Think it shows what gio thinks of lundstrum when sands is in the starting 11 before him considering he’s only had a few training sessions with the team! Will be great to get a look at him tho. Fantastic to see king and McCann on the bench well done for both!

Great to see king get on the bench. Fingers crossed gio sees a pathway to first team for him. 3-0 up by half time and I’d like to see him get a 10/ 15 min cameo.

Realistically Dortmund we’re as tough a draw as we could have got! They are tho prone to a counter attack! In the space of a few week gio has us looking much more solid tactically add to that potentially a player or 2 in jan and if we could defend with our life’s it could be a very interesting couple of games. If we get a draw away anything is possible at home and a sneaky 1-0 could be achievable.

I agree but with helander back by then and goldson looking like getting back to his best a solid defensive performance away from home could be vital! I trust gio to set us up in the best system to try gain something from the game! I’m not overly hopfull but I like to be positive 😂.

It was the only draw I properly feared, I was wanting Barcelona for glamour but also because they are struggling at the minute. Dortmund are a formidable team and I hope someone comes in for Haaland in Jan lol. If we can take them back to ibrox still with a chance then you just never know! Let’s hope C.V. doesn’t stop ibrox from being a full house.

One of the toughest draws for us as Dortmund have interchanging fast moving and quick passing players in attack that our defence extremely struggle with but don’t think it would’ve been easy whoever we had as wouldn’t of liked Atalanta, Leipzig or Sevilla either but there’s always a chance if we can stay in it until the home leg but will be a big ask. Just really hope fans will be allowed for both games stayed in Düsseldorf before going to the Signal Iduna and had a great time!

Does anyone know how long winners of Scottish league get automatic qualification for ucl. If we get there I don’t feel we would do overly well so there for our coefficient not increasing and celtic can’t exactly be relied on to help as shown in the past.

Disappointing the fact he could leave for 10 million although still a massive profit on the nominal fee we paid! 20% could prove to be a significant chunk of cash as I feel his game is very well suited to epl and will do very well down there. Great player always available!

In all homestly I doubt it’s true but would be a global name with pulling power for players! Would there be a language barrier tho? We need whoever comes in to hit the ground sprinting never mind running with as few obstacles to over come as possible!

I would tend to agree John, I would expect an announcement Thursday or Friday unless talks have broken down! I don’t feel the board desperately want manager in before hibs game as the team are likely to be set up as previous with Defoe understanding the game formation ect and being able to step in for a game with rest of temp back room
Staff! I would though like the manager to have a full week with the squad before Europa league game to assess the players himself before picking a team.

Maybe we feel fuglini isn’t worth what his club are asking for. I for one would rather we were sensible with our spending! We will spend but I’d rather make sure it’s the right player. Let’s be honest there ain’t many of us know anything about most players we are linked to at best we see a 3min clip of their best but on YouTube! So far I think we have done very well this window especially with news kent Morelos and bassey could be signing extensions. We have a solid core of players and we need to make sure anyone else we spend on is the right player for the right price!
