Not been in here in a while to catch up on stuff. Has the name Kieran McKenna been mentioned as possible manager?

Looks like the EPL was a step too far for his squad.
You would think he would have aspirations to manage in the top flight of England where jobs always seem to come up.
Also signed a new deal with them not that long ago.
I think he will be financially out of our reach.

He won't be on a lot of money at Ipswich and we definetely could afford him.
I have wrote on here about him a few times but nobody has ever responded about my suggestion.

And before anyone takes mick go take a look at run down on his jobs he's guided teams upwards most of his career even against odds with vwry little money
People just remember him for relegation with sheffield but therea a lot more to 4him than that.
Even read his wiki page breakdown that will give you an idwa of how well he's done over years.

One of the best young managers down south and apparently a top coach on the grass to boot, seen a lot of current and former man utd players talking him up. Exactly the kind of manager we should look at if fresh investment is there.

We really wanted Jordan from Seville, and felt we were certain to get him
Along with Cerny and Propper, Jordan would have made 3 players in over the past week or so
Given the type of player Jordan is, we are looking for a similar profile CDM who is strong, experienced and comfortable on the ball, there’s not too many of those players available, given the importance of this player, the club won’t jump into anything without it being the right player
Told we are actively pursuing 2 x central midfielders, as next signings, one experienced, the other with potential for development
Also heard we are looking at a further 4 senior players out between now and the end of this window.

Think he'll get some minutes at the weekend at home to Hibs though and I expect he'll impress.

The whole concept of obligation to buy is ridiculous. I take it - It's just a way of buying a player and delaying the payments for a year to comply with FFP?

It's typically driven by cashflow.
One thing I would say about Cortes, is that the feeling that is quoted is slightly misrepresented.
The £4.5m is the the full potential cost of the deal, so includes a number of add ons.
Also, we've paid around £1m of the deal per season as part of the loan fee.
The actual number we'll pay in the summer to make him permanent is £1.5m.

I thought the 1st half was pretty even tbh, bar a deflected cross and an unbelievable finish the manager, players and fans would've been happy enough with that first 45.
The goal changes it obviously, they go looking for another and we start to sit back deeper and deeper which happens to the best of teams at times. After their second goal I thought we started to play a bit better.
We deserved our away win and they deserved theirs but overall I think we deserved to go through!
Pens are a horrible watch imo just nerve shredding.
Anyway, on to Sunday we go hopefully no injuries and the boys can get the energy for another tough 90mins!

The new interim management team has no affect on me either way, whomever it was going to be is only here to see us til the end of the season and hopefully grab a result or 2 in Europe.
Having given the amount of time money and effort into the research of the running of the club etc I'm hoping/ guessing that the new investors will put as much effort into picking a new manager come the summer.
At the very least I hope to see a Rangers team with a bit of fight, sometimes I think we over complicate things in this country when it comes to football.

He'll definitely be away in the summer as his contract is up, I wouldn't be playing him anyway. He's had his chance it's now time for the young guys to step up and take the opportunity available to them.

What gives me hope is the fact we spotted a kasanwirjo in the first place, we spotted an igamane, Jefte etc. there's talent out there and yeah we won't always get it right but I think we're going in the right direction.
Fork I think if you have 3 knee injuries you're probably unlucky and have other issues that contribute to it. That's just a guess obviously.

He looked a good player but we can't afford to sign a player on a long contract with proven injury problems.
There will be other targets out there we're looking at no doubt as Tav won't be here after the summer and Sterling is another who is although a good player he's unreliable with his fitness.

Same team, but Fernandes at RB as he's big, physical and has pace.
I don't think they'll play Fernandes but I'd like to see it.
