Seen we are apparently in for 500k plus a years loan for MOH. that would be good business I think. let's him put himself in the shop window with more games

1.) 23 May 2017 08:29:56
I take it you are on about Louis moult?

2.) 23 May 2017 08:39:43
Aye as long as they pay his full wages

3.) 23 May 2017 08:58:57
They can keep moult.

4.) 23 May 2017 09:35:14
Just let them have him and tell them to keep mault I don't want mault

5.) 23 May 2017 10:01:35
Was sure I wrote Moult and posted to the banter page. But it was at half four in the morning and just oot ma bed tho lol :-)

6.) 23 May 2017 10:07:03
We need a top class striker. moult isn't the answer. dave king needs 2 get his purse oot and spend a few million

7.) 23 May 2017 11:05:10
tbh no one much was excited about Naismith coming from Killie back in the day, but when he finally got fit he was easily our best player. I'm open to giving most players a chance. Except Rob Kiernan.

8.) 23 May 2017 15:33:23
What I'm hearing is it's Naisey to rangers is close to being a done deal, Whitts is going to hibs and broaders to killie and as much as Weiss would like to come back we won't pay over 1M for him killing that deal. Patterson also won't sign he says going down south

9.) 24 May 2017 10:02:03
Moult or Boyce is definitely who we should be targeting. Proven in our league. No risk as they will score goals and that's all we need them to do.

10.) 24 May 2017 10:28:27
Moult could be class for us, for £500k they can keep MOH! Boyd is just one example of a guy scoring goals in SPL came to us and scored more goals. That's what we need. Guaranteed goals and somebody in the same league already banging them in for an inferior team is as close to that as you get.

11.) 24 May 2017 15:18:49
moult in an awful Motherwell team scored 18 how many has garner scored? how many has waggy scored?

why wouldn't u want moult rangers and celtic have been for years taking the best of the rest and either ruining their careers or help their careers but with the like of the wee thumb at celtic i think he could be as good for us as he is for them and score 30 plus as motherwell where an awfull team this year

I seen that Arsenal, Hull and more are interested in Windass too with Arsenal Favs. Was on metro online.

I think we made a mistake by not starting with Morelos and having no width.

We also lost a lot of personal battles in the first half.

Think we had a bit of a better second half, and probably with how much we had the ball we had could have had an equaliser.

But they deserved their win, they were the better team.

1.) 01 Sep 2019 18:24:49
The team that has the dominant midfielder in the old firm game, wins the game, simple as that. Their midfield were better than ours today and therefore won the game. Its always won or lost in there. Quite simply we had too many of our midfielders way off form and nowhere near their best. Steven Davis i thought was our best midfielder but that was never going to be enough.
Have to be honest and like many of our supporters, i thought today gerrard should have gone with more width, to go at their weak full backs. So gerrard has to shoulder a big part of the blame today,
although that still doesn't excuse how poorly most of our team played today, because celtic and i'm being totally honest, didn't Impress me greatly and although they deserved to win today, they are not a great team and are there for the taking!
A wee point to the some on here who still think that we are just as good without ryan kent, no we're NOT and kent is far better than jones and ojo will ever be! I wish we still had him. He's levels above both and if you can't see that, i honestly don't know what you're watching?

2.) 01 Sep 2019 19:35:19
Stevie Davis was appalling today, showed every day of his 34 years. If he was playing today he should have been rested on Thursday, can’t play two big games a week at 34.

3.) 01 Sep 2019 20:13:03
If you thought steven davis was appalling today pal, i honestly don't know what game you were viewing! 🤔
He was one of our players that i thought got pass marks today along with allan mcgregor and flanagan. If you thought davis was appalling, is there a word in the dictionary you could find for glenn kamara's performance today? He doesn't look nowhere near the player, he was last season and i wouldn't have started him.

4.) 01 Sep 2019 20:27:58
Felt sorry for Aribo first half today. The guy looked like he didn’t know where he was playing .

5.) 01 Sep 2019 21:00:41
Agreed Jaws, he looked lost, but is a quality player and will do well.

6.) 01 Sep 2019 21:35:15
Davies was poor today gave possession away numerous times. Not the worst offender. Ojo why? Tav poor Goldson sold the jerseys, what was he even trying to divfir the first goal.

7.) 01 Sep 2019 23:12:47
Sir Rock katic I've no idea what u were watching pal because if davis wasn't in that team today it would've been a lot more than 2. Maybe if aribo didn't bottle it everytime he was near brown or the rest of the team helped wee davis out a bit eh. Also is it just me or has tav been absolutely dreadful start of this season?

