent career at a Motherwell, St Mirren or Killie imho and maybe not at CB, he’s comfortable on the ball and can play holding mid or CDM as they call it now. But if we bring in Katic we are paying 2 players not good enough., so play King and he will either step up or confirm many’s thoughts.

Borna we can not swap him in for Kas under the new rules in the new formats of the European competitions, clubs will not be able to alter their squads immediately. Only after the league phase of each competition ends can they bring a maximum of three fresh faces into their squad.

Does not matter if we sign a CB before the Man u game as they will not be in the euro squad, if propper is out injuried then the back line will need to be balagon and King.
As Nsiala is not in the euro squad unless we can add someone as injury cover.
