"In warbs we trust"
"The transfer window is just started"
"Hill can do a job, look what Davie Weir did when he came"
This is only some of the guff I've heard on here the last few weeks.
Since the turn of the year every single one of us, could see where the team needs strengthened.
Central defense!
Reality check time on here for some of us.
That defense is not good enough to win the SPL that's not a jerk reaction to today, it's not doom and gloom.
It's a fact!
I'm 100% behind the manager and the changes and progress we've made in the last year, but it's blatantly obvious we have no money to spend.

I thought we were pretty awful today but this team needs time. I don't expect to win the league this year, it would be a magnificent achievement but we need to keep in mind we have only just been promoted.

The current crop need to step up a level and get to know the new guys.

We definitely need another cb and cf but if we can't get the right player then i'd rather we wait than panic buy and get left paying needless wages again.

We are definitely a work in progress but I believe we have a manager who can build a really great team if given time.

I think he needs at least to be given a couple of years in the premier before he can really be judged.

There are things we all know need addressing, but the style of play is a million times better and we are only going to improve.

Barton was good, McKay was drosski, to light weight, no brave enough. Tav was excellent, need Barton and rossiter holding with one going up now and again.
Three mods ohalloran, niko, Harry, wi miller up top.

3.) 06 Aug 2016 22:42:12
Stuzo

Don't think Miller is the answer up front. He has been a great servant to the club however age has caught up with him and he can't be relied upon to score the amount of goals needed from a striker.

4.) 06 Aug 2016 19:27:16
Today was not about the defence it was about the final third, we should be knocking at least 3 past Hamilton.

5.) 06 Aug 2016 19:33:27
Certainly true, but the defence wasn't the problem today. Anyone know if Windass will be back for next week?
Dave King said in Rangers tv that they are working on a couple of deals before the transfer window deadline.

6.) 06 Aug 2016 19:49:28
Spot on he's very average were less than average. Septic will win the league easy and still numpties on here will say Warbs is fantastic. No he's not he's fekin awful wake up and smell the lilies.

Still can't defend!
You can get shot down on here for having an opinion.
But that defence playing today is not good enough, whether it's pre season, mid season, end of season, any season!

Sorry to dissapoint but their won't be any marquee striker coming in, as its obvious we have no money to spend.
I'm not complaining about the quality of players we have signed, I think the gaffer has excelled in this window so far.
The days of a million plus signings are long gone, the sooner everyone realizes this the better.
But reality check time, I don't think we can win the league with free transfers and loans.
One off games yes but over a full season I'm not so sure.
I hope I'm proved wrong.

Window hasn't even opened yet so we can't spend any money we can only get pre contracts in just now.

2.) 28 Jun 2016 18:11:55
Gees oh mate your life must be hard with all that negativity you have a ball hasn't even been kicked yet and you have us losing the league.

3.) 28 Jun 2016 19:32:14
I believe the rossiter signing is a massive coupe just because he never cost money doesn't make him a marquee signing.

4.) 28 Jun 2016 18:38:53
Jorgethehammer we won the league with free signings and free transfers last time, so what's the diffrence mate? a harder league you will say eh, remember we beat killie, dundee, celtic, with these players we had (hibs v rangers cup final) so now that we have strengthened i don't see any big problems next season, in saying that, ime not saying will win the league, but i honestly think saying we will be there, or there abouts, imho.

5.) 28 Jun 2016 20:20:44
It's a harder league to suggest otherwise is nonsense! we will need to be better.

6.) 28 Jun 2016 21:19:15
Ryan? Its a harder league? Is this the harder league we beat 3 teams from last season? I honestly don't know who hibs put out to reach the cup final, but ide imagine they beat a team or two from thismharder league you speak of, i don't think there's much diffrence from this better league, than the top 4 maybe even6 teams that finished the championship league, if there was could you explain why two championship teams reached the cup final, remembering falkirk of course, they finished runners up to us,

7.) 28 Jun 2016 21:21:12
It won't take a lot to win in this league and all money fans going on about Brenda, think back to Liverpool £250 million spent to win nowt they finished 2nd 1 year but that was because of Suarez.

8.) 29 Jun 2016 00:08:14
who he never signed.

I think this move for Gilks proves there will be no money spent on transfer fees this window.
looking like it's going to be all frees and loans.

Wes has had as little as one season as Number 1.

Couple of errors don't make him a bad GK. We wouldn't have spent anything on a GK anyway.

McGovern wouldn't have been a guaranteed starter. Nor will Gilks. Wes is MW number 1 this season and it's always been the case. Doubtful from the start that we were going to get Bentley.

Like the Bradshaw situation. Don't think people have seen enough to judge. Just judging from reputation.

2.) 22 Jun 2016 15:56:53
Are you complaining about the players we have signed I think it's been a great transfer window for us maybe they will be willing to spend a few million on a proven goal scorer who nos it's a free or not but we have came along way if niko signs that's even better big striker good goal keeper and a young CB with potential then try our luck with loans I'm sure there will be definitely 2 loans hope it's more cracking youth players in England.

3.) 22 Jun 2016 16:35:56
Where will the money come from? We want a club that will be self-sufficient not someone constantly giving us money and then everything goes tits up when they leave. we are building a team and a business at the same time. if we can do it for free/ spending very little then I'm fine with that. Gilks coming proves very little, if Warburton wants experience he'll get experience. Can I remind everyone we have no money from merchandise and no European games for money either. once we have both we will be a striving success.

4.) 22 Jun 2016 17:13:01
The signings so far have been excellent and a lot of respect must go to Warburton and his team for securing the players.

Let's hope that we see Kranjcar complete his signing today and I sincerely hope we are successful in securing the Crystal palace Centre Back and a decent quality striker.

My only disappointment is that we have not signed a better goalkeeper since I have genuine concerns regarding a number of aspects of Wes' play. He is poor with cross balls, does not command his penalty box and gets caught too often at his near post. Still, perhaps with an older and wiser goalkeeper there to coach him he will be better this season/.

5.) 22 Jun 2016 18:51:22
I would agree with you, just on the point that Wes is suspect at set pieces/ cross balls, a keeper can win or loose u a match, players that played better than him are probably going to loose there first team place, kinda seems unfair for him to be number 1. And I still remember the game near the season end at Easter road, when he practically chucked it in his own net, I'm not convinced by Wes. Although I'm not expecting a woods, goram, or klos.

People so quick too slag mcCulloch off.
He stayed when others like McGregor & Naismith deserted us.
Yes his legs were gone last year and he probably shouldn't have been playing, but he always gave his all for the jersey unlike some others.
