Not a frequent poster gents but long time reader. Just want to gauge opinion on this one: this is the same group of players who were winning games easily earlier this season and what has changed since then?

Did things change behind the scenes when we brought in a new director of football? I have not seen any benefit since appointing Wilson. Not saying this is the cause for our diabolical form but it's the only thing we have changed.

Pressure on them they couldn't handle and now don't have the character to fight back.

That was pretty dire to say the least. We have to be winning these games at home. We could have played for another 90 minutes and not put the ball in the back of the net. Coulibaly is a complete waste of a jersey. Never quite understood the high opinions of him. He's had a couple decent games since joining and then been somewhat useless in most other games in my opinion. I just don't get the fascination with him. Morelos doing himself no favours tonight and none of the players getting pass marks. Need to move on from this and get back to winning ways this weekend.

Morelos last 30 games 17 goals but also 15 cards needs sorting also whole team were pish tonite and manager doesn’t seem to know how to beat the sheep.

Morning bears. It's been a couple of days since the game and I've watched it back and would like to offer my perspective on things:

I think back to exactly this time last year when we were in the process of being put out of Europe by a team - that in all fairness, Rangers should be beating. It got me thinking: - we had spent the same amount of money on players if not more than we have at this stage of this season and we were not able to win. Fast forward a year and we have a new coaching team in place lead by Stevie G and the majority of us are full of optimism and quite rightly so. He's added to the team, a group of players who will do significantly better than the junk we had last year. It's true that Thursday was not a great performance but yet we won the game and kept a clean sheet which should be enough to take to the away leg and see us qualify for the next round. Point is - we didn't play great but we won the game and that is sometimes needed . had we played like that last year under our previous management (Murty included) we may have struggled.

The journey has just begun bears and I for one think it will be a successful one. Couple more additions to the team and we will be there or there about.

If it is to be believed that we previously rejected an offer from a Chinese team - quoted to be around the 7 million mark, why on earth would we now sell for a figure of half that amount when he looks to have screwed the nut and playing considerably better whilst enjoying himself. I hope we do not sell as it may undermine the manager as he seems to like Morelos a lot.

DEEB, get your point to an extent but both; Defoe and Davis were 15 / 16 year old kids 20 years ago whose bodies were not even fully developed yet. Look at Rossiter’s struggles to overcome injuries at the age of 21. We cannot weaken our team for must win away games because of fear of injuries.

Would be great if McCrorie continues to develop his game at Rangers, and who better to learn from than Stevie Gerrard. In addition, in a couple of years his brother has a good chance of becoming our number one between the sticks.

Must spell the end for someone in the team. Possibly means we won’t persue the permanent signing of Coulibaly and could mean we will release Rossiter? Hope I’m wrong about Rossiter as I’m desperate for him to make it with us.

I think it was a good post super as it’s good to see the opinions of fellow bears on any topic. Was pleased with the reaction of full team after our win against celtic - it showed we are all in it together and Tav deserved it. Watched it in Bangkok and cannot remember getting home after it. There was 2 of them and about 30 of us.
