Ashley is the one holding this up, he won the court case so now he either has to match the bid from JD or whoever or let us go. If he matches the bid then I believe we have to stay with SD as our retail partner, the only way we can move would be if he refused to match another offer. Jist of it is, he won the court case what, 2 weeks ago now? So he is stalling on making an offer for whatever reason he has.

All of the above regarding the contract with SD and its permutations are just hear say because no one outside of either board (RFC and SD) knows what the deal actually stated and Ashley will have confidentiality clauses all over any current/ new contract so the RFC board will never be able to tell us anything without being in breach of contract and costing us more money in a court room.

End of the day, we will be looking at a better kit deal in terms of how much we make from every shirt. Unfortunately that may mean we have to continue business with Ashley but our board must ensure there is nothing in the new contract that will leave us with Ashley bending us over a barrel, like a 7 year notice to leave.

Perhaps you think Windass has only played a couple of games because he went missing so much last year that you didn't even notice he was on the park. He has tonnes of ability but he doesn't have the correct attitude to play for a club this size. Any bid that comes close to the reported 3 million has to be accepted.

When will some fans realise that we don't have the financial ability to get top level players anymore. We have to use other means to get better players in that what we had the year before, sometimes that could be players on a free like we have done this year (McGregor, Arfield) or use the big teams down in England and take their best youth prospects that they have available. Like a previous reply stated, other than Mbappe last year, which essentially wasn't even a loan, when was the last time a "World Class" player went on loan to anyone? Never mind to a team in our league.

Or to keep some fans happy we could just do what the other mob have done and go spend 9 Million on a player who was on loan at the club last year so hasn't actually improved their team at all.

His loyalty will never be forgotten but the truth is Declan John is a far better option at left back than Wallace, younger also so is only going to get better.

I thank Wallace for his loyalty but his time at Rangers has come and gone, how do we ever expect to improve if we want to keep a player who is on the high end of our wage bill just to sit on the bench (although he sat in the stands for the majority of this season) just because he was loyal when rubbish hit the fan.

Like I say, his loyalty will never be forgotten and I will never have a bad thing to say about Lee Wallace but we need to start looking to the future and he isn't it.

We do have to register kits to the SFA and UEFA before a certain date but that doesn't mean we have to have them on sale for supporters. Makes perfect sense to hold off until the sports direct deal is done (if that's what is happening) as the sales for all 3 kits are going to go through the roof and why should any of those sales go to Ashley? the team can still wear the kits on the park without them being on sale to supporters.

Why do we need 4 Strikers? We have Sadiq and Morelos already so I would think we only need one more to give us options. Having 4 strikers would leave one of them collecting a wage for just turning up at training. With the current turn in form for Morelos no one is taking his place so whoever comes in will most likely join Sadiq on the bench anyway. However if we do get to the group stages of EL then we will need to rotate the squad as games come thick and fast and also the travel for Thursday games can be a pain in terms of getting a team ready for a Sunday.

Unfortunately we are unseeded because we haven't played in Europe Since 2011 and last years mess didn't help either, Celtic doing badly only effects where Scottish clubs begin the qualification process, but the same can be said for the other teams that have participated in Europe over the last 5 years. So regardless of how well Celtic and others were doing in Europe we would still have been unseeded, only difference being we may have had less qualifiers to play.

If he can stay fit I would give it to Jordon Rossiter. He was the only player after the Progres game who had the balls to come out and speak to any reporters and was very honest in his assessment. Also he showed more passion in the Hibs game (5-5) than any other player had showed over the course of the whole season. Easy decision for me.

I agree he has been a fantastic servant for the club through all of his spells here and yes he probably was just saying what we were all thinking but as an employee of the club he should have been a bit more clever in the way he done it. let's be honest here, this isn't the first manager he has fallen out with or had a disagreement with. I don't disagree with him voicing his displeasure at team performances or whatever but as a senior member of the squad he should have handled the situation a bit better, as should have Wallace as club captain.

youth teams can also get nike and adidas strips for pretty cheap, I used to coach a under 12s team and we got Nike strips for £14 per strip. it doesn't matter who is making the kits, its the badge on the strip that counts. honestly some rangers fans will find anything to moan at on these pages.
