Despite my eternal optimism and love for the club, i can't believe that we'll be good enough next season to take on the those who play for the title along with those who hand them out. Fighting 1 enemy is hard enough nevermind having the people running the game also fighting you.

If we are good enough on the park, it doesn’t matter what happens of the park.
Consistency will be the key. We’ve proved in spells we are good enough. 👍.

It wasn't any enemy that made us collapse after Dubai.

Let's not make excuses before a ball is kicked.

We were good enough on the park on many occasions and the officials consistency of being biased showed which cost us points also, Aribo getting his head burst open, arfield being broken in half, Cosgrove fouling more than 15 times with no card, 3 offside players and goal allowed to stand, fourth officials being ignored by referees, etc. etc. etc if I was a player it would do my head in. Tavernier should never return as captain and eff the spfl.

No one to blame but ourselves hammerite. 👍.

Rossco3001, i posted about the way our club have been cheated by officials on here in december, i got told i was parra, ha ha ha, now loads of rangers fc sites are moaning about the corruption, proven right again, mate, lol.

Tell me why Tavernier is our captain? Makes as many mistakes defensively as he does when lost in attack. Hardly inspires confidence in those around him. Gerard says he's all in, he may be but he team aren't. We're to predictable, don't move the ball quick enough and tonight let a rubbish team bully and harrass us allover the pitch for the 2nd game in a row. Stop 9, don't make me laugh, that lot will get another 9 the way we're playing.

Gerrard must see something in training🤷‍♂️👍.

Hammer ite every team bully’s us and have for several years. That’s one of the biggest problems, tell me who in that team regularly puts in a solid tackle.

3.) 05 Mar 2020 13:42:16
John25. , come on mate, you know as well as me not one of our players ever put in a 50/ 50 tackle, feart in case there finger nails get cracked or god forbid broken, lol.

Dicker should've seen red for dive in the box but the ref missed that. Funny he saw the Morelos dive thou. Hand ball there goal defo, push on Morelos in box was more of a penalty than the push that disallowed his goal.
That said, Davis on bench, Jones knows that pitch like the back of his hand and he was benched, Aribo was lost, Hagi can't play on plastic and Kent needs to change it up cause my wife could mark him outta a game as a fullback. Don't get me started on Halliday, has Pollster not got a left foot.

Wifred Bony @ 30 would do a job as a 3rd option striker and probably cost less overall than the Midjytland CF now he's without a club.
He's strong, experienced and can finish so why not?

Jones is a great player for the SPL. Northern Ireland boy with bags of potential, can only get better with us and probably make us some money when the English clubs come calling in a season or 2.

Truebluesotrue, why would Mcleish be such a bad appointment?
He did the same as WS, won trophies with a poorer squad than Walter, managed the national side narrowly missing out on a tournament, went south for pastures greener, probably did better than Walter down there winning promotion and a trophy before being offered other jobs.

Just because he's failed with Villa and others doesn't make him a bad or backward step. Let's face it if Walter said he'd come back for the remainder of the season how many complaints would there be.

With Rae and Ferguson i can accept to a point your scepticism as they're unproven but they are Rangers through and through and that passion in the background needs to be there to flow through the players.

TBF Isle of mull, that's a fair point but let's not get carried away with the doomed finances. DK and his band of merry men took a gamble with Pedro that backfired, if they realise their error they'll put their hands in their pockets and get the finances stabilised for the remainder of the season and onward.

We're all aware that the RANGERS BRAND is one of the biggest in football and with that there's interest from businessmen everywhere but until we have a team capable of entertaining and competing we won't get the external financial investment we need to help us get back to were we belong.

IMO, although i could stab myself in the face for saying this, phatboy Ashley seems to be lurking in the shadows with a potential pot of cash to invest in a business that will bring him better options than NUFC ever did for minimal outlay. As much of a see you next thursday he was to us, he could still make things right given the chance.

Hows about taking on the biggest job you're likely to get and not keep a guy in your setup that's proved twice that he's a better tactician and manager of pressure games.
I, We don't want McInnes!
McLeish is the man we need with his experience of different leagues, the club and our history, his previous in charge and the fact that he may bring back Ferguson and Rae to the background team while giving Murty the No.2 tag to give him some further experience before he succeeds him in time.
If we don't get him the sheep will and i think that's another top manager in business working against us.
