He says there is an agreement of first refusal to Rangers on signing Morgan Whittaker at end of the season.
Apparently three bids knocked back in January and the player was devasted.

The manager sees no problem on left side of defence, that is worrying . Lots of midfielders now plenty upfront but still a serious problem in defence, chaos in that area and has been for some considerable time. Players are knocking their pan in in an attacking sense then seeing howlers galore in defence .

Last season we lost a couple of games due to defensive mistakes but in all of them our attacking players missed plenty of chances to change the result. We should have been 3 up at Pittodrie for example before we let in that freak goal. Finish the easy chances and mistakes at the back are not so crucial.

Most but not all of our defensive issues are team issues not just the problem of the back 4. We lack something in midfield in terms of cover for both our fullbacks and we are slow to react and cover runs. One major issue we have and it's where we miss Kent an Morelos we don't have the out ball barasic and Tav are put under pressure at times by not having a man to hit ho can hold the ball up and take us up the park.

If a transfer had been arranged then Kamara wouldn’t have featured today. There is no way Rangers would risk the player being injured if he was just about to move.

Bit harsh John especially to a new poster. If there’s proof the lad can use both feet effectively, and has pace, then it’s down to whether we are looking at him. YouTube isn’t the most reliable source but any video footage that demonstrates pace and ability to use both pegs well, is proof in itself. Whether he’s good enough is altogether another issue.

Livibear, the agreement to sell Miller to Wolves was done by Dick Advocaat in his final days as manager, McLeish actually tried to stop it but was too late. I`m glad Miller had a great football brain because he had the touch of an elephant. All this talk about Kent doing nothing for Rangers is bs, go on and look at highlights of most of our big wins and he is at the centre of most of it. Our signing policy, we have been to quick to overlook Scottish based and signed non Scottish based players who are no better.

Yilmaz has been given so much hope and credit for someone who has been unavailable for selection much more than he's ever available. The same people that believe in him want tav, lundstrum and the likes out of our club yet these guys are always available. When yilmaz has played does he blow you away with his skills and style of play. The boy has played for us over a year and you could count on one hand how many good games he's had. I think davies at lb in European games will do us good. he's big strong and defensively minded and that is what we need more than a guy who will be on the sick or disappear halfway through a game.

Yilmaz was injured at the time but Beale should have taken a longer term view to when he would be fit for for the other 5 games. With Devine being a natural right back, he could have taken the gamble on Tav always being fit anyway and leaving Sterling out of the squad.
That looks far more logical than including three right backs and only one left back. Given how little has has played Sterling's fitness like Dowell is a major concern for us. We seem to have signed another two players with long term problems who can't even handle training never mind games.

Most of the names banded about are from outside the UK and that just hasn't worked for us with the pkayer transfer budgets we have.

Cantwell was valued at 20mill few years back when norwich were in the EPL he was destroying the best defences in that league at 20-21yrs old, Liverpool were seriously close to snapping him up, thank feck they didn't as we would never have got him.

Tom like you I have also said many times about Morelos and his attitude in a rangers jersey he was never irreplaceable and we should have got rid when we had a chance of some money for him
I’m glad his time is finally up along with kent can’t believe we paid 7 million for kent I still to this day don’t believe he was worth half of that.

Cantwell also never allowed their playmaker mcgregor an inch of breathing space and stifled him big time, so to stop the flow because as i've said many times, stop mcgregor and you stop them functioning properly! Tom I agree been saying for a while now that the movement up front has been lacking and forwards playing for themselves not the team Morelos/ Kent/ tilman
Although to be fair to tilman been shuttled about different positions
More players need to try emulate cantwells off the ball attitude if we had more chasing like him in midfield we would be brilliant hardest working player I've seen since gattuso.

sir walter, let me tell you right now i'm disappointed we got beat but overall i don't really care it did not effect my day. we won when it mattered and when the pressure was on and as for youse had players out and so did we.