8.) 02 Sep 2019 15:14:27
SGL, how did Kent get on in his first 6 games for us?

I seem to remember that he was a bit lightweight, had a terrible final pass and had people suggesting he should be sent home to Liverpool.

Time will tell whether you know better than SG and the Liverpool coaching team but I suspect you will be forced to eat your words long before the end of the season.

£5 to £7m for such a fantastic player is pocket money even in the Championship - can you explain why he has been left rotting in the Liverpool reserves?

07 Dec 2017 20:07:44
If Murty gets the job i'd like to see Walter come in as an advisor and Wilkins as assistant.

Think he will need experience and strength around him.

He's been great but I get the feeling he's too used to taking kids and would need to toughen up in the long run, if its his team.

1.) 07 Dec 2017 20:47:55
shark, you are the least funny tim on this forum and that's really saying something.

04 Dec 2017 05:58:11
If a new manager is named asap, then surely the board have played a blinder by completely unsettling Aberdeen. Whether McInnis gets the job or not.

Cant take anything away from the way we have played in the last two games, actually really disappointing to have dropped some silly points before hand.

Murty is a shining example to everyone at the club, he stepped up to the plate and handled himself really well. I hope we can keep him at the club as long as possible!

If we can play with this kind of hunger week in week out, we should be winning most games.

1.) 04 Dec 2017 09:02:19
I have never posted a quote from a source but here goes my daughter knows the sister of an Aberdeen player who was involved in yesterday's game she said the dressing room are convinced Mcinnes is on his way to Ibrox this week so maybe it did unsettle them now don't shoot the messenger I am only passing on what was said so let's wait and see he isn't my choice but whoever it is I'll back him

2.) 04 Dec 2017 10:41:02
Agree. Keep saying it, there is a very decent squad there. Maybe they are beginning to believe it. The manager was always the problem. Big well done to Graham Murty.

3.) 04 Dec 2017 11:59:52
Yes, big thank you to Graeme Murty for bringing the squad together and getting us up to 2nd in the league. His passion, pride and class shone through when speaking publicly. I just hope we don’t lose him now as surely he will be on the radar of clubs now for the managers position.

Filled me with pride last week when he was telling the media what a special club we are!

4.) 04 Dec 2017 18:29:36
Can't understand why any of our fans would want to see a person who is obviously a lesser coach come in and disrupt the momentum Murty is gathering with this team. No thanks, McInnes, keep worrying the sheep.

5.) 04 Dec 2017 21:05:32
fickle lot, what was said about murty two weeks ago, then two wins now he is world class again.

25 Oct 2017 22:01:40
Unlucky tonight, Striker should have took the penalty. We are doing enough to win games but just not finishing them off or taking our chances.

Jack needs to keep his head more, he's had a few silly sending offs!

1.) 25 Oct 2017 22:08:50

Unlucky? Can’t beat the worst team in the League! What exactly was unlucky about it?

2.) 25 Oct 2017 22:13:24
Jeeze Camoo, that’s an understatement. I’ve backed Pedro as I would any manager but he’s had his chances and if his team can’t react to an abysmal performance at the weekend with a comfortable home win against a team in the bottom 2 then it’s time to go. Stewart Robertson and Douglas Parks so. Should carry the can and walk too. It hasn’t worked and we need to move on, my choice would be Jack Ross however I appreciate this would be another massive risk for the board and one they are unlikely to take, it’s just my pick. I 100% do not want McInnes, not a chance but open to suggestions. Thanks but no thanks Pedro

3.) 25 Oct 2017 22:13:29
im starting to get the feeling after every mess up there will be a sob story. Killie even being in a game at Ibrox to be in a position to nick a point of us that late isn't on

4.) 25 Oct 2017 22:29:02
Camoo unlucky? a take it you gave the game a miss? we where rotten and all over the place fir the last half hour that goal was coming

5.) 25 Oct 2017 22:36:40
jack ross would be a gamble but safer than pedro and cheap option . agree with mcinnes do not want him in the slightest. Walter won't come back even for a short time. Big sam until end of season. if we did somehow get de boer or even koeman (unlikely) but that type of manager they need to be identified over the next few months be able to watch some games see what needs addressing. the major areas are full back a solid CB CM winger another CF.

