One thing I really like about Beale, he has the capacity and willingness to change things up when they aren't working. I don't think GVB quite had that in his managerial locker.

I know many will disagree with me, but I thought his changes in the OF were unlucky as I believe he was looking to get them on the counter. We had 2 or 3 very decent chances to catch them on the counter, just lacked the quality to put them away. And it really was school-boy defending for their second that no manager could compensate for.

I agree about his subs in OF, I knew the reasoning and idea at the time.

Hindsight is wonderful because it never worked due to poor taking of counter opportunities and sands stuck himself out like a sore thumb which highlights that it should have been arfield for Tillman.

We have improved and managers will get it wrong sometimes, he’s done well so far overall I think we can all agree.

Does anyone think that Gerrard is in a bit of a quandary with regards to Kent and Morelos? Both are sellable assets who have gone off the boil.

Does Gerrard keep playing them, hoping they improve their form and therefore increase their value, or give someone else a chance in their place, and still hope that a decent offer arrives when it is time to move them on?

On kent and morelos can't see either leaving until the summer at the earliest, so got to hope both will be back in form by then, personally would play both on Saturday along with roofe as there movement will pull celtic defence to pieces.

2.) 29 Dec 2020 17:27:40
We need them dropped 2 weeks ago to give them a boot in the arse and get back in tonight ready for the Celtic game that would been my thinking but I’m not gerrard so fair enough, however the same would apply again before euro tie in February as we need a strong 11 all on top of there game. That mob Antwerp beat Spurs albeit not spurs 11. I do feel gerrard can be overly loyal at times to players but instances like tabs turn in form shows it does work in some instances.

Kent is way off it, however just his presence alone pulls 2 players towards him leaving spaces for others. Wee man will come good again.

Spot on herewego55.

Wee Kent works his socks off for the team and he never hides even if he has two men marking him. I agree with Herewego wee man will regain his form and tear some team apart.

Rangers are in a fantastic place right now and, as long as we take it 1 game at a time I can see this being an incredibly successful season for us.

The main reason for this post however, is to say does anyone else feel a bit for Neil Lennon?

Like Scott Brown, you absolutely hate him in football terms but is the sort of player/ personality you would love in your own team (when at the peak of their powers), bossing games and winding opposition players and fan's up.

For everything that guy has done for Celtic, and tot hen be turned on in that fashion is disgusting.

Best fans in the world, aye right.

You for real i remember Lennon wanting us sent down to third tier. Saying he had no sympathy for us. Well what goes around comes around get it up him and brown for that matter.

2.) 29 Nov 2020 22:18:05
Any other player or manager then yes I'd maybe feel for them.
But NFL has taken great pleasure from our downfall and doing the aeroplane while at hivs still sticks in my throat.
Hes made his own bed so I say let him lie in it.
🔴⚪🔵.

3.) 29 Nov 2020 22:19:16
Nah sorry, not one iota of sympathy for either and never will have. Remember they wanted us dead and buried. Never forget. I for one am loving the meltdown.

4.) 29 Nov 2020 22:49:20
Banxger you beat me to it mate.

5.) 30 Nov 2020 00:41:28
I’m actually kinda stuck for words, really can’t believe what I just read,

Then his horrible hateful contorted face screwed up and ugly in ally Maoist’s face, the aeroplane at Easter rd, the ranting about Rangers being handed the heaviest of punishment, the endless nasty tackles against rangers players

And then, the march across ibrox with his father figure O’Neil, to join in the terror songs, fxxk him.

6.) 30 Nov 2020 07:26:27
Its rangers and rangers only for me!
I don't feel one bit of sympathy, or any sympathy towards that club in general or any other scottish club for that matter! They laughed and sconced our great club and took great pleasure in doing so 😡F**k the lot of them! Remember they wanted our club put out the game altogether! For the obsessive eastend mob, KARAMA my friends 😂😂.

7.) 30 Nov 2020 09:19:09
No sympathy at all for the Lurgan Bigot.
Ironically the same fans who once held a candlelight vigil for him are now calling him for everything and want to chase him out of town.
Where's the concern for his mental health now?

Supposedly a family member was running a rangers leaks Twitter page and the boy was passing on lots of info. Also, he had terrible attitude about training and is generally a wee ned.
Not sure if this is the same thing John has heard as this isn't particularly explosive news, however just passing on what I'd heard as it's a rumours site and someone asked the question.

I think Davies has shown he is a very good CB.

Definitely changes required, but a but dramatic to say the team needs ripped up.

Completely agree. Players are never going to really improve if they are playing against dross every week.

Agreed, we are really tough to watch just but I've always said that churning out 3 points consistently regardless of how you play is the sign of Champions (although probably too little too late for this season, which is no fault of Mr Beale) .

I should acknowledge that it's not Celtic's fault they play in a diddy league as you can only play what's in front of you. We need to push them better which should in theory make both teams stronger and make the league stronger.
