Sometimes the new player that shines is not the most expected and I think that the stand out for us next season might be Jordan Jones. I honestly don't think Kent will be back now. Hope I am wrong but don't think so!

I agree C. Between Murphy, Jones, Ojo, Aribo and Hastie we have some good options!
I’m buzzing for Murphy he was just starting to establish himself and now with better players around him I think he’ll be fantastic!
Do we need Kent? Probably not but I’d still take him if the option was there.
Jack, Davis, Kamara, Murphy, Aribo, Ojo, Defoe, Morelos! Plenty of options!

2.) 05 Jul 2019 09:21:55
Agree c of ibrox a think jones might just surprise a few folk.

3.) 05 Jul 2019 09:25:41
Mate was at the TNS and said biggest surprise was Jones.
Other new players looked decent but he said Jones looked much faster and involved than at K'nock.

4.) 05 Jul 2019 09:55:02
i agree, i doubt kent will be back. With Arfield, Jonesand Murphy that can play on the left i'm not sure we need him. Ojo, hastie and candias on the right we are well covered for wide areas.

5.) 05 Jul 2019 10:47:59
I think Hastie might surprise a few. Looking forward to Murphy looked as though he was getting used to our style under SG till he got crocked.

6.) 05 Jul 2019 12:41:40
Kent was always a stop-gap while Murphy was injured - we have plenty options, all better value than Kent, although it'd be great if he came back too.

7.) 05 Jul 2019 22:37:35
Given how excellent Jones has been for NI in the qualifiers, there's definitely expectation around him. Couldn't care less about Kent - Jones nearly matched his stats last season in very different teams. And does it for his country. Much happier with having our own players than developing Liverpool's unwanted.

Well done the young teddy bears. Dapo Mebude and Josh McPake stand outs. McPake will be a star for us. Expect to see him around the first team very soon!

Agree I also thought the midfield 3 were fantastic, Dickson, Williamson and Kennedy. The thing for me with the midfield was everything they done was effortless and effecient. The way they played reminded me of young Ferguson when he came through.

2.) 26 Apr 2019 07:00:44
I agree mate. There must be 4 or 5 very promising young talent there in that team. It was a great performance. Its all heading in the right direction. Finally the Rangers are getting their act together!

3.) 27 Apr 2019 13:16:07
Agreed, a few good prospects in that team. Just don't over hype them and put too much pressure on them like that mob love to do. They can end up believing there own hype and think they've made it when there achieved nothing.

4.) 27 Apr 2019 13:18:11
I honestly belief it Celtic weren't going for 10IAR our first team would look entirely different. Young Andrew Dallas would have featured after his impressive goal scoring form earlier in the season, Rudden would have been in and around the first team too along with some of the boys who win the cup last night. The priority is to stop 10IAR and unfortunately I think these young lads are victims of this task but the future is looking very promising with most of our young teams absolutely flying domestically and globaly. Loved the attitude of the players after the win, especially young Coombes who want the champions league next season. Gerrard must be delighted with the winning mentality and sees a bright future ahead of these boys like we all do.

5.) 27 Apr 2019 17:48:52
Am I the only fan that doesn’t care about ten in a row? I mean I want us to be winning titles again but I’m generally not fussed about ten in a row - they had to vote us out the league to get them so just doesn’t feel like that much of an achievement!

6.) 29 Apr 2019 16:01:24
Zikos, totally agree with you there. They had to vote us down to get four of them. The rest have been us trying to get ourselves sorted out by going thru breadman and that foreign manager (makes 6 I believe) We've only got ourselves sorted out for next season) with SG. Again 100% right and 10IAR ain't nothing to sing about. If being honest ain't heard no Tims crowing because they see reality too.

Jake hastie deal done!

C_of_Ibrox

1.) 21 Apr 2019 19:11:33
Yip just seen it on DR online. Hopefully he goes into the first team squad and continues to improve. Think this is the way forward for us. We need to buy up all the best young talent in the country, nurture it then sell on at a profit obviously.

2.) 21 Apr 2019 21:24:56
Aye agreed mate. We need best of Scottish and some gems from other countries. If he applies himself correctly then we could have a good young player in our ranks!

3.) 22 Apr 2019 08:03:48
Did he ditch the agent? Heard rumours that was the problem? Hopefully the lad kicks on and bags 15 goals next season, definitely think we’ve missed direct wide men with a greed for goals, good signing IMO and one that will develop if played.

4.) 22 Apr 2019 10:58:53
Jones and Hastie been signed because Kent will be away. If we kept Kent, Jones, Hastie, Murphy, Candais, Middleton and Gedeza . Sorry but in any period of Football that's to many wingers. If Jones and Hastie have not been signed to be part of the first team squad they should not have been signed. Davis, Arfield, Jack, Kamarra, MCorrie. Last 3 games have been 4 from that and one from Kent etc. Kent comes back, Candias drops out. 4411 or 442.