6.) 25 Oct 2017 23:10:09
dont want de boer mate. would cost a fortune and failed at palace same reason pedro is failing for us. trying to implement a style of football that doesn't suit

7.) 25 Oct 2017 23:17:41
Camoo. The team who was unlucky was Killie. They could have won it in the second half with better chances than we had. As a team we were awful. All over the place at the back, midfield again overrun and left big gaps for killie players to fill. Only positives were Holt had a good game, energetic and direct and Barjonas had some nice touches when he came on.

22 Oct 2017 17:23:11
We were unlucky today, we could have won if we'd put away our chances. Plus the ref let them away with murder. Persistent hacking the whole game man.

Like pedo sticking up for the players, he got sent off but he was right the big guy broke his nose with an elbow and was on a yellow.

Cant blame anyone other than ourselves st end of the day. But we never deserved to get beat in that game, their first was lucky and second was a screemer from a boot up the park.

We look much better than last year, I think we are just waiting on something to click.

There is obviously room for improvement, but what do folk expect?

1.) 22 Oct 2017 18:09:47
a bit of heart and fight and a hell of a lot more quality. the full motherwell team cost what rangers paid for pena. infact probably not even half. would be different if it was a 1 off and was an off day. this has been the standard since day 1. shocking and poor. so to answer your question. What do we expect a million times better.

2.) 22 Oct 2017 20:47:00
Camoo, you sound like a fan of the dark side. Yes we had chances and yes the ref was shocking but let's not forget Motherwell have a fraction of the budget we have. Ok you can lose a one off game but the lack of cohesion and fight in the second half was shocking. And it is another record this man is responsible for - the first time Motherwell have beaten us in a semi final. When is it going to register with the Pedro fans on here? This man does not have what it takes to manage our club. Yes I like the man and I love his passion but King has to do the right thing and sack him now. He is our Ronny Deila

3.) 22 Oct 2017 21:44:21
No need seeker. I'm as pissed off as anyone but I'm not comparing you or anyone else to a Celtic fan.

I'm like one of the dark side for thinking for most of the game we were actually the better side.

Aye we were not playing the best football in the world but still done enough to beat them.

We were unlucky with our chances today and their goaly made some good saves. - it just wasn't to be for us.

The ref was diabolical, that's a fact not a conspiracy theory.

I'd love for us to be challenging for everything right now but remember where we have come from in a short space of time.

I think he has the potential and engine to get into the team some day.

But its not fair to keep him here as he needs game time in order to develop.

He needs to go but I'd have a decent sell on clause in any deal.

Why all the Ojo bashing? Yes he is inconsistent, can not do much in a game but he does score and assist.

He's young and here to learn and develop, unfortunately that is part of signing young lads on loan.

This took me by total surprise! The board have given us the best response to yesterday.

Maybe we will bank the European cash as we've brought in loads of players and need to get a few more off the wage bill.

Plus who knows how much the fat man will cost us with the shirt deals and if we will get fined by Hummel.

I'd like Kent but don't think we'd spend that kind of cash unless Morelos goes first.

To be fair to the board they have been fantastic with what's been made available and we can't get too greedy, need to be sustainable.

It's a real shame, he ruined it for himself.

Katic and Barasic have both had their troubles but got the head down and let their football do the talking.

The guy got dropped to the youth team and embarrassed himself instead of working hard to turn it round.

I know its been mentioned before but what would the real benefit be from buying back the company now? So much has been done and invested into the club since it all went wrong.

This might spark debate but without the intent to offend anyone, surely that would be nothing more than a vanity project and not worth 20m?

The major issue here in my opinion is that HMRC had alleged we owed more than triple what we did.

20m would have been manageable for a club like ours, 70m scared off any decent investment we could have hoped for and Murray washed his hands when it came to Whyte.

I kinda disagree with most, our squad was built bigger to help the team cope with the amount of games we need to play.

Its a double edged sword really, you want your best players for every game but we need to think about the bigger picture its a long season and good players could get tired and more susceptible to injury in the long term which you want to avoid especially if we are in contention.

The players that we are able to rotate to are good players and should be coming in and using these games as an opportunity to move into being first pick.

We can't moan as other teams are in the same boat, help from SFA is welcome but we have a big squad because we have these games remember. Two for every position.

I agree that everyone makes mistakes but he's cost us single handedly a massive 3 points in Europe and cost us points in the league resulting in us dropping back to second putting them back in the driving seat.

I'm not going to rip him apart, but he is the captain and the one who is supposed to inspire the team, but he's having a dip in form and think he needs a rest.

Maybe he is in his own head, could all have started with the missed pens and getting worse.

Give him a couple of weeks off to sort it out and bring in Flanagan.

Borna is playing well enough at the moment to accommodate that.
