Has anyone heard the rumour about us getting 2 players on loan from Arsenal? If so, who are they? I heard them talking about it briefly on ssb clyde.

Giroud and Walcott lol HH.

2.) 02 Nov 2016 16:27:28
Zezalem and Adelaide? I'd love for it to be Iwobi, but I know that won't be the case.

3.) 02 Nov 2016 20:40:09
Read my post about 2 arsenal players.

4.) 02 Nov 2016 20:45:19
Wee rumour from a sound source my friend is a regular golfer and was down in London at the weekend playing in a charity golf match stand up to cancer he was paired with Steve Gatting of Arsenal. Gatting told him that they where impressed with the treatment and development of Zelalem and are looking to loan the gers Christopher Willock promising winger and Krystian Bielik Centre half for 2 full seasons just passing on what I've been told this is a copy of my post that I did 2 weeks ago now they are talking about on ssb clyde maybe some mileage in this rumour.

Aye fair play stewarty, hope it ends up someone with more to offer than two 18 year olds! Although they are very highly rated.

I think we should take a look at Omar Bogle, he's a center forward (grimsby, 23, 6"2, in all teams and competitions he's scored 97 goals in 184 games.

I realise we need to strengthen other areas but we also need to start putting away the chances we do create.

How's it gone Dutchy 👍 definitely need another striker.

11 Dec 2016 18:58:27
Was at the game yesterday best game I've been to this season the crowd were brilliant too. Great reception for joe garner also.

What areas of the team do we firstly need to strengthen now? I would say going on our recent performances a striker that can convert chances as i think we waste a lot still.

I would like to see us with a quality holding midfield player and a quality box to box midfield player with both able to crunch into tackles and distribute the ball in a similar manner to Souness. Thing is that I remain confident that Rossiter will be able to play one of these roles if and when he is fit.

2.) 12 Dec 2016 15:15:33
Centre half and another winger at least.

3.) 12 Dec 2016 15:59:11
We badly need a playmaker in middle of the park someone who always wants on the ball! Weve been linked with lansbury he would be perfect but he will be in demand! Going forward rossiter will be like a new signing that would address the middle of the park! In summer i'd like a partner for wilson and a pair of fullbacks! Upfront I think garner would suit someone feeding off him, kenny could do that job if we played that system but he's getting past his best, so a younger kenny miller for me please.

4.) 12 Dec 2016 18:39:16
How many of you bears would give Miller another years contract. I would be tempted .

5.) 12 Dec 2016 20:44:52
Would definitely give him another season and unless we sign a new quality centre back I would give Hill another year as well.

6.) 13 Dec 2016 10:28:14
okay hill is one of the ones i'd say has done surprisingly well but i'd be looking fro a better faster centre back than him.
miller deserves another contract he is fitter and is one of the most versatile in our squad but would only give a 1 year deal not two.

7.) 13 Dec 2016 11:12:14
There's deserving and there's what what the club needs to do to challenge Celtic and make Champions League football and chucking sentimentality aside we need better than a Miller at 38 next year and a Hill at 39. The step up required needs a new level of quality and we have to make room for it.

8.) 13 Dec 2016 20:05:41
If we are serious about challenging Celtic then we definitely need a quality centre back that has a decent pedigree. Not a lot of them about in our price range. If we are looking at sentimentality etc., then Halliday should be no where near the team and arguably neither should Holt so we need to replace both of thee guys with quality midfield players and in terms of people that can do a job for us both on and off the park, Miller warrants another season, perhaps with a coaching role added. I would also like to see a quality left back to challenge Wallace.

9.) 14 Dec 2016 23:30:53
100% Miller should get a new deal, we would be several points worse off without him. Even at his age he is still the best player at ibrox.

10.) 14 Dec 2016 09:48:38
We need a goal scoring striker. We haven't scored anywhere near enough goals in the league and missed a load of chances on Saturday. Garner played well on Saturday however he never looked like scoring. If we ever want to do anything we need a striker creative midfielder and a no nonsense Centre half.