We need a massive clear out.

5.) 23 Apr 2019 15:40:03
If we're getting excited by a signing like Hastie, we're really in trouble. Signings so far are absolute dross.

6.) 25 Apr 2019 07:16:01
Who would you have us signing rfcrb?

We should make a move for Arron Hickey. That boy is going to be a tremendous player!

C_of_Ibrox

1.) 23 Sep 2019 06:31:11
We've got better players than hickey who can't get near our starting 11 mate. Entitled to your opinion though.

2.) 23 Sep 2019 13:00:44
Sg like who.

3.) 23 Sep 2019 16:46:40
Hickey is 17. You don't think we should sign up big Scottish prospects?

21 Sep 2019 21:19:20
Really happy to see Mark Warburtons QPR doing well. The board should have properly backed him instead of going for idiots from Portugal.

1.) 21 Sep 2019 21:39:44
Who is going to be the first to bite on that one I wonder? 🎣.

2.) 21 Sep 2019 22:54:59
In fairness, Bread man started well, and had virtually no money to spend, so who knows.

3.) 22 Sep 2019 01:25:29
Bizzmybrox he started well in championship. Started to get found out tail end of championship season could see how it was all going.

4.) 22 Sep 2019 10:48:58
board felt he wasn't committed and they were right.

5.) 22 Sep 2019 11:30:28
They never gave the breadman enough dough.

6.) 22 Sep 2019 11:53:02
He wanted to leave did he not?

7.) 22 Sep 2019 11:53:22
at yeast he got us promoted.

8.) 22 Sep 2019 15:27:48
Aye but his tactics had got a bit crusty.

9.) 22 Sep 2019 19:22:42
Always felt like an outsider I heard.

There were some proper idiots shouting at the game today. You know that feeling when you just want to say "HAWL, SIT DOON AND SHUT THE **** UP". People were going way over the top at points!

We will all no doubt agree what was said to Scott Brown by that boy was absolutely horrible. I am in no way defending what he said. The whole punishment and witch hunt of the boy doesn't sit comfortably with me though. A lot of people are forgetting that the lad is a child after all. Therefore, a 5 year ban and a face to face apology would've been a more appropriate punishment. A life time ban for a child saying something in a moment of sheer stupidity seems a bit much. There are fans of both sides who have served life for murdering someone from the other side after an oldfirm derby. They are now out moving on with their life and now, going to games etc. Yet this boy will never be allowed through the doors of Ibrox again. I am happy to see justice being served for Broony. But where is the justice in life time bans for 15 year old children? Am I being too soft in my old age?

C_of_Ibrox

1.) 13 Sep 2019 16:54:11
If it was an adult a lifetime ban would be fair enough. But for a 15 year old seems harsh. We all did stupid stuff when we were 15.

2.) 13 Sep 2019 17:04:11
Too soft in your old age pal. Who has these thoughts let alone says them? It’s disgusting. 15 is old enough to know.

I’d like to say education is the answer but maybe it’s deeper rooted. One can only imagine what his parents are like.

The ban is appropriate and hopefully one day, he can reflect on what he’s missing out tonight on and use the free time to contribute something positive. Wishful thinking I’m certain.

3.) 13 Sep 2019 17:28:25
You would think nobody had ever made a mistake before ✌️.

4.) 13 Sep 2019 17:59:01
I think this one strike and your out method is OTT, we all make mistakes, but the punishment should be appropriate to the crime. Stupid and offensive thing to say, several year ban and move on.

5.) 13 Sep 2019 18:25:21
Would have liked Rangers to try and educate the boy and make an example of him. Yes he was in the wrong but we live in a country where we can get redemption for any crime. This should be no different if the lad would be willing. Maybe a better way of dealing with kids of a similar ilk.

6.) 13 Sep 2019 21:22:52
Lifetime ban sits fine with me. iv said b4, there’s a line that just shouldn’t be crossed. i genuinely hope this sets an example and that the club continues to ban absolute morons that spout this kind of rubbish.15 or not, I’m pleased that he’s banned.

7.) 14 Sep 2019 07:11:06
People can and should be allowed to change. A lifetime ban is excessive. The law allows people to rehabilitate but football fans are not?

8.) 14 Sep 2019 09:56:39
have to agree with Gersdaft, think he's spot on.

Don't think he is the standard we need to be honest. I know plenty will disagree but I think if we are going for leagues we need a bit more. Like the lad and wanted him to do well but wouldn't be to upset if he left. Would only let go to England though.
