3.) 22 Jun 2015 18:04:33
Gardner, I am going to trust the STV website, sorry. They say he is.

4.) 22 Jun 2015 18:09:14
STV seems to think otherwise.

5.) 22 Jun 2015 18:10:17
nonsense

6.) 22 Jun 2015 18:21:38
I may have spoke too soon

7.) 22 Jun 2015 18:35:27

12.) 22 Jun 2015 18:46:48
It's on bbc sport that's he's having a medical just now and will sign a 3 year deal! Hopefully the first of many!

13.) 22 Jun 2015 18:52:33
yes he is has just signed for rangers

14.) 22 Jun 2015 18:56:27
BBC news he has signed 3yr deal

15.) 22 Jun 2015 19:17:57
Good signing. He will be a better player than that who left for Liverpool and they don't buy rubbish even though it did not work out. Too young too soon for them now we will reap rewards.

{Ed039's Note - I am sure Ed001 would disagree with that statement about Liverpool and them not buying rubbish)

16.) 22 Jun 2015 19:58:53
Agreed signed 3 year deal on BBC sport and kiernan tomorrow

17.) 22 Jun 2015 20:47:54
Is this Gardner fella in hiding now?

18.) 23 Jun 2015 02:34:50
Liverpool don't buy rubbish?? have you seen their recent transfer history?

Rangers have bid £800k for Scott Allan.

DeanoMack

1.) 18 Jun 2015 14:47:46
Now the Ally defenders, will say with some grounds for their opinion, that Scott Allan was a risk through previous injuries.
But last years price was £zippo and if you are right this year an £800,000 higher spend. Doesn't that quite nicely sum up Rangers over many years- spending far more than was necessary?

2.) 18 Jun 2015 15:15:46
Would be a good signing but do we really want to pay that sort of money for someone in their last year?

3.) 18 Jun 2015 16:06:55
I'd say it's worth it. We're getting a player who's proven he's head and shoulders above the level of the Championship and it also means Hibs suffer a heavy blow by losing him. A win-win.

4.) 18 Jun 2015 16:34:02
as a hibby he wouldn't be a major blow maybe a bit of a blow but we still have some strength I think he may go at £800k is he worth that mmm I will wait and see

5.) 18 Jun 2015 17:33:04
Aye, I must say every game I saw him play last year, maybe apart from the last Ibrox one, he stood out. He's a good player, mobile, has a bit of dig and a swagger about him. I think Ally boobed big time by not signing him when he had the chance. As Deano says, he would enhance us by as much as it weakens Hibs. Can only be a good thing

6.) 18 Jun 2015 19:02:41
I don't believe this rumour but I believe we will get him. If he was brought in last year he would have probably been sold like McLoed, so we could look at it that way as a positive. 800k is nothing guys come on. He's a fantastic player and only 23. A good investment I think. And as for the Hibs fan, this WOULD be a massive blow for you as he was by far your best player.

7.) 18 Jun 2015 21:40:13
He should be a priority signing. He was one big stand out in division last year and only going to get better! Also like the lad at St mitten that got speared he'd be another good signing and would weaken a challenger

8.) 18 Jun 2015 23:39:58
Don't want to get in2 paying over the odds again. £800,000 is far to much to pay 4 a player wth a yr to go!

9.) 19 Jun 2015 11:39:28
eezyeez he was a big part in hibs last season but 1 man doesn't make a team we have and will buy player who will be a good standard £800k is a lot of money for rangers at the moment so we will wait and see I also would like to see mcgeoch back at hibs as I felt he was on par with Allan in my opinion

A few websites are linking us with a move for Atletico Madrid winger Cristian Rodríguez. Can't quite see this one happening though.

DeanoMack

1.) Aye QUEENS PARK RANGERS lol!

{Ed001's Note - gets confusing the links to Rangers being QPR a lot of the time. We found it a problem with setting up our football news site, so we have just decided to never call them Queens Park Rangers and always use QPR. I think other sites deliberately use the full name just in the hope of getting extra clicks from Rangers fans.}

2.) Maybe Queens Park Rangers

3.) Right now we couldnae sign a winger from dukla pumpherston if the fee was 2 lucky bags and a balloon

4.) Yeah, I found this far too coincidental. They do state that "QPR and Glasgow Rangers" are interested and that we hope to persuade him to play for a club with our history. But I think there's been some sort of translational mix up. Probably Spanish media saying "Rangers" and the British media have jumped on it to make a story.

5.) I would like to know why everybody is thinking that just because david king has some shares now that there will be signings made don't forget Nothing has changed there is still 1 Million loss every month.
So can people wake up start to do some homework the Club is in a terrible mess from Top to bottom

6.) Also queen park rangers

7.) We'd be lucky to sign anybody from Bellshill lAthletic the now never mind Athletico Madrid with the state we are in

8.) Gnw 2012, This is a rumours page mate. I seen this on a news article and posted it on here. You seem to wholeheartedly believe everything about Rangers fincancial situation that is reported in the media. So why do you dismiss this news report so easily? Apologies for utilising this page for what it is, a rumours forum.

Kris Boyd signing will be confirmed at some point today.

DeanoMack

23 Jun 2014 07:02:19
The Scottish Express and various other news sources reporting that Kris Boyd is heading to Ibrox this afternoon to discuss a potential one year deal (with the option of another year). Seems we are the front runners to sign him now. Hopefully we can push this one over the line and restore a sense of familiarity into the squad. Miller and Boyd will be lethal together next season.

DeanoMack

1.) 23 Jun 2014 16:32:50
deals done!!

2.) Yeah, I'm seeing a few sites reporting that. Just waiting for confirmation from Rangers official website/Facebook! I'm ecstatic! Should walk this league no bother!

Not a rumor as such, but does anyone know if we will be allocating squad numbers this season? It would be nice to see some names on the back of the shirt again.

DeanoMack

1.) Yes, we will have squad numbers again next season. Since the league reconstruction, the top two tiers, SPFL Premiership and Championship, use squad numbers and names on their shirts. Whereas before, only the SPL did this.

2.) Deanomack it won't be hard to remember there names cause ide imagine our manager will use the same eleven in league and cup games lol

The only ones I would take another punt on would be Boyd and Vuckic. I think Boyd, given better service and better training would be decent to have for squad depth.

As much as I'd love to see Nikica Jelavic back in a Rangers jersey. It's not going to happen. He's already said he doesn't want to play in the English Championship. So fat chance of him coming here. Also, he took a 30% wage cut due to relegation and his wages are still sitting as high as £30,000-a-week.

Barrie McKay, 19 years old - 46 appearances.
Lewis Macleod, 20 years old - 55 appearances.
Robbie Crawford, 21 years old - 51 appearances.
Fraser Aird, 19 years old - 59 appearances.
Sebastien Faure, 23 years old - 58 appearances.
Nicky Clark, 23 years old - 30 appearances.

Seems McCoist has a knack of "seeing the light".
