Guys, don't think the ferguson rumour is too way out, our mid has been superb, Kamara and Aribo will be big money targets, Davis is the brain, but reqs game management. we are a club that req to sell, Ferguson may already be a rangers acquisition, non officially.

Perhaps a slight agreement as part of the Mccrorie deal? 1st refusal and the chance to match any bid? Ferguson would be a good signing. Couldn’t replace Kamara though. Diff type of player but definetely a great prospect.

2.) 08 Nov 2020 13:43:19
I’d like to see Ferguson ultimately replace Arfield. I think Arfield has a few years left, those years could be vital to Ferguson’s development. if we sign him!

But IMO would be a good signing.

3.) 08 Nov 2020 17:40:05
Mince. We don't do 'non official' signings, we're not a club that requires to sell no matter what the tims think, and Ferguson wouldn't be in front of at least five of our midfield players.

4.) 09 Nov 2020 10:41:24
thoroughly expect us to go after ferguson at the end of the season if he keeps his good form.

5.) 10 Nov 2020 19:10:46
Could do a lot worse. I reckon he would make a great successor to either Davis or arfield. Has been improving every season for Aberdeen and I recon could get even better at us. I'm not saying he would walk straight into our team but could be moulded into a top class box to box midfielder. He has goals in his game includinglong range shooting, works hard, gets about the pitch, does the dirty side of the game and has decent distribution. I was told at start of the season that there is a gentleman's agreement that was made when mccrorie went up there. The deal would see us wave his fee and get a reduced fee for Ferguson.

IMHO I don't believe that SG has became our new manager on the back of a 6mil share issue. why would a player who has played at the very top of the game, captained his country chance blemishing his inaugural footsteps into management, doesn't add up. something going on, and it may be this time we are playing our cards close to our chests. if we tell all and sundry we have millions to spend, then bang average players and there agents want plenty. let's do it all on the quiet and surprise the haters.

Well here is a cracker, I've recently read that Stevie G is in a win win situation. He is seemingly on loan to Rangers at Liverpools request. They see him as a future manager and want to see how he copes in a more difficult enviornment than what he will deal with at Liverpool. Nobody within either club expect him to be in Glasgow for 4 years. As i was told yesterday this is a rumours site when i told a few of you too stop talking single fish and the above is an absolute belter of a rumour. Now how many of you are going to give this some thought as it is as comicial as the 50mil investment rumours that turned you too a Slavering laughing stock. If there was investment Davey boy would have been the very first person too tell us. This notion of we have secret investment that we are keeping quiet to stop clubs fleecing us is absolutely ludicris. Last season Davey boy openly said we would get all the season ticket money. Lies. Clubs are extremely cautious about dealing with us financially due to our poor financial situation. A fresh investment headline would only improve our situation and give us a more positive window, instead of the Jaime Murphy saga. Stop trying to invent a postive spin on this guys we only end up disapointed. We deserve better. Who all here are buying shares, if they ever appear? i'm pretty sure there was also talk of a share issue last year, then when we got pumped out of Europe it disapeared. Tread carefully fellow bears, stop jumping on the bandwagon we are a lot more credible as a fan group without the slavering.

Full of pish

3.) 08 May 2018 10:38:49
Think there is a large discrepancy between money available and money required. We all know there are places crying out for decent player ie CH but I think there are a few players in current squad who may become gems under SG. Even Mcoist was **** at beginning of gers career.

From Sky website on the 29.04.18

Liverpool loaning Steven Gerrard to Rangers, says Andy Dunn

It's almost as though Liverpool are sending Gerrard out on loan, " he told the Sunday Supplement. "It's like a player who is 18 or 19 years old and they go and have a year here or there.

"It's like Liverpool have told Steven he's not going to be the manager here for quite a while, so go out on what would be a good loan move for him.

"Go and get a taste of big crowds, big pressure, a local rivalry that is every bit as tense as Liverpool and Everton or Manchester United and Manchester City.

"I'm sure Rangers wouldn't see it this way but its good experience for Gerrard for what's going to lie ahead.

"Rangers is a really tough gig for your first managerial gig. You're not just dealing with a team on the training ground and dealing with your media duties, there's everything else that goes with managing an Old Firm team.

5.) 08 May 2018 11:43:10
"Almost as though".

You can't loan a manager. He just means metaphorically as everyone sees Gerrard as the future Liverpool manager

6.) 08 May 2018 11:59:41
DVT we all know Steve is here to prove himself as a manager then return to the EPL as a top flight manager if he succeeds here. To suggest he is only on loan here makes me think you are a timco fan spouting garbage you alone supposedly heard.

7.) 08 May 2018 12:20:12
Why is it okay for Gerrard to use the club as a stepping stone to the English league, but fans were furious with Warburton when he alluded to that?