11.) 14 Dec 2016 17:52:48
Kfraser, some said the same about big davie weir all those years ago and look how long, and how well he performed for us. Of course we need to look for longterm replacements for both kenny miller and clint hill! In saying that i most definitely think both should be given another 1 year deal, without a shadow of a doubt!

Edgar Manucharyan used be at ajax and the italian guy macheda ex man u both out contract too. Prob way out our wage budget but lots of other players just like they 2 with no club. If only!

1.) 10 Oct 2016 02:36:01
Dutchy boy you smoking the Dutch stuff, these boys won't come to us. let's be content with what we have, pay their wages and our debts and see where we are at the end of the year.

08 Oct 2016 06:12:13
What abt keiran richardson for another left bk for us for cover and compitition, out of contract, warbs should know him.

NO MONEY!

I know its just about impossible we will get to the leagues dwn south.

But what about a british cup. With the winners getting a european spot in europa league or some sort of similar set up.

It might even give the English and Scottish FA a taste of how good it would be us in ther leagues

?

1.) 08 Oct 2016 09:30:07
Good idea but I think it's now up to us to sort our own football in Scotland. We need young innovative people at the helm of the SFA. Instead of the dinosaurs currently in charge. We need huge investment in our game but to get that we need to make the product more attractive.

We need roofed stadiums for a start. Smaller clubs need to ground share. I was thinking that we should start a university league, much like that in the states for Anerican football and basketball. Get people supporting her local university teams and allow the development and education of our youth. Then we can make some world class players.

If we are producing world class players, that people will want to see and more importantly will pay to see then put pro clubs will benefit when they sign pro in the yearly draft.

This would have a knock on effect for the national team. If the national team are doing well on an international stage then people will sit up and take notice, more importantly, investors will look at our product differently.

Build from the youth up. Get rid of the dinousaurs. It can be done.

2.) 08 Oct 2016 11:51:14
they should do a "british" cup. get rid of the league cups and do it in sections.

3.) 08 Oct 2016 13:27:46
A just said tht mate above totally agree with u a think it would be great to watch.

It would pull in big attendances, and also attract tv deals. Even if the top english teams opt out of it i bet even the smaller premiership english teams would want involved.

Im sure a lot of british players would want involved in it too.

4.) 08 Oct 2016 13:35:07
How would you put this plan forward? And who would we go to about it, anyone know? Could be worth a shot.

5.) 08 Oct 2016 13:46:29
Sorry. and who does decide who runs our game. i'm NOT a bitter fan tht we were unfairly relegated dwn the lges.

Tht did anger me at the time obv. But i just think it should be ex footballers or managers etc tht run the gme, proper football people.

Even fans can do a better job thn the people tht run scottish football today.

Can we start a petition?

Is ther a voting system?

Who decides who gets elected to run it?

Because i for one think its long overdue for proper change is ther anyone out there tht knws what steps or procedure to tke?

6.) 08 Oct 2016 16:19:11
European spot would never happen, different federation's different quota. You could have Eire v N. Ireland pulling the same stroke.

Omar Bogle In 184 he's score 97 goals, can hold up play and left+right footed 6"2 in height. I think we should take a look at him we need a big powerful striker to put away the chances we create.

I know we also need to strengthen other areas such as c. b, but we could get him in and have a look or go and scout a few games of his.

Yip thts a good idea too. i also said in another post. what about even trying to get a British Cup going that scottish, english, irish n welsh teams can play in

with european places up fr grabs, just say if you win the tournament u get champs league qualifier rond spot, and fr runners up in final a europa lge qual spot. i think that could do well n bring money and crowds in.

Just let them hav ther champions elite lge, it will soon get very boring, how many teams would be in it? 8, 10 at most every year. No one would watch it after a couple of year then they would need to re think. Surely they know ths deep dwn already?

I personally don't think it will happen and they will just reform the champions lge so thers mre places, europa lge and maby bring in a 3rd euro lge for the lower teams who are big enough fr europe but never qualify.

Would be good if somehow our lge cup got gve a team a euro spot it would mke it a bit mre exciting and more to play for.
