Phil Jones on loan, at Murray park for a year loan over the weekend. Mourinho rates Jones but would like him to prove his fitness and overcome injury issues so giving him a year before deciding on his future at the theatre of dreams. My mates working down in Manchester and he passed on this rumour. Dout it's true tho.

If we don't get a decent defender in we would be doing well to finish second. Let's not forget that defence is he same defence that was leaking goals in the championship. Barton sitting in front is going to be able to stop that on his own. Surprised MW hasn't addressed that area yet. I know he doesn't want to be forced into buying someone he's not convinced about but there must be loads of available defenders that are better than what we have.

Either warburtons happy to continue risking Kiernan and Wilson or he's not too bothered about bringing in abother centre half. One minute he's telling us he wants to bring in another 2 players then we are ready and then saying he's happy with the squad we have got. Tbh I'm not 100% happy with the centre halfs, it's all fine and dandy saying crooks will play there but if he doesn't fit the bill we have 4 centre halfs that are fairly mediocre.

I agree that defence is by far our weakest position, but everybody seems to forget we have a very talented young lad in matt crooks who can cover centre back very comfortably. I wouldn't mind another defender but a defensive partnership of crooks and wilson will be solid especially with barton playing just in front of them.

I am quite sure that Warburton knows how poor our central defence is and would love to sign a quality defender and equally he would like a proven goalscorer but these types cost money and there is more chance of Scotland winning the world cup than of Dave King funding such a deal! He is just another Murray with his moonbeams!

He is far too lightweight. We need a stronger more muscular forward than what Murphy is. He's more suited to the wider role but we have enough wider players. We need a mobile poacher type player who will do the running as well as score. A more cynical Waghorn if you like. If Waghorn gets injured we will struggle a bit through the middle because you can't expect Miller to play week in week out and Clarke is nowhere near good enough. He might do a job in this league but they will definitely need to bring someone in for next year and maybe that's the plan. We are better off hanging tight till next year before making anymore buys I think. We have enough fire power to go up this year quite comfortably as we did last year but bad management (Ally and co) prevented that. We will attract better players next year for sure.

I asked the same question the other day, it seems he got on great, even warbs gave a statement regards Senderos, he strolled the 60 minutes he played and is looking in great shape for not having much competitive games recently, works hard in training and still has a great desire for the game. he's out to prove his worth in scotland.

Was at game Gaz T, he fitted in well, but wasn't really tested, think he will be a good addition, good to see someone at the back who can head the ball .
The player who I am not too sure about is Joey Barton,
I have yet to see him have a outstanding game for us, he should know it is not a stroll in the park up here, and start showing what he is capable of .

I really think we will get Stewart on a pre in Jan I really do hope Warbs brings in a CH and a striker soon but definitely a CH as I have high hopes for Dodoo I think this guy will bang them in given a decent run, have faith in Dodoo also Windass think Warbs will play this guy in a far more attacking role BUT CH priority!

Defo agree mate cb is priority. i'd like to see rossiter as the sitter with barton an windass more advanced. think windass would influence games more than krankjar as he's more pacey, athletic, strong etc.
