Original post was probably in jest, but Barkley only signed for Nice back in September 22 so not sure he will become a free agent in the summer.

Watched Johnson a few times down here as my mate and his family all have season tickets.

He was voted the fans and player’s player of the year
After a slight change in formation by Alex Neil pushed him further forward.

From what I've seen he’s skillfull but not very quick. He can play a pass and can also break up play. Last few seasons he’s been sitting midfield until last year when he went to nr10. Not overly creative or dynamic but can cover the park well.

Scored a few last year but he’s there designated penalty taker so be mindful of that.

Overall I feel he’s a good squad player and is probably similar to Zunga. Make of that what you will, but for me he’s coming and Zunga won’t be staying.

Agree with INGWT, no issue with discussing team selection for upcoming games whatsoever. There is no “counting chickens” simply by expressing an opinion on what players would suit certain games. By some comments on here it would only be appropriate to discuss team selection for the next upcoming fixture.

The above being said, Game management and team selection over the next batch of fixtures will be essential. Perhaps open the discussion up to what players could be rotated for the games leading upto the Celtic game, might keep everyone happy.

Kenny McLean is 28 years old, great experience but at £10 million the answer is simply no. Rangers will only spend big money on players with potential sell on. At 28 it’s there is no potential return on investment. Good player yes, but Rangers need good players we can develop and sell on. Perhaps a loan deal and maybe £3 million we could consider it.

Hi Guys, something doesn’t add up about the Roofe situation. Sometimes clubs use “injuries” to mask other issues that are happening with players. Perhaps Roofe is suffering with something external in his life? I hope I’m wrong, and it’s just a case of Gio wanting to start afresh with other attacking options.

Did they not turn Ceefax off a year or so ago?

That’s amazing if teletext is still going! Used to love teletext holidays, and checking my coupon results.
Good times!

I agree to an extent TWBG, however last years season was called with them having 8 games left to play and a lead of 13 points (10 if we had win our game in hand) . We’ve still got 16 games left with a lead of 19 (10 if they win games in hand) . In my opinion A tad too early to say it’s the same circumstances.

That said, never a better chance for us to deliver the 55. They seemed to be building a bit of momentum, even if it was against the Lower end of quality opposition, Saturday may not have dealt the killer blow but we have inflicted some serious psychological damage which I don’t think they will recover from.

Next few games are vital to hammer home the advantage!

As expressed by others previously, missed some of Arfields runs from deep to better connect midfield. Gerrard also said himself he was thinking of changing it up before Roofe got injured as he wasn’t happy With the front 3.

Aribio was slack in possession and was under pressure from Celtics press, that said The whole midfield were. Thought it improved once Hagi came on and showed for the ball more and linked up to the forwards better.

Kent is still working extremely hard defensively and tracking back well, but just seems to have lost a little zest and speed. Perhaps he needs a rest, but who can fill in to allow him his breather?
