We are supposable looking at Martim Neto and Tiago Gouveia both from benfica and both look very talented. Plus benfica have a great youth system just have to look at Jota and Bernardo at the other lot to show it can work.

For what it's worth here's my take on Yesterday's abysmal showing by the starting eleven. Butland at fault for the second. Should never be beaten by a back pass from 25 yards.
Tav uninterested waving his hands about as if it's everyone else's fault Please go

Sterling Have seen him play better. But never a midfielder

why didn't Phil see that the passing back across the area for sometimes long periods had to be fixed right there and then. that's what a coach does. makes changes to playing patterns as the game goes on. he didn't. whether his fault or the players is immaterial. and how matondo and Tav weren't moved on is beyond me. but as you said stig, we will follow until we get it right might take a while but we'll get there.

How about the passing back and forward is a way to get opponents to press which if you break it can create space going forward. It can also frustrate the opposition as they don't have the ball and crowd turn against them. None of this worked yesterday granted but good reasons to do it.

Keep going on about Dessers but John Soutter and McCausland missed 2 absolute sitters in the 2nd half to make it 2-1. It seems like McCausland misses a sitter also every celtic game he plays in and nobody says anything about it.

Storm, fans don’t know what a rebuild is. Eh think from 2012 they have a good idea. What I think fans are struggling with is we have already rebuilt and been successful and are now going backwards. Usually caused by mismanagement through incompetent from upper middle to high level managers. To busy watching out for them selves, thus our board.

I watched the Ryan Jack Podcast on Open Goal and he said that Clement likes to get ball up the park early.
This baffles me as yesterday the fullbacks and keeper just continually passed it between each other.
Either Clement has changed his philosophy or the players aren’t brave enough and don’t know what to do?
Dio, Tav, Cerny and Matondo were absolutely woeful yesterday.
PC says Dio will be a huge asset for Rangers in the future but I just don’t see how.
Whoever sanctioned the bid for Matondo should be sacked, likewise the person who rejected the offer for him last month.
Tav looks fed-up. Everyone mentions his goals but we’re 5 games into the season and apart from the shot late on in the game yesterday I don’t think he’s attempted to score.

Windy we rebuilt by paying too high a wage and letting players go when they were out of contract. this time I suspect as we weren't willing to pay them even more. Now we have to rebuild from 5 players leaving OOC and others as they were paid too much. it took a while to be successful after previous rebuild, Gerrard took 3 years and others after him kept the base of that squad so never actually rebuilt until Beale.
What is it that the board are doing when you say looking after themselves. is it putting £100million+ into the club to be continually questioned and criticised by fans just to get a seat in the stands every week. I know of better ways to spend my money and i'm sure they will always get a ticket if they leave and want to come back to watch.