8.) 08 May 2018 12:24:28
Wooly as i stated myself, this rumours site has become almost laughable over the last week. It is however another rumour about Gerrard. Not a believable one like 50mil investment but a rumour none the less.

9.) 08 May 2018 13:08:47
Bunnet - I only copied ans pasted off the sky website . To suggest i'm a tim i say grow up Bumnet.

10.) 08 May 2018 17:28:51
Players use our league as a stepping stone all the time, if they are successful then they must have played well enough to deserve it which means that our clubs got the benefit of that so why can’t managers do the same. If SG is only here to build his cv for something more then surely he will know that only success will bring him that. We should expect 100% from the manager and he will give that as he has a purpose and a focus to be successful (he knows the world is watching and if he fails then who would want to hire that) .

I think we got away with it today, however Ryan Jack injury may e long term or recurring, going back to the Ross McCrorrie transfer, this may have been a pre emptive deal to securing Lewis Ferguson in this months window, any thoughts bears.

Nice thought but deep down I think we need better. LF is not a champions league level player, LOL.

2.) 02 Jan 2021 22:39:46
Jacks had knee problems for a long time. we missed him today great result tho.

3.) 02 Jan 2021 23:07:07
Splits opinion mate. I definitely think he is good enough but can’t see it to be honest. Certainly not this January!

4.) 03 Jan 2021 00:15:38
Fergie I think is maybe not good enough, although I did think at the time it was possibly part of a summer deal.

5.) 03 Jan 2021 00:26:20
Hope not!

6.) 03 Jan 2021 02:28:46
Don't know the details. But I'd love Ferguson at ibrox.

7.) 03 Jan 2021 08:54:59
Sorry guys, not nearly good enough for me. If we sign him I'd love to be wrong mind you.

8.) 03 Jan 2021 09:27:15
We need to sign up the best players in Scotland we missed one in turnball let’s not lose ferguson.

9.) 03 Jan 2021 21:37:47
The Tim's would be gutted if we got him, he's quite popular with the residents in Tainted Town, I'd like to see him at Ibrox.

A decent performance today, second string to a certain extent, played like a training game as it should have. More game time for our new players. moregame time generally for the squad. A decent exercise with a decent result. Big games in the future, nice to know we have back up 😀😀.

Should've been far more clinical in front of goal and won by, at least five! Anyway no injuries on a plastic pitch which is a plus point

Other plus points was Aribo was head and shoulders above the rest Quality player Helander and Edmundston look to have a decent calibre Defoe is just Defoe Brilliant again

Didnt see much of Docherty He was in and out of the game Greg Stewart, if he continues to play like this, is miles behind the rest! A poor game for Halliday in my opinion

Didnt see enough of the new signings but these guys still need to catch up and I'm expecting Andy King to add real quality to the team Giving he's has masses of Premiership experience and a League winner with Leicester 👍.

2.) 18 Aug 2019 20:19:11
Kaz Defoe should have had five.

3.) 18 Aug 2019 21:07:52
Jermain Defoe is the ultimate pro. Does’nt matter who the guys playing East Fife or Barcelona they get same effort and respect. If the young guys don’t learn off of this guy they can’t be taught.

4.) 18 Aug 2019 21:15:12
It don't matter what we win by end of we win. It was to say our B team and it don't look great.

5.) 19 Aug 2019 11:31:25
Halliday was rank. Don't think he found a blue shirt once, if that was barisic performing like that all the usual suspects would be on slaughtering him. Being a rangers fan gives him some leeway with our fans he had an absolute stinker 4 out of 10 is being generous.

6.) 19 Aug 2019 11:34:02
kamaras worst game to date. without question. concerning.

09 Aug 2019 21:51:36
The way I see it, we're bringing in young, raw talented pros who, with the proper management will, A. Give us a title winning team, B give us a run in European competition and C Bring in serious transfer money when the big money comes calling. The future is bright and the bluebells are blue.

Katic and Goodson looked pretty good early on in the season, however we've tinkered with Worral and now we have a centre defence that are hopeless, tavs always even a liability but Flanagan is a joke, how he earns his cash as a defender I will never know. Alfies goal was wrongly ruled offside, and could have had a huge bearing on the outcome. in the whole, a poor performance, we should have taken 6 points from them. f@cking sick.

I admire SG for getying us to the group stages, he still has a lot to learn, 1st thing is to get a settled back 4, stop bloody changing the defence, it has to be the mainstay of the team . Were 20 games into the season and he is still mixing it up .

2.) 10 Nov 2018 16:17:52
Mixing it up thru necessity. Katic got injured . Wirral cane in two good games two bad . Katic back in bad game . Worrall given another chance another two bad games then Katic tonight . it will come good again.
