EHL,
I'll wait and see what the account have to say about the Cortes transfer fee. Much is said about transfer fees on here, and much of it does not tie in with the published accounts. Who on here said Rangers were letting 5 players go last summer (including Lammers) for £800k? What Rangers pay players, and sell players for, is always a bit mental and not what you would normally expect.
I would also say that my point still stand with regards to getting in to debt, and borrowing based on future incomes. I don't believe this club should be doing that because it was a disaster for us in the past. Then again, Rangers are a club that don't seem to learn from mistakes.
I'm sure many on here would love to see the club go and spend millions in January with a view to paying the fees later down the line - I don't. I sat in Ibrox when we were in division three and I don't want to do it ever again. I want this club to live within its means and spend only the money it has. Any future money should be reserved in case we end up changing manager who might want to sign their own players. Instead of being obligated to buy the players signed by a previous coach.

"When did the manager talk about administration? "
You don't need me to answer that. Simply google it. The manager said the fans do not want the club to go into administration again. The very fact he said that must mean admin is a possibility. If it is not a possibility why on Earth would he say it?

"Nsiala is a 20 year old"
A 20 year old that left AC Milan to come to Glasgow for a reason. That reason was not to sit in the reserves, he could be doing that in Italy.
I suspect Nsiala had hopes of first team football, or was made promises to that effect. Why else would he come to Glasgow? If he's just going to rot in the youth academy then he needs to get out ASAP just like Bailey Rice and a whole host of others.

Given Rangers finances I think other clubs might demand most fees up front. The manager was talking about admin just a few months ago, there was an issue paying Hagi's wages, and the club announced massive losses at the AGM.
Thinking this club can get £5m players without paying much up front might be wrong. Also, why would the club want to get into that much future debt? The club are already obligated to pay £4m next summer for Cortes. Are they really going to take on more multi-million pound deals in the January that will need serviced over the summer months?
Come the summer there will be little left to spend and most of you will be demanding big changes to the squad. Especially is Celtic win another treble.

Would we be signing him to help us win the Scottish Cup? I mean, it would never be a permanent move. Pointless and won't happen. There's little motivation to spend in January as our season is all but over and the club is losing a lot of money.

Celtic would need to drop a minimum of 10 points even if Rangers won all their games between now and the end of the season. Up until this point Celtic have only dropped 4 points. Do you think Rangers are going to go on a 20 game unbeaten run, while Celtic just collapse? I admire your optimism. But the chances of Rangers winning the league are slim to none.
If you genuinely feel Rangers will win the league the bookies will give you fantastic odds.

Danilo was always a great player. We signed a Dutch title winner. He was just very unlucky in that he suffered two major injures right after he signed. Face smashed in, then his leg. Had he been fit from the day Beale signed him things could have turned out very different for him and Rangers that season.

I felt King was thrown under the bus by Rangers who played him in all six games of a disastrous Champions League campaign. The young lad was expected to go from youth academy level, to playing the cream of Europe? His confidence was destroyed, the EPL scouts who came to see him turned away, and the fans wrote him off.
Young Leon King, who was once described as a "generational talent". Just another example of Rangers inability to develop youth players.
King needs to get out of Rangers and just go play football. Go to another SPFL team, play as a regular CB, and grow in to the mans game. In a few years he could fulfil his promise. I don't believe that will happen at Rangers.

I'm shocked he said Bailey Rice wouldn't make it. Rice was one of the highest rated players in his age range while at Motherwell. He was more highly rated than Lennon Miller. I firmly believe that Rice would be playing forst-team football for Motherwell had he stayed there. His career has stagnated at Rangers and now he is being written off.
Meanwhile, Lennon Miller who was his midfield partner at Motherwell has come on leaps and bounds. HE's worth millions and is now miles ahead of Rice.
This is clear evidence that Rangers youth academy is failing. I bet if you were to ask Rice in private if he regrets the move to Rangers he would say he does. There's no way a boy with that talent wants to sit in our reserves until his best years are behind him. He needs to get out. Many of them do.

Rangers need to win every single game they play between now and the end of the season to come close. Even then, they might have the better goal advantage which leaves Rangers needing another team to do us a favour. Celtic have only dropped 4 points all season up until this point. We would need them to totally collapse.
