We really wanted Jordan from Seville, and felt we were certain to get him
Along with Cerny and Propper, Jordan would have made 3 players in over the past week or so
Given the type of player Jordan is, we are looking for a similar profile CDM who is strong, experienced and comfortable on the ball, there’s not too many of those players available, given the importance of this player, the club won’t jump into anything without it being the right player
Told we are actively pursuing 2 x central midfielders, as next signings, one experienced, the other with potential for development
Also heard we are looking at a further 4 senior players out between now and the end of this window.

Of the 2 midfielders you say we're after one is a cdm, you think the other is maybe a 10? I think we're probably still missing goals from the midfield we've got.

There’s no doubt Boyle is a decent player. Very effective in our league, but Hibs don’t play against a low block almost every week. We have Matondo, and Sima who have outright pace. If we are after a wide player, then we need someone with a bit of flair who can create that yard and commit players. Also score goals. We have scouts for a reason, so I’m sure we can find someone, whoever that may be. There’s a reason why Kenny Miller isn’t a manager.

Danilo has had a small set back with his knee, it is not a repeat or serious injury.
He is travelling to Holland today for some treatment and rehab, faces 3-4 weeks out (he had to wear a brace today to travel as per advice)
Common in these big injuries, a set back, but happens.

Great result and performance yesterday!
Big Dessers is banging them in and I feel the fans have turned a corner with him and can now see what he brings to the team, I actually think he's improved from last season.
Cerny looks a player, not only is he good 1v1 but he has an eye for a pass.
Connor Barron has been brilliant, I honestly think he could be a captain for us in the future. Loads of energy, very tidy on the ball, aggressive in the tackle and doesn't always look for the sidewards pass. I usually hate this phrase but. he speaks really well too.
I still think we're 3 or 4 starters away from a team that could challenge Celtic but I certainly feel more confident now than I did a few weeks ago.

Great result GMW but I do think Ross County being single fish is part of it. We need to keep a consistency fingers crossed we will but it's frustrating some of those players can play like that one week and not the next. We need more players in and I hope the board don't think that's us fixed.

I'm honestly just absolutely scunnered.
Can't help but feel if we were in a better position in terms of recruitment earlier in the window we could've killed the tie over there because I just don't think they were a great team.
Not sure where we go from here. I seen someone say we've won 1 out of our last 10 competitive games earlier.
It's no surprise to me that Barron has settled in well and hopefully his success in midfield so far makes PC look at more Scottish players.

I think (hope) this will kick our season off and give the players more confidence going into the weekend again and hopefully keep building from here.

Let's put aside whether yesterdays result was a good point or points dropped, let's put aside the fact we only started 1 new signing and let's put aside individual performances for a minute.
Can someone tell me what our style of play is? PC has been here 9 months or so and now had a pre season and I still don't know our style of football, the argument can't be the players need time to gel because those were last seasons players. Watching yesterday felt like I was watching a game from last season. I know previously he likes his teams to play with wingers, well we had 4 different wingers on yesterday and there was nothing new I realize Cerny is just in the door so you can excuse that.
It feels like there's a lot of long balls with no real excitement in our play, if I'm wrong and someone can see the progression from last year please point it out to me.
I honestly hate being negative about Rangers hand on my heart! I'm usually the optimistic person who is always arguing the positives and I just can't see it. I think I'm so sick of coming second to that lot and so sick of all the excuses be it bad recruitment bad management bad leadership from the board. I just want to turn up or tune in to the Gers and watch some decent football and not get stressed out my nut doing it.

He wants to build out from the back but unfortunately has two centre backs that not only can`t defend but also panic when pressed. We also have a centre forward who we can't play off because he has the touch of a baby elephant. I`ve no doubt that he would like to get rid of all three but until someone wants to buy them we are stuck with them. We can only hope that Propper will make a difference at the back, that we have someone in mind to play the Davis/ Lundstram role and that we can replace Drossers up front somehow.
